Gotta say this place is solid. 4.5 stars where TP Tea stole my 5 star yelp heart. I usually get their classic milk tea, oolong milk tea, matcha oolong, or ceylon milk tea. Always consistent, and always hits the spot whenever I visit 90 degree summer Milpitas from SF. read more

Had the Blueberry Frostie with cheese foam and cream pudding. Not bad. May opt for different toppings next time. Just wanted to try something new. Conveniently located next to several restaurants so it's easy to give yourself a cold treat after a meal. Being inside so many boba shops, they all start to look similar after a while. Clean, minimalistic interior. Staff are friendly. Kiosk ordering system. read more

A NEW Sunright Tea Studio location opened in Milpitas! It is located in a plaza with various Asian snack/tea bars and restaurants. It is spacious and well lit, the color scheme is warm toned, yellow and orange hues. The self order kiosk is to your right. You order at the kiosk and they will make and call out your order at the counter. They have a new flavor series for autumn. My friend got the plum tea, he loved it but I personally wasn't a fan. I love their mango drinks though, and the jelly in the smoothie is slurpable so the textures go well together. I recommend! read more

Skip the Xing fu tang line this place is way more worth it. Plus you get the iPad ordering so you don't even gotta talk to anyone. And they had the honkai star rail cardboard cutouts . Their sunright fruit tea is quite delectable if I do say so myself. If you like citrus that's a must try, and while I like the way they do all their fruit teas but don't sleep on the milk tea either. I follow this chain from Irvine to seattle to the bay and it's always good. 5 stars read more

Located in a plaza with 2 other boba places I believe? 1 of them is the newest one in town, xing fu tang. Like most boba places nowadays with the shortage of employees, you order through a kiosk. There are 2 and the line goes by quite fast. Came on a weekend after eating 707 in SF. There's always room for boba! Lol. I got their grapefruit tea 25 or 50 sweet, i forgot. But with grass jelly and light ice. Let me tell you! It was perfect and I believe its now my favorite thing to get from here! Not too sweet and Im saving myself calories from not eating boba. Clean store, and could sit on the yellow bench area while waiting for your drink. Quick service. read more

Aged black tea with crema and honey boba-- 5/5 : I got it at 50% sweet and it's perfectly sweetened! Honestly one of the best milk teas I've had in awhile. If you love a strong tea flavor this drink is for you! I always sip my milk tea but I drank it so fast and had ice leftover which is rare for me! It was so good!!! Boba perfectly chewy and crema wasn't too overpowering 2 self service kiosks and super fast service! read more

Been to multiple sunrights in the bay area as well as LA. It seems to be a modern classic among my friends and everytime I've gotten a drink here, ranging from fruit teas to milk teas, I've really enjoyed it. I had just finished a boba from 3Catea next door but my friend pressured me into getting a pumpkin spice tea latte since I go feral for PSL and it was limited time only. Solid drink per Sunright's usual quality! read more

I give one star because the guy did not say hi to me and ignored me when I came in. After a while, he told me to order myself on the kiosk. I told him I want him to help me. He wasn't happy but did it anyway. I have no tip for no customer service. I think that is fair! read more

We went during the day on Tuesday. Luckily it wasn't busy at the moment. We have had it at another location and liked it, so we decided to try this one. We got three drinks: Fruit Tea, Grapefruit Jasmine Tea and Mochi Matcha Red bean. They were all great! I was craving a fruit tea and it really did the job. We went late Sunday afternoon for the Honkai Star Rail collab and the line wasn't long at all, but they were out of coasters. I got Kafka's drink (blueberry with cheese foam and tea jelly), but will try to try Blade's drink (chocolate matcha) at some point before the collab ends. Almost everyone in the store was there for the collab - we even saw a Lumine cosplayer while waiting for our drinks :) (different game, i know, but still hoyoverse). The merch is cute but not sure what to do with them, especially the cardboard drink sleeves lol. Service was efficient - not super friendly but they've probably been swamped all day, so can't say I blame them! I quite liked the cheese foam and would come back to try their usuals. read more

I love that they have a sunright closer to me so I don't have to go all the way to sunnyvale. I highly recommend the ceylon milk tea w/ cream pudding and the jasmine mt with grass jelly but if you want something with no milk, their sunright fruit tea is super refreshing. I like this location the best since it's not as crowded, hopefully it stays that way! read more

Parking: - the parking lot was bustling even though I arrived 1 hour prior to closing. However, it was not difficult to find parking what with the high influx of customers coming in and out of the complex. Service: - there are 2 self-ordering machines located inside by the entrance which allowed for little to no contact with the employees. Ambiance: - very spacious, modern, and high-tech. Drinks: - I got the grapefruit jasmine tea at 50% sweetness and it was still too sweet. It tasted like sugar and I could not taste the grapefruit at all. However, my friend said it was just perfect, though keep in mind he has a sweet tooth. In the future, I would order any drink at 25% sweetness. Restroom: - It was out of service :( read more

This is our favorite tea shop. We have been coming here at least two of three times a week. The line can get super long, however it's doesn't take that long to get the tea once the order is made. The tea is delicious everytime. What we like is the consistency of the process and the quality of the drink. The ordering process is also very efficient, we thought. Customers order drinks using a kiosk and pay by themselves. The system is very well designed and so easy to use. The place is cleaned, there are no tables. However, there are long cubicles that customers can sit and wait for their drinks. read more

I recently ordered 23 drinks via DoorDash from Sunright, and while the drinks arrived packed in two boxes, not a single straw was included! I tried calling Sunright to see how they could "make things right," but the phone just kept ringing and eventually went to a busy tone. When I attempted to check their DoorDash listing again, it was abruptly turned off. To salvage the situation, I had to rush to a nearby boba shop, buy more drinks, and purchase 23 straws to make up for Sunright's glaring mistake. For a $200+ order, I expected the whole "kit and caboodle," not a "sip and struggle." Sunright, your service left me high and dry--next time, don't leave your customers to "suck it up" on their own! read more

Milk tea was pretty good and not overwhelming sweet at 50% sweetness. I was able to finish one in a setting, which usually doesn't happen for me. There's not a lot of seating, especially for hangouts. They have tiered stage seating. Also, they offer drinks but don't have bathrooms available for even customers. The closest bathroom I found was at Walgreens. Otherwise, the place is very clean and minimalistic. Would stop by for a quick grab and go. read more

Sunright Tea Studio has become one of my favorite boba places in the area. I like how they have an order kiosk so you can order on the machine rather than talking to a cashier. The bright yellow walls and neon signs make great photo ops to showcase your delicious drinks. This location offers the same quality and great service as the one in Sunnyvale, and it is less busy! I will say there is no place to sit down, so you have to take your drink on the go. My go-to drink is their fruit tea with less ice and 75% sweetness. It's very refreshing. Overall, I would stop by this location if you get the chance. read more

I got the sunright boba milk tea and it was so good. I love that they had a strong tea flavor, which reminded me of milk tea in Taiwan. I would definitely be back if I'm in Milpitas. read more

The blended oreo drink and matcha latte one was good and I'd def come get those again. Service and ordering was quick and easy with the machines. Just moderately pricey. Roomy enough to wait around in the store tool. Boba was great too in texture and sweetness. The grape drink was pretty bad with the grape skin in it though. Wish we never got that one as we've never thrown a tea drink out before until today. Pretty bad texture. 8/10, would come again and would recommend to a friend. read more

Sunright Tea is a great addition to Milpitas and this Taiwanese chain is starting to sprout up all across the Bay Area. I love that you can mobile order for pickup. They offer a good variety of regular teas, milk teas, fruit teas, cheese foam drinks, frosties, and a KIDs menu. They sure know how to get a kid hooked early. My son was so excited when he saw a kid's Oreo chocolate boba drink on the menu. Their menu also features recommended sweetness levels. It's nice to customize your drink's sweetness, ice, and toppings to ensure you receive the perfect drink. Some of the drinks I've ordered from here include the matcha tea, strawberry matcha, Ceylon milk tea with fresh taro, fresh taro frostie, and the Sunright fruit tea. I really enjoy their fresh taro in my milky drinks. The interior is bright and inviting but this is not really the place for you to go to hang out. There are no tables and the interior is small. There is a small bench area though. You can also buy instant boba if you are the type to never be without boba. P.S. Don't forget to shake your drink 17 before drinking (like it says on the wall). read more

My favorite drinks from here so far are definitely the Yakult teas. The recommended sweetness for these are 100% but I like to go for 25% or even no sugar if you like your drinks less sweet. Give the Grapefruit Yakult a try if you want something refreshing! Order at the self-ordering kiosks and pick up your drink. There's limited seating and plenty of parking here, but it's better as a "grab and go" boba spot. In my experience, service is pretty fast even when there's a few people in line. I usually am in and out of here in less than 10 minutes. read more

So happy this location opened! Now I don't need to drive to Sunnyvale. They have some of the best milk tea/special tea drinks in the bay. This location is less busy than the Sunnyvale one which is a plus. You can either order ahead or at the kiosk. I ordered the crème brûlée boba milk for $5.95. They only have one drink size. You can choose sweetness and ice level. I went with 25% sweetness which was great. My drink came out within 5 minutes. Excited to try other flavors! read more

Was very happy to find out Sunright was opening in Milpitas! I've tried it in socal and the one in sunnyvale and usually it's pretty good. PARKING - there should be a decent amount of easy parking as it's in a smaller strip mall. ORDERING - I ordered online for pick up, it says 10-15 minutes but was ready in 5 minutes, no issues picking up and ordering. FOOD - I got the Roasted Oolong with Boba. Their roasted oolong is more similar to Feng Cha, not like the roasted oolong at Teaspoon. I can't quite explain it but it has a more milk looking color and the flavor is a bit different. now that I think about it, I wonder if it's because they use different sugar...I think they use cane sugar because on the website you can change it to honey. I get 75% sweetness and it's a good amount for me since their tea is a little strong so it might be bitter w/o that sweetness. They have boba and honey boba, boba is more of the traditional black, large boba with a brown sugar flavor. The honey boba is a very light brown color and I haven't had it but I like the boba. It's chewy and still bouncy/soft but better than the ones I had in Sunnyvale! Overall, a solid choice and lots of options for everyone that wants to order. read more

I wait all year for the peach jasmine tea to come back. It is one of my favorite drinks ever, it's really refreshing on a hot day and not too sweet. I like that you can order through an app so it'll be ready by the time you get there and not have to interact with anyone if you don't feel like it. Also a very spacious place to hang with friends, there has always been seating every time I've been. read more

Woohoo! Sunright Tea Studio in Milpitas! A welcomed addition in the same plaza as RawASF. I was pleasantly surprised to see Sunright Tea Studio had built a third location in Northern California. There is still a tad bit of construction at the storefront but there is still plenty of parking in the plaza. The first thing you notice is how bright and spacious the interior is. Much more spacious than the Sunnyvale location. There are two self ordering kiosks on the wall and you can pick up your drinks when they're ready. You can also order ahead on Toast to skip the wait. On a Saturday evening, I was pleasantly surprised to see only one other party as I'm familiar with having to wait up to 30 minutes at Sunnyvale. I noticed one of my drinks did not have honey boba and the employees there were quick to fix it. They offered me to keep the drink without the honey boba (bonus!) and quickly remade my drink. I appreciated the customer service and friendliness of the staff. I got the taro milk tea with honey boba. I like the freshness of the taro paste and also love the richness of their tea flavor here. Boba has always been perfectly cooked at every location I've been to and this was no different. Overall, I am thrilled (although my wallet might not be) to have this location nearby. I no longer have to drive all the way to Sunnyvale to get my Sunright fix! I'll most definitely be back! read more

Again, I feel so blessed to have all these great food chains in my hometown. Before coming here, my favorite boba spot was Teasociety, but after trying my go to Jasmine Milk Tea from Sunright, they have been knocked out from #1 favorite boba spot. I've tried their matcha milk tea as well, and I liked it, just not as much as the Jasmine. They use real tea, so it's very flavorful and clean tasting. I highly recommend stopping by to try out their drinks. Yayyy!!! There's one even closer to San Jose, CA~ when my Yelp stats for year of end appeared... they told me "we can tell you are a boba lover" XD and it seems like you can tell too since I reviewed each Sunright Tea Studio back to back...cause it means I've visited each one LOL Plaza parking is available Small dine-in area and not sure they're currently allowing it, it's essentially bench seating and there are no tables either Cream Pudding Milk Tea is my favorite~ 100% sweet is their recommendation for sugar level too, subtle and not overly sweet Sunright Boba Milk Tea is also two thumbs up So happy you are closer to me now~ see you soon read more

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon. There were customers already waiting for their drinks. We ordered in person on the self ordering screen. Waited a few mins, they can text you and let you know your order number. Got the drinks but they added milk to one of the drinks that was only tea so they remade the 3rd drink. Staff was friendly. We got our usual orders that we usually get at the Sunnyvale location: frostie taro and white peach oolong tea. It seems like it is not consistent with the Sunnyvale location in terms of sweetness and tea and taro flavor. At Sunnyvale I ordered probably at least 20 times since they have opened and they are always always consistent with their drinks! My taro frostie tastes watered down..and my husband's tea had no tea flavor much. Yes we both got it at 75% sweet but even then at Sunnyvale it was just the right hint of everything. Oh well... disappointed but wanted to give this place a try. I'm not sure yet if I will give this Milpitas location another try .... Heard it was not busy at all when they opened. Could be because they are new but sorry to say the Sunnyvale location has a line right at opening until closing, even until now. read more

So excited to see this is opening in Milpitas!!!! All the other Bay Area locations are far and in between. This location is located next to RawASF and TK Noodle. I will definitely be a regular here!
