I went there for three times, taking menu(June 24), ordering Hunan Chicken($8.97 June 26), and ordering shrimps & chicken with mixed vegetables($12.98 June 27). I paid by cash. I believed the silbing cashiers are American Born Chinese, they said they spoke a few Chinese, well, not a big deal. In term of prices, quantity, and quality, those food were fine and acceptable, you can't compare them to the Chinese food in China and northern Dallas, Planto. I got a combination fried rice, Mongolian beef, crab Rangoon, and barbecue spareribs. Now the spare ribs are cut up pieces of meat it's not an actual piece of rib. We really enjoyed all of the food I'm originally from St. Louis so Chinese food is a huge difference in St. Louis and anywhere else but this actually helped me With my craving. A great place to eat. Terrific service, and ambience. I had eggrolls, sushi and chicken Ramen. The eggrolls and sushi was spot on a slight ding for the Ramen, due to the flavorless chicken. First time going to SWok! The location was very easy to find, and very convenient for me to get too. Inside it was very spacious, booths and tables available. Good for lunch time, or small parties only. Service was great, quick on prep time. Portion sizes are good, and the prices are very reasonable. A good spot to order To-Go meals. My concern was that the quality of the food was pretty norm for Chinese fast-food in Dallas. I ordered the Orange Chicken with steamed rice. Though it was a decent meal for my first time going. Having Chinese food delivered to your hotel room can be hit and miss. There have been too many times when I had big hopes only to have them dashed. Every once in awhile, I encounter a rare gem. After all, how hard is it to masterfully execute some wings and egg rolls? Maybe masterful is too strong a word. Nevertheless, the wings, egg rolls, and spring rolls exceeded my expectations and then some. Another noteworthy tidbit--the orange chicken was not only tasty, but we were assaulted with piles of chicken. I know the term "piles" may have a negative connotation for some but I thought it was more fitting than "lots," and I didn't want to intimidate anyone with big words like "lots and lots." The only downside to our order was the lo mein. It was good, but it wasn't great. In comparison to the (let me break out some impressive vocabulary) yummy wings, rolls, and citrusy chicken, it was merely passable. Color me impressed. She kept repeating, "What else you want?!" I could visually tell she was done with the person on the phone. When she was done, she looked over to me and went, "WHAT YOU WANT?!" Ordered szechuan chicken with lo mein and orange chicken with lo mein. Took 50 minutes for them to deliver food less than 5 miles away. The packaging was very careful, which I appreciate. Orange chicken, orange color and flavor weren't there. Lo mein greasy and not stir-fried properly. Szechuan chicken not spicy and little brown sauce that didn't coat the veggies enough. Judging from the bad customer service and minor flavor, I am lenient on Chinese but the Express Wok and Rice Wok places with the cheaper food is better. read more

Went in to get my son some orange chicken and ended up ordering about 20.00 worth of food. When the order was ready he asked for some sweet and sour sauce, she said .80. I asked why didn't you say this when we first ordered ? She just starred at me. I told her all I had was a credit card and she still starred. I told her I'd have to pay for it on credit. She pointed to her hand written sign that said 5.00 minimum purchase on credit card payments. I told her that made no sense at this point. My wife and I were browsing businesses in our area looking for someone who delivers because we were being EXTRA lazy. We came across Sunny wok. We have passed by this place before many times and I had always wanted to try it. So we ordered a few things, shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli and Kung Pao chicken, all in large portions. I was really surprised at how fast the delivery was, about 20 mins. And even more so with how good the food was! Usually at a Chinese restaurant there's at least ONE thing that's suspect, at least in my personal experience. But Sunny woks was surprisingly fresh and tasty.
