When I started my search for a limo from the airport to the hotel I was consistently finding rates of over $100; Angie beat that price. She provided a Lincoln Town Car for about the same rate that most services wanted for a multi-stop van. Keith was our driver for three- of four trips they provided. He was one unique individual - WOW! He was a trip all by himself. The car was spotless. He had fresh bottles of cold water. He was entertaining and informative. And Angie herself picked us up for the last ride. She's a special lady. We had a number of bumps and hurdles - and all were overcome simply and easily. We had to change times, destinations, and added a separate trip at an odd time when our ship was delayed in port. The ship delay prevented us from making our plane flight home so we had to schedule an unexpected stay at the hotel, a ride from the cruise port to the hotel, and change our original ship-to-airport shuttle to accommodate the extra night in Baltimore. She got back to us in less than 24 hours with trip plan ideas. When we weren't excited about those she gave us time to think and come back with another idea. By the time we came back we had an entirely new idea but we had to be in Buford, GA on NYE for a wedding. Who even knows where Buford, GA is?! Jocelyn did and she made a trip itinerary happen that truly fit our needs, from location to budget to rental car! We chose to go on a relaxing nature-filled, skii/tubing trip in the mountains of NC. We appreciated her patience and flexibility- late calls, emails all day with questions....she always responded with practical and reassuring advice. She also provided all of the reviews we needed to make a informed decision. Jocelyn planned our entire trip from start to finish. She didn't book our activities because we wanted to wait until we arrived to decide but she would've if we asked! The early morning of our trip we had trouble checking into our flight online. We shot her an email at 4am, not expecting a response but more so to inform her for later. She emailed back almost immediately. The site finally let us check in but said she would handle our return flights and she did! Does she ever sleep? Talk about customer service! Our trip was filled with lots of time to reflect, relax, and enjoy one another's company- just what we wanted. The Inn Jocelyn chose for us was perfect. It was 7 minutes from snow tubing, 5 minutes from the local grocery store (I LOVED grocery shopping for the cabin) and the Inn was surrounded by nothing but quiet and nature. We traveled to the town during 'off peak' season which for some may have been a bummer but for us and our pre-NYE stay, it was perfect. We even made friends with the local wine bar owner! My wife was scheduled to arrive at BWI from L.A. last Friday evening and needed to get to her hotel…read morein Arlington. I called several car services, shuttles and taxis trying to find that desired combination of the most reliable, safe and affordable. I considered Uber as well but for her first time in an unfamiliar city, I wanted to keep her from having to juggle bags, laptop and backpack while using a cell phone - plus I would feel better if there was a ride already waiting as she exited the terminal. With only a handful of YELP reviews, I was hesitant about using SAFE RIDE. I phoned other companies first. Some were cordial but not very friendly. A few that were warmer were insanely overpriced. After speaking with Bacar, he won me over with his kind demeanor and his understanding of my concern for my wife. He quoted me a fair and reasonable rate and assured me she would be well taken care of with his drivers. He wasn't pushing to sell me anything, just telling me how they work. I got a good vibe from him so I booked the ride. Now that she's back home, I can say that my instincts were good. When she exited the terminal, the easily identified shuttle was waiting. Her driver, Ousmand was kind and helpful and got her safely to her Arlington hotel sooner than expected. Her ride back to BWI a few days later was also good (for the most part). The plan was for a 9am hotel pickup to make a 12pm flight however a few minutes before 9, Bacar called her to advise he was going to be delayed a half hour. This was not well received by her as she likes the stress-free assurance of getting to airports early. When traveling for business, her company arranges all ground and air transportation and the limo service is always early for her pickups so this delay was a first for her. Bacar knows the region and traffic patterns very well so once he arrived at around 9:35am, he apologized and assured her she would get to BWI in plenty of time to check in and board. They got there safely about 50 minutes later. She got to the Delta gate about an hour before departure so while she was a bit nervous about the 35 minute delay, it all worked out. She told me that Ousmand and Bacar were lovely men and they had pleasant conversations during the rides. At the end of the day, I was glad she was in good hands especially in a city she visited for the first time. There's a chance we might be headed back to D.C. this summer. If so, I will absolutely use SAFE RIDE again. Thanks Bacar!

He offered to hook up our devices for music on the drive and even provided car chargers, as it was a 30 minute drive to start our 5 stops for the day. He was flexible when we decided to skip one winery and do another and was always polite opening the door for us. He was personable and friendly, but not intrusive in our conversation. All in all, it was a fantastic day and should I end up in the DC area again I wouldn't hesitate in using Express Transportation again. It would not come close to fitting in my normal size parking spaces at work and home (I live and work in a Washington DC which parking space is always limited). I looked at the customer service agent in disbelief. He was not kidding. I had to wait over an hour for him to bring a car from another location...and he was not happy to have to do it. He was one of those "used car salesmen" types...sickeningly friendly - so insincere. 2. The car I was given seemed ok but neither he nor i noticed what had to have been a hairline crack in the back windshield because when, a couple of days later, I shut the door and stepped on the brake to start the car (I had not yet touched the button to start the car, I had only stepped on the brake), the slight motion shattered the entirety of the back windshield. It was shocking to say the least. I returned the car and he refused to even speak to me about it, saying it was my fault. My insurance was charged WAY TOO MUCH for the windshield - over $700 - and I had to pay a $250 deductible. They actually made money on it!

I was so grateful and happy to compensate him for returning my card. The driver had seen it before another date got and hoped I would call! From now on, when I'm in DC I'm always calling Ambassador!
