Not only are they 8 months in arrears in payments, but I had received my first non-sufficient funds check from a community in all of these years!! I also have a different community that I serve that is managed by vivage. They have been up front in letting me know that payments will be processed 3 months after they receive my invoice. I'm okay with that, because at least they pay. It's very sad for the employees and administrators of the facilities where in my opinion, this management company is completely failing to serve them in a professional capacity. As a vendor, I am extremely dissatisfied, and I would be distrustful if I had family members in these facility as well.

I…read moreobserved a housekeeper spend approximately 15 minutes vacuuming a single 8x10 rug before leaving the unit, and that seemed to constitute the entire week's cleaning. The sink was so dirty that insects were living in the drain, and the bathrooms appeared to receive little to no regular cleaning. The food is heavily processed and offers very little nutritional value. One typical lunch consisted of a few tablespoons of a mayonnaise-and-dried-cranberry mixture served on institutional wheat bread with processed turkey and processed cheese, along with a side of boiled macaroni mixed with even more mayonnaise. The receptionist at the front desk rarely acknowledged visitors, often remaining focused on her phone except when conversing with a male staff member. The quality of care was inconsistent. While a few staff members were attentive and helpful, many others appeared negligent, resulting in an overall experience that felt disorganized and unreliable.

You know our beloved older family members living in a retirement home like Springbrooke have very little to look forward to, yet the one thing they have to look forward to is good food. At Springbrooke they are failing miserably at this, the soup I had was absolutely bland, had no seasoning and was cold, and I mean cold, not even warm. My Chicken was severly overcooked, flavorless, un seasoned and literally so dry I dont think there is enough sauce in Denver to help it. The vegetables were un seasoned, they obviously came out of a frozen bag, and were cooked to the point of being MUSH. My aunt said this was par for the course and told me that breakfast is even worse. Our server, an Ethiopian lady who was at least pleasant, when I complained about how dry and horrible my chicken was explained to me "That is how our chef cooks the chicken here, that is how our residents like it" and did nothing to even offer me something else or to replace it with a better piece of chicken. * My Aunt told me that they are now on the 3rd or 4th Chef since she has been there in only 2.5 years, she said when she moved in the food was average, then she explained the food was absolutely wonderful for around 6-9 months when they hired a great chef, but then that Chef quit and the new chef is absolutely horrendous. I hope someone in a position of power reads this and can talk to the chef. My Aunt likely does not have long left on earth, and we want her to get the most enjoyment she can in the time she has left, and the poor quality of food, the dirty living conditions, and the lackluster and poorly trained dining staff are not going to achieve that.... From the beginning, this facility kept contacting me every couple of months, asking if I had made a decision and pushing for my business. When I was finally ready to move my sister, I met again with the coordinator, who assured me there would be no problems. We did the assessment over FaceTime, and that's where the red flags started. The nurse seemed fixated on the fact that my sister doesn't like to take showers--something that is extremely common with Alzheimer's patients--yet showed no real concern for her actual care needs. At that time, my sister wasn't on a medication schedule, which I explained, but instead of asking important questions, the nurse didn't even bother to meet my sister until I pushed for it. When she finally did, she spoke to her for a few seconds and abruptly ended the call. A few days later, the facility contacted me to say my sister wasn't a "good fit" because of her hygiene. That told me everything I needed to know. If a so-called memory care facility doesn't even understand that hygiene challenges are a direct symptom of dementia, they are not equipped to care for Alzheimer's patients--period. Their lack of basic knowledge and dismissive attitude made it clear they had no idea what they were doing.

It smells like literal death. Not only do I wonder about the well being of nearby residents but the elder residents themselves is my main concern here. I asked a nearby resident how often this occurs and they exclaimed that it happens weekly for hours at a time. Why on earth is this place allowed to release this poisonous gas into the air for hours on end and legally have people living at the residence who are inhaling this at the same time? Something is not right here. This needs to be reported to the EPA or some type of environmental agency. The people living here are probably uanware that this is happening. 0/5
