My friend and I love trying new nail places, and have had amazing experiences up until this point. I read the plethora of bad reviews here, but thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt- please learn from my mistake! This place is a really gross hole in the wall. We were uncomfortable with the cleanliness, even the tools and they used were questionable. Another issue I had was their gel selection seems averagely sized, however they don't actually have all of the colors they advertise. The worst part of it all was how my nails actually came out. I had previously gotten a full set & all I wanted was a full and to keep the shape. Unfortunately for me the shape was completely butchered. They look so horrible I could cry (will post photo below). No matter how many times I asked the lady to fix it they still just looked terrible. I told the owner who works the counter that I was unhappy with them and he told me he's sorry and next time a different girl can do my nails.... still made me pay the full amount!! I was looking on Yelp for nail salons near me, and realized that I have been here before! Promising! Originally, I came here on Monday and had Ivy do my full set almond point nails! She did an amazing job. I loved the color and the shape, everything! Tuesday, I had already lost a nail (Saddest of days). Wednesday AM I went back and Ivy was busy, but someone else had fixed it for me. Wednesday PM I had lost 3 more nails (even sadder of days). Thursday AM I went back and Ivy was not there, but another lady fixed my nails for me! Thursday PM As of right now I still have all of my nails, but I am fearful that I will lose more before the weekend is over. 6 out of 10 Original nails left.. I've been coming here for couple of years when I have time to pamper myself and I never had this horrible experience in customer service. I came in to get my nails done because as you can see on my before pictures it needed to get done. I came in wanting a specific look to my nails and the lady that they put me with looked like she hated her life and hated her job. But I still wanted to give her a chance. I TRIED to show her a picture of what I wanted and she said before I could even show her, "GO PICK A COLOR ON THE TABLE!! YOU NEED TO PICK.. GO GO". I want what I want like the picture so I went back to her and said I wanted the my nails to look like this picture.. once again she shooed me away to pick a fucking color at the table but only this time she followed me to the color selections and I said no I want something like this.. basically what I'm saying how the fuck do I get this look? Like seriously?!?! She started to repeat herself to pick a color and the look she gave me, the tone, and her attitude I had enough!!!!! I said, "OKAY, Stop being mean and rude!!! If you can't be nice and help me then I'm leaving!!!" Literally said it loud enough so it can get it into her thick skull of how horrible she's treating me and so the other ladies/ customers can hear me. Like where is the good customer service?!?! I've been nothing but nice and smiley since I walked through those doors and I've been coming here for a couple of years now and I haven't seen the reviews in such a long time but maybe I should start doing that from now on! Their work is ok. Hit and miss every time, last time I was there asked for no hot wax treatment, they did it anyways, I wasn't looking for any sort of discount I just don't like it. I've gone a few times over this past year, and every time their air conditioning is "broken" makes it's uncomfortably warm sitting there for up to 2 hours, just one of those things where you no they are not being truthful so I don't appreciate it as a client, only reason I know is because the shop next store wasn't having AC issues , and they are all connected. Horrible place. I paid $18 for a pedicure which should of included the pedicure but instead she just trimmed and painted my nails and was done. I complained afterwards and she stated that they don't do any cuticle cutting on the sides. I had my nails done as well. The lady insisted I get acrylic. I had to tell her multiple times that I didn't want acrylic. She finally let it go and gave me the gel nails I wanted. My sister got her nails done and the lady took it upon herself to pick her shape and design. My sister had asked for her nails to be all white and one silver. The lady did them all white and she added a crooked silver to the top with one red bow on one nail. When she complained about the design the lady seemed upset about her complaining. She removed the red bow but left the sloppy silver tip. A kid would of done a better job at a silver tip than she did. This is besides the fact that this was not the design that was asked and that she rounded her nails instead of keeping the shape that my sister wanted. Never setting foot there again! read more

Came here despite all the bad reviews, left semi disappointed. The lady who did my pedicure was Mia, the whole time she seemed annoyed and rushed. I got the $35 pedicure which was supposed to be more work but it was all shortcut work. She never tried to clean around my nails or even cut any cuticles around, and her paint job was terrible. I used to go here after work and it was always mediocre. It was pretty decent for the amount you pay. Today was a different story. I usually go get my nails done at a Japanese nail art place, but since I was on a budget, I came here instead. I sat down and the lady doing my manicure looked at my hand and asked if I got "powder" in my nails since my previous gel was on pretty thick. I immediately said no. She kept asking me if I got "powder" and I kept saying no. She had a confused look on her face but continued examining my nails. I got a little confused when she took out the drill, but I assumed she knew what she was doing (normally they file my nail down before soaking in acetone and I thought this was what she was doing). She started to drill all the way down to my bare nail and she got even more confused as she was searching for the acrylic under it all. She then realized that she made a mistake and blamed me saying that I said it was "powder". WRONG! I never said there was "powder". She immediately rushed through the acetone and foil leaving it on only for five minutes before trying to scrape it off. It wouldn't come off, so she peeled them off one by one! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TAKE OFF YOUR GEL!!!! You are supposed to let it soak in acetone and foil for 10 minutes at the least prior to gently filing it off! The acetone is supposed to lift the gel off your nails so that it makes it easier to remove. She kept peeling away and my nails were completely ruined!!! My nails were thin already and she made them worse! They were all patchy and thin after she was done! What made me even more mad was the quality of the manicure! It was so horrible! Now I know to never go back to that manicurist! She was obviously in a hurry and didn't care about the service she was giving! I have come here atleast 5 times and had good manicures with other technicians... But this one had no idea what she was doing. read more

I went here for the first time last weekend with a friend. We both got gel manicures. My nails are lasting pretty well, but my experience was not the best. I do not recall her name, but I believe it started with an "L." She was working on my nails, sniffling the whole time, looked rather flush in the face, and at one point she actually pulled a little closer to my hands and proceeded to COUGH on my hands. She made no attempt at covering her cough, nor did she acknowledge what she just did. I FELT her cough on my hands. My friend witnessed it happen too and it was just so gross. On two of my nails, the coats are not even. It is disappointing, but that probably is not noticeable to others. I really do not think I will be back. This place is AMAZING!! The Salon: Very Clean, Modern, and has A/C (its summer so trust me I enjoyed the cool air). They also played popular music throughout the salon so that was a plus! The Employees: The owner is a younger guy who is super nice and very attentive. He made sure I was happy and comfortable throughout my visit, he even brought me a bottle of water. The nail technicians were younger girls and they were so sweet and never pushed me to add anything extra. They both did an excellent job. Experience: I am sooo glad I decided to check this place out! They didn't file her toes before doing polish so it was completely crooked and another lady came to fix it and instead of starting over, she just cut and filed her toes after polish was already on it 2. she had acrylics on and wanted a fil w same shape and everything & the lady was like I'm just gonna take your nail off and do natural. My friend said she wanted fake nails and Tina argued w her and said she would put new acrylic on. Tina did not put new acrylic nails on, she only put powder over and When my friend asked her again for fake nails, Tina said no again!!! So none of her nails look the same at all and they're all really short. 3. We go to pay and we tell the guy what happened & the lady (Tina) comes up and starts arguing telling the guy it's pointless what My friend wanted bc it was going to be short anyways. We were like it doesn't matter what you thought. this isn't what I asked for and my nails are all different. The owner gave her a total of SEVEN dollars off... from a business standpoint for a customer to be this unhappy (and showed him how her nails look like shit) that's pretty unfortunate that you would even make me pay that much (or pay in general) & he said it's against the law and the girls need to be paid. There is no justification to pay for a service you're not happy with. They should have not made her pay or redone her nails how she asked for them. Giving one star because you can't give zero. Their customer service is horrible the owner is rude he has ladies working there that do not know how to do nails. Also if you come to him with a concern about the quality of your nails he will turn it around and make it your fault. He's done it to me and I've witnessed him do it to another woman who was being very calm but he just couldn't contain himself, he was loud and cursing at her while her son was next to her. This was my first visit here. I have to say the Deluxe Pedicure ($30) was fantastic! For the price it's was great! The nail tech took her time and made my toes and feet feel good and smooth. It's was relaxing! I also got a refill on my pink and whites and it was good too. I did have to go back to get more Gel applied since it came off, and to be honest they really shouldn't be charging an extra $5 just to have gel coating applied to ur pink and whites since normally that is a part of paying the higher price for pink and whites and the fact that it comes off so easily was the only thing I didn't like. If the are gonna charge for the Gel they need a higher quality Gel. Tip: if you get gel coating don't let them rush u off. Make sure it drys completely before leaving. Last thing I got was a hair cut. Not to bad for just $25 , which included the straightening but to be honest it seemed like she was a little scared to mess with my very long hair. I did get layers put in and I was in real need to just get a trim to get rid of my split ends and to shorten my hair a little, which turned out nice. Over all I had a relaxing experience and my total price for all my services was reasonable. I paid total before tips $95 for a deluxe spa pedicure, pink and white refills with designs in both my hands and feet, and a hair cut and straightening. Not to shabby! Lol Only other thing I didn't like was my design I did have to tell them to redo it. For some reason it seemed like not everyone there knows how to do a real hand painted design. They almost put stickers on me if I would have let them. So at the end I got a some what better design but not what I was expecting. This place is large and the nail techs are beyond nice and helpful! The owner greeted us and provided everyone in the salon with a water bottle and a magazine. What's great about this place is they actually tell you how much different things cost. They have a pedicure list on their nail carts and ask you wish one you'd like and it has prices on it. I recently moved to Anaheim and was looking for a new nail salon to become my regular place. I went to a couple that were on Yelp that were closer to my house but wasn't happy with them. I decided to try S&P and I'm happy I did. It's a few miles from my house, so not too far, and the service was so much better than the other places I've tried in the area. I like to have my fingers and toes match so I liked that they had sets already picked out to accommodate that. I asked for a gel manicure and a pedicure and was seated right away even though it was a Saturday. Yen, the woman who did my toes, was very nice and didn't hurt me when she had to deal with my extra skin around my big toes. I normally have to deal with technicians who don't know how to deal with it. Needless to say, I was thrilled that she did it without an issue! Lilly did my manicure and I really liked her. I don't always have time to make it every two weeks and they never complain about how much maintenance they have to do. Very happy with my experiences here. I've been to three different nail techs here for my acrylics and all were great, but Tiffany did the best job on me and was such a sweetheart, talking to me and making sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. She told me she has been doing nails for 15 years, and it sure showed in her work! She did not pressure me into getting designs or gel polish(I'm a hairstylist, so I cannot do either, as they just don't last), which I appreciated greatly. Every experience I've had here has been very clean, of good quality, and up to State Board regulations. Wonderful shop for a decent price! I will absolutely be back. read more
