Wow the way this place just made me fall in love with milk tea again. There are sooo many boba places in the area but I actually wasn't into boba for awhile bc there was nothing that really impressed me. Until this place. Tried it for the first time and couldn't stop raving about it to everyone. I don't know what else to say that hasn't been said, all I know is that this place just does it so well. The drinks I always have to get when I go: Hokkaido Milk Tea with Mochi (100% sweet less ice) Pudding milk tea (100% sweet less ice) I'm also a fan of their hot jasmine milk tea. The only negative that I can think of is that sometimes their drinks don't seal properly so surprise surprise when I go shake it, there's a mess lol. Doesn't happen all the time but enough where I would just be cautious before you shake your drink. Otherwise definitely my favorite boba place right now. read more

Went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was a line! You ordered at a kiosk but luckily at this location there's two. I ordered the mango slushy with boba and it came with the jello pieces. The boba was well textured and very chewy and the drink itself I felt was over blended I wish it was more icy and cold. Delicious drink overall but maybe next time I'd get 70% sweet as it was too much for my liking. read more

5/5 Fresh Taro Frostie 5/5 Mango Frostie I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I had to come back today. I tried the honey boba yesterday, which was clear and too chewy for my liking. I found myself avoiding the boba so that I didn't have to chew so much. The taro frostie was my favorite at 100% sweetness. I thought it had just the right amount of sugar for a sweet treat at the end of the day. read more

Drove 3 hours for the LADS (Love and Deep Space) event and I have to say I'm not impressed with how they handled the giveaway and one of the employees (female in white with glasses) had an attitude and gave me the wrong character for my drink. :/ I thought every order came with a specific character lol. Drinks are great and tasty tho! 5 Star for Drinks but 1 star for that one employee. The other workers were nice and patient. read more

I'm really happy that there's a Milpitas location now! I'm typically not a fruit tea kind of person, but one of the employees (Sophie) told me that they're good here! I got the Sunright Fruit Tea, and I'm actually reaaally happy that there's fruit pulp in it lol. Not too sweet! Perfect The service here is great! I was told that you can bring a tumbler to use for your drink to use instead of the plastic. I see myself coming here a lot more often in the future My friends got the other two drinks: Cream Pudding MT and Pudding Boba Milk. they liked their drinks a lot, and recommend these to anybody that likes their drinks sweet! read more

Sunright is one of my favorite boba places in the Bay Area. My friends, siblings, and I were very excited to hear that it was going to open up in Milpitas. I went there today during their soft opening around lunch time, and there wasn't a lot of people. The cashier had me order from a Kiosk, which was great for social distancing purposes. My drink also came out really fast. My favorite drink from Sunright is the strawberry jasmine tea with 100% sweetness and cheese foam :). There's a perfect balance between the bitterness of the tea and the sweetness of the cheese foam. read more

I've been to Sunright a bunch of times, at their SoCal locations as well. As far as consistency- this is by far one of my favorite boba chains. You know when you order a drink here it's going to taste the same each time. Highlights: -Most of their drinks with a topping come out to be $6 or less, a rarity for good boba in 2023 -Boba is always well cooked, perfect amount of chew and always tastes fresh -Huge topping selection including brown sugar AND honey boba, drinkable mocha, jelly, etc. -They use an order ahead system so you can place an order ahead of time on your phone and pick up quickly They have a great selection of milk teas and fruit teas, with combinations you don't see too often like their matcha oolong milk tea, which I'm a huge fan of. Hope they open more locations in the east bay! read more

Sunright Tea Studio - Milpitas - Cool to go bag split down the middle to perfectly hold 2 drinks - Bubble Tea Near Me - Milpitas, California

New location beside the one in Sunnyvale, the store has places to sit and stand around, more spacious. One of my favorite boba tea when I think about fruit juice or cheese cream. They have variety of choices, the drink to me mostly sweet so I always order around 50% to 75% for cream cheese drink and frostie. Quick service, friendly staff and clean. Sometimes depends on the season they will have a promotion such as BOGO for grape drink this month and such for online order, so make sure to follow them on social media if you don't wanna miss a deal :)) read more

In the quest for a good tea on a late night in Milpitas, I came across this place. The staff was very polite and helpful. They have these kiosks to place orders which makes it so much easier to place custom orders. The ambiance is good and goes with their theme, but too yellow for my taste. I will not hold that against them though. read more

I haven't had the food here but I have had the drinks from here and I would say they are pretty good. They aren't expensive and they are pretty fast with ordering through the screen on the sides and then getting your order. They do sometimes not have certain drinks which is kind of a bummer but the other drinks have been good like the Thai tea and panda drink. They have a place where you can sit down and wait for your drinks which is nice. read more

The Sunright boba milk tea is a solid choice. I usually go for 75% sweetness. The strong flavor pairs well with their in-house brown sugar boba. **PSA:** If you're going to order any fruit drink, just know that their fruit drinks have added syrup before the regular serving of sweetener is added. I usually opt for 0-25% sweetness. read more

I was excited to see that there was a new Sunright opening aside from the Sunnyvale location! Honestly I always enjoy the teas I get at Sunright my go tos are the Oreo Brûlée Boba Milk and Sunright Fruit Tea! They always add a good amount of toppings and the flavor is always good. The staff is so fast and always get my drinks right. The only thing is the seating is a bit awkward inside. Yes I'm super happy they have seating, but I wish they would've had tables and chairs instead of the half circle seating that's there. It's definitely more of a grab and go place than a sit down and hang out place. read more

My bf and I were so exciting to have Sunright Tea Studio near our work place. We ordered the Crème Brûlée Boba Milk with 75% sweetness, regular ice, and house milk. We also got the red bean match frostie with no red bean, 75% sweetness, and cheese foam. We like our drinks but they were a bit too sweet for us. The boba was chewy and perfect. Highly recommend adjusting sweetness to a lower level. read more

I love Sunright, and I'm so happy they opened another store! I like that this place has 2 kiosks instead of 1 like the Sunnyvale location. It's been pretty empty the couple times I've gone so haven't had to wait in line for too long. The inside of this location is quite karate and spacious, and it even has some seating for when you're waiting for your order, if you don't want to wait outside. The prices are reasonable (for what boba costs nowadays . Significantly cheaper than Yi Fang. If I lived less than 20 minutes away I'd probably be here every day. The mango frostie is so refreshing, and I love the green tea jelly that comes with it. It goes together perfectly. My other go-to drink is the Sunright boba milk tea. Their boba is excellent- I like the size, and they are appropriately QQ! read more

This tea place tasted very great . The staff were welcoming . I really enjoy this place while relaxing and talking to my family and friends . I would recommend here and I would go again! read more

I've been coming to this location a little more frequently and can say I have never been disappointed. The teas have been consistent and are made super quickly. Every time I have been, it has not been busy or I placed an online order and my drink is done within 5 minutes. Inside, it is super spacious with a little bit of seating, but it's not really a sit down place since there are no tables. You order through a kiosk and wait for them to call your number. I typically get the ceylon milk tea and my boyfriend loves the lemon yakult. I also really liked their white peach oolong milk tea. read more

Great tea with balanced sweetness and tea flavor, available with oatmeal. Self order with prompt and friendly service.

We are trying out this place while visiting our family. The kids all got the brown sugar boba and I tried the matcha oblong milk tea. I chose 50% sweetness and it was just the right amount. The kids all loved their milk tea. I like that their cup size is big and you can really taste the strong tea flavor. I just didn't taste as much matcha as I like. They have the automated kiosk so it was easy and fast. I like the bright interior. Minus one star for not having inside table. So if you want to sit and enjoy the drinks with friends, it would be a little bit difficult. read more

This is one of my favorite boba shops in socal and I'm so happy this store opened up so I don't have to go over to union city for my fix! I have a sweet tooth and like my drinks 75% sweet here. I ordered a Ceylon milk tea with crème brûlée topping, 75% sweet, less ice. My boyfriend loves the frosties (the sour plum one being his favorite, but I think it's either seasonal or sold out); he ordered a strawberry frostie without the cheese foam, 100% sweet. Some other favorites of mine are the: Oreo brûlée boba milk (it is very sweet, you have been warned!), taro milk tea, and mango frostie. Pros: parking is easy, spacious/bright interior, drinks are consistently great (I don't order boba pearls anymore but I know they make it well) Cons: no tables, no public bathrooms. It's more of a grab and go place but they have bench style seating. read more

Drinks was overly sweet even if it is 50% sweet. Services need improvement! This plaza is across from the Lion supermarket plaza. There are varieties of boba drink in this plaza. Once enter you order from the kiosk and they don't accept cash! My drinks was order less than 50% sweetness but it was overly sweet to my taste buds so I ask them to add more ice and topping. I am willing to pay that extras for it. They don't seem to understand the customers request. Almost all the drinks are overly sweet even though I asked for 50 to 25% sweetness. I am not a fan of boba drinks so I can't gave my full thought of the best boba drinks in the Bay Area but they don't use fresh fruits on their drinks. My mango slushee is blend with mango powder. I disliked when I am paying $7-8 for a drinks that blend with artificial stuffs in it. Overall, I am not a fan of boba drinks and this place is a disappointment in terms of using low quality products and services was not great! read more

Very quick service, and the tea is delicious. The location has plenty of parking as well. Only downside is that they are card only.

I visited Sunright Tea Studio in Los Angeles a few years back and had been surprised by the quality compared to other chains like Happy Lemon and Gong Cha, so I was excited to hear that a location had opened nearby in Milpitas. This location doesn't disappoint and it's now the go-to - I particularly enjoy the grapefruit green tea and I've already been back several times in just a month. The boba is consistently cooked to the perfect QQ texture, and I particular enjoy the honey boba. One thing to note is that since the boba is already sweet, I find that I can go down one sweetness level compared to my orders from other shops. read more

Packed as hell. Some workers barely did jack. The orders for everyone were out of place. Never again.

This is my family's favorite boba place in South Bay- I think they are the most consistent in terms of boba texture and tea quality. I also don't mess around with boba places that have the small cups so the standard tall cup is much appreciated. The Milpitas location remains true to the standard of the other Sunnyvale location and I'm happy to be a regular here! (To earn points for your orders remember to use toast tab) read more

This is the newest location of Sunright in the bay area I think. I came this past weekend. And it was packed. Super busy. Lots of people ordering or waiting for their drinks. I ordered at one of their two self service kiosks. But I think you can order with a real live person at the counter as well. From the time I put in my order, I think I waited about 20 minutes for my drink. I received a text and walked up to the counter and just searched for my drink. No one greeted me or made sure I picked up the right order. I appreciate the no contact service, but also on the flip side, seems like anyone can just walk up and pick up any order. Anyways I was hoping they would still have their red envelopes special but they must've run out by the time I went. But I got two drinks - the strawberry jasmine tea with honey boba and the Sunright fruit tea with tea jelly. I've had the strawberry jasmine tea before and it's one of my favs. Pretty pronounced tea flavor and then it even has little bits of strawberries in the drink. Honey boba was ok - maybe a little too soft for my liking. For the fruit tea - it was pretty sweet and I selected 50% sweetness. Oh you can customize the sweetness level and the ice level for every drink. I think the 100% is their recommended sweetness level. I really enjoyed the tea jelly. I don't know if I could really taste the tea flavor. But texture wise, it was like the egg pudding but not as silky and it's in chunky pieces, not like little pellets like other types of jelly. Each drink is about $6. And it's a good size. Parking can be iffy. It's in a strip mall with a bunch of other shops and restaurants. read more

This Sunright location is the best out of all the ones I've visited, but I truly don't understand the hype. I've ordered the fruit teas, brown sugar drinks, and the matcha drinks - truly just ok. This location is new and I only drop by if I crave boba after grabbing my to-go order from Chick & Tea. It is a grab-and-go spot. I order online and am notified that my drink is ready within 5 minutes. Parking is decent in this plaza. Not bad to satisfy a boba craving if in the area, but don't go out of your way to visit otherwise. read more

I tried Kafka Blueberry at (almost) every NorCal location. Here are the results: Burlingame - 1st Sunnyvale - 2nd Union City - 3rd Milpitas - 4th Milpitas: Awful. Drinks poorly sealed and partially exploded. Super watery, tasted like just blueberry juice, no cheese foam at all. Took the longest to make despite being the least busy location I've been too (which honestly still wasn't that long because it took like 6 min but you know). read more

They do red bean ice very well. As close to a HK red bean ice I've had in the Bay Area. Drinks usually come out in roughly 3-5 mins.

Once this location opened up in Milpitas, it is now my number one go to boba tea spot. Beats many other places in terms of price and quality. There are two self-order kiosks an a QR code to order on your phone so ordering is quick and simple. Drinks get made extremely quickly and wait times are not that long. My personal favorite is the Mango Green Tea, which is fruity and creamy. Super great place and highly recommend to other boba fans. read more

There are two kiosks that you can order from. I usually see a line, but if moves quickly. I had the aged black tea and it was pretty good. I'm usually a big fan of the roasted oolong tea. When I went yesterday they were out of honey boba, but that was probably because it was at the end of the day. First time here and loved it. They have kiosks where you can order yourself or you can order ahead online. No fuss about it. Our drinks came out quickly and they were good!
