Yelp won't let me give 0/5 Rating. STAY AWAY!!! REFUSE TO HAVE CAR TOWED HERE!!! Installed a fuel pump after having my car towed by AAA. Yes, the "preferred" AAA repair shop gets a zero rating. I started driving home and immediately noticed that the gasoline light was on. I called ON THE WAY home and they told me to "save the receipt" and make sure that I refilled the tank around 200 miles. I needed my car so I drove home. But I regret that decision now. I should have gone straight back. The interior of my Jeep got wet so the receipt was ruined. Like I see from another review - they retain no records so my receipt was the only proof I had that they installed a "defective" fuel pump. I suspect this happens at this place often. Now they want me to pay for another one. I can't afford it even if I was willing to give this awful place more money. read more

I took my sons car there when 3 other places in Norwalk didn't want to deal with it. Bobby diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate for repair. It was a very big job he he completed with with full satisfaction and honesty. Will be going back for my car fixes from now on. A+++ read more

These guys suck. I went a few months and had two cars fixed. The first one required regular service and they told me I needed a new timing belt. It's my fault that I didn't remember, but I later found out that the belt had been replaced 20K miles earlier. I also had a second car fixed (I obviously didn't know about the timing belt issue. They replaced a fuel pump and just a month or so later I smelled gas. I took it back, left it all day and when I called to check the status, they told me that the head mechanic wasn't in and I should bring it back. I brought it back twice, and each time I got the same excuse. Unfortunately, this is a big safety issue and these jerks don't seem to show any sense of urgency. I urge everyone not to consider using these guys! read more

Do not go here unless you want to pay $100 for a $29 oil change. I am not sure if it's because I am a woman that they took advantage, or if they are equal opportunity rip off artists and would have overcharged my husband too. That's what I get for not researching and confirming the price before I brought the car in. Not only was I grossly overcharged, but I made a morning appointment and was told it would about half an hour. Ended up sitting around for quite a while while they serviced some other cars. I'm updating my review to 5 stars. It's been a couple weeks and my truck is still running great. Regarding the price (which wasn't too bad in the first place) I have learned that Norwalk is an expensive town so I am grateful for the work that I paid for, it could have been a lot worse considering I was in dire need of help. They did not take advantage of my situation, instead worked with me to fix the most severe issues. I let the tow truck bring me here instead of Midas. What a horrible mistake. Bobby proceeded to charge me $1,000 for a rebuilt air conditioner compressor instead of installing a new one. These guys are con artists. Stay away from them. read more

These guys are terrible!!! Poor customer service, and they broke all the new parts in my car that were repaired last year after I decided that I was going to put in a new engine instead of buying a new car, or trading it in!!!!! They are all degenerates and their business should be shut down completely!!!! read more

Brought my Honda accord here because of some shaking at high speeds. I suspected I needed a wheel balance, but I knew it could've been a few things. Bobby, Dennis, and Randall were friendly and got me right in because I don't have another vehicle. Very cool. A quick check confirmed the tire balance was needed, and I was out of there in a jiffy. They recommended I keep an eye on it, and get new rotors the next time I get a brake job. Very efficient, kind, and didn't feel pressure to have to get more work done. I saw them dealing with other customers and they were friendly, courteous, and fair. They are a well established business with a good relationship with the local community. read more

Our car broke down and we took it to this place for a diagnostic check. Once they figured out what was wrong we decided to have the car towed our normal mechanic. They simply wouldn't let us have it. Gave us a line about the mechanic being gone and said the engine was taken appart. they claimed the owner was on his honeymoon... until we threatened to call the cops at which point "he just got off the plane right now." as of now they still have it and have succeeded in forcing my father to allow them to do the repairs. I wouldn't trust a thing they say and the people you have to deal with are very scummy (there is no better way to say it). Also we did speek to the cops at one point and they said that they have received several complaints about this place already. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! These guys completely tried to rip us off. We had our truck in for a repair and when we went to pick it up the front passenger tire was slashed. When we asked them what happened they denied it and said it was our problem. I had to threaten to call the better business bureau and finally the police to get the guy to put a new tire on the truck. He also laughed at us when we said we weren't paying for the new tire (which was used). I will NEVER go back and will tell all of my neighbors and friends about my experience, TERRIBLE! read more

I called 06/27/11 for an estimate for a new alternator in my car. "Bobby" called back a few minutes later with an estimate of $300 (1.6L)-$350 (2.0L), so after work that evening, around 7:30 p.m. I dropped off the car, making note that I wanted a call with an estimate before work was done. A different employee called the following morning and gave me an estimate of at least $450. I told him Bobby's estimate and that I was not interested in getting the work done at that additional expense. Bobby called a few minutes later and said he would do the work at the promised price, a "special rate." He said the work would likely be done that evening. I called when I got off work that evening and whoever answered the phone told me it was not ready so I agreed to pick it up after work the following day. I called again that morning, and told them I would be there around 7:30 p.m. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was ready and was within the price range. However, as I went to leave I noticed damage on my front passenger bumper that was not there before I dropped it off. (I know it was not there because I had to jump the car to bring it to the shop so I had a good view of the front end and I just had a new front end put on the vehicle so I notice damage.) I photographed this damage in the business' parking lot. There were three men working near another vehicle at the shop but they were drinking beer and talking amongst each other so I chose not to approach them. Instead, I called the business and asked that they have Bobby call me first thing the next morning. He did not call by 11 a.m., so I called him. And he first off lied to me and said he told me my car was ready in advance and that I chose to leave it there an additional day, which left it at risk to further damage. Then he said that I needed to file a claim through my insurance because "what happened in the parking lot is not their fault." But, having seen the employees of this business in action, drinking beer outside the shop while working on a vehicle, I have a strong doubt as to the care they take with vehicles. Moreover I did further research and discovered I am not the first person this has happened to. I understand I signed a receipt which states "you are not responsible for loss or damage to vehicle... or any cause beyond your control" but I say with confidence I do not believe they took proper measures to ensure the safety of my vehicle. read more

If I have registered yelp last year. I wouldn't wait until now to post my review with regards to the Sunoco services , which is the worse service I ever had last year, I went to there to repair the audio sound system and they couldn't find any problem , but still charge me 98$ service fee. and their attitude is extremely rude when I ask them the reason why. they say their test equipment doesn't fit my Mitsubishi glant system. so they cant' do anything. WTF. they did nothing but still charge me the fee and meanwhile there was another angry guy came in the argued with them for the repair fee. ....... i would not go that horrible place for anything forever read more

KEEP AWAY!!! Got my engine light checked from them , they are charged me double of what my dealership finally took to fix the issue eventually! They kept me running around for 3 days with one of the mechanisms being so rude as to ask me to Shut Up and fill a form when I complained of the shoddy work they had done with the issue!! The guy at the workshop asked me for a receipt from the work I had got done the previous day and would not entertain me till I got the reciept. Apparently he told me they send all their copies to Sunoco and dont retain anything with them!! Anyways I left the car with them and they did not even touch it!! read more
