Kevin was really patient and made sure to understand what haircut style I wanted. The customer service was great here, and I felt really comfortable. I asked for a trim, and he cut my hair perfectly. The bangs turned out just as I had hoped and my hair length was only trimmed by a bit (perfect!) The haircut aside, I really liked the customer service. I wasn't rushed and I didn't feel like I had to worry about any hair mishaps. Kevin gave me great advice to keep my locks healthy and my hair color vivid. What more can you ask for?! " Beauty is Pain " was my mantra as I gripped the table I was laying on. The lady chatted in a foreign language to a co-worker, she was undoubtedly telling her about how hairy I was. My eyes waters as she waxed, plucked, and trimmed my eyebrows - It was brutal. At one point her finger was literally in my eye. This lady was relentless; She could really care less about my comfort. However for 6$ it's no bullshit, just straight to business. She raised the mirror to my face " very clean! " she proclaimed. Dizzy, and feeling like I just got the shit kicked out of me I managed refocus my vision long enough to look at my reflection - what do you know she was right, very clean indeed! My skin felt like it was burning but even still I couldn't deny what a good job she had done. As I left she urged me to tell friends and to come back. She also let me know that they do hair cuts for only 12$!! I felt like saying " On a cold day in hell lady! " but I smiled and nodded politely. I will be back for a wax, or maybe even to get my nails done, because lets face it I'm broke...but a hair cut ... never. Aw, man.. i was hoping i'd be first for Diva's. This place rules. I was across the street from Diva's taking care of some other errands today. I needed a haircut and I saw the sign for $8 mens haircuts. Immediately my skin crawled with what might happen with an 8 dollar haircut, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. The place was completely dead, I got a seat, and Kevin cut my hair. This was a scissors cut, it took about 15 minutes, Keven was really nice and we had a long talk about the OC. All around cool guy. I can't tell the difference between my 50 dollar Profile hair cut and my 8 dollar Diva's haircut. In all honesty, I'm happier with the job that Kevin did. My hair looks better and I'm only out 8 bucks. With the 40+ dollars I saved I can afford to buy a round of drinks at the Continental tonight! I can't speak for how they do with womens hair, but for the guys out there, definitely go check it out. read more

I came here about three times to get my eyebrows waxed. Totally cheap & fast. The staff seems pretty friendly. There was never a wait which is a plus. But you definitely get what you pay for here. They do offer basic nail and hair services. I would NOT get my hair done here but I might stop by to get a inexpensive mani-pedi. A little bit dingy and unorganized salon. So my daughter goes into have her nails done by Helen the owner who says she has years of experience doing nails and was only going to charge $18 she said it was originally $30 for a full set by the time she was done they looked bad. She refused to do them right and still wanted to get paid for a bad nail job. Then she had the nerve to tell my daughter to pay and never come back here again.....how professional is that. Been here once before on the recommendation of a family member. Back again today for a pedicure. Overall they are good for their price, not the best place if u want to see the tools sanitized and u want a fancy treatment, but have never had a problem here. It gets the job done and doesn't break the bank, plus u get a nice pampering. Not only do my feet look happy they feel happy. I brought my own polish and they had no problem using it. Pros: The ladys are easy to understand. Facility looks clean and well kept. Facility does not smell of nail polish and is well ventilated in the winter, in the summer they do not seem to run the ac much. They have a nice variety of colors to choose from They are priced nice $13 for a spa pedicure They do hair as well as nails They heat up the lotion so no cold shock and a wonderful foot massage Cons: The chairs are old and the massages don't work the best. They do try to sell u on getting your nails done if you say you are just in for a pedicure. They have conversations with each other in another language. They do not have tools individually sealed after cleaning. They also use nail files and buffers multiple times, but clean in between. Worst nail job ever. I'll never ever go back Here. Owner. Who said she has been doing nails for many years did the most ghetto job in the world. She glued nails on then put powder then cut them. Didn't measure them or anything. I told her I wasnt happy at this point and she said she would fix it in which I gave her a chance. Once she was done filing them down they were crooked and just horrible. I paid her 10 bucks and walked out. Didn't even let her finish. Yay! Eyebrow wax + Lip wax + Spa Pedicure = $23 - what a bargain! Definitely cheaper prices than what I'm used to in San Diego, which is where I picked up this slightly useless to expensive habit. I didn't feel coerced, but I was asked politely, when the old lady asked me if I wanted a lip wax after my eyebrow wax. I voluntarily asked for a spa pedicure because I have been wanting one so badly in this dry weather. I arrived there around 6:15 and they close at 7, but they made me feel welcome. There was no wait for the waxing, and I started my pedicure at 6:30 for exactly 27 minutes. They definitely provided better services than what I'm used to in San Diego, even though they charge like $10 less. I came out happy and I'm definitely going there again. For a woman's haircut, this place is not a great choice. I got my haircut here because it was nearby and looked inexpensive and what i got was a bad haircut. It took about 2 hours, about 4 inches of hair were chopped off for what I wanted (a trim), and in the end it was crooked. It did only cost $15. read more

Im a guy and I get a pedicure every month or two because I wear flip flops and sandals all the time. Went here for the first time hoping for a superior pedi cure for a guy. Its $15 so thats not the problem. The place isnt clean. Her tools come out of a dirty little box and YOU KNOW they werent steralized. She scuffed my heal for about 30 seconds afterward vs' like the place that I go to in Orange, Lilys Hair and Nails. When it was done there was still some sock material stuck in the corner of my big toe that I removed when I got home. Place isnt clean Tools arent clean I still tipped her because I knew I wasnt coming back anyway. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY for and the last thing I want to share are toe cleaning tools and dirty underwear. read more

This is such a GREAT PLACE. Everyone was so nice, especially Jennifer; the lady who did my nails she's so good! I really like my nailss. I got acrylics and she spent time making them look gorgeous. Everyone is experienced. And they gave me water and pretzels which to me is like the best thing ever. I came here for one reason: I wanted a cheap manicure and pedicure. Its $20 even though it is listed as $19 (seems like they charge a dollar extra for everything) I will say this- they did a great job on the mani pedi - but as stated below, I would never get my hair cut here. I witnessed the guy who cuts hair sitting bored in a chair twirling scissors around when they went flying across the room...eek. Definitely not a glamorous looking salon but I would recommend to anyone wanting a cheap quick and easy mani pedi. :) read more

This place is kind of "run down" and you wouldn't think of stopping here...but I had no choice. It was mandatory that I got a mani/pedi that night and it was almost time for closing and they were the only place that would take me. I gulped as I walked in and hoped for the best. Ugh do not go here! I got a gel manicure and had a terrible experience. First she filed my nail down to the skin after I told her I didn't want that, then she got frazzled and handed me off to a different employee who filed my nail down even further. She said she could do a design but they couldn't even make one nail silver, they tried to make it silver with regular nail polish even after I said it wouldn't work. In the end I walked out with nails that looked like a 12 year old did it with her left hand and her eyes closed. She got the gel polish all over my fingers. They are the worst nails I have ever had. She had no idea what she was doing the staff is loud and not knowledgable. I would never come back here again. Also the staff is crazy unprofessional they litteraly reach over you while you are getting your nails done. At one point someones armpit was in the girl next to mes face. The place is a crap hole: I cannot believe I paid $18 for this. She didn't even massage my hands but she offered to massage my neck for no charge. It also took forever! I had been going to Diva's for years to get my kids (3) haircut. Even my husband goes there. But no more!! The owner Helen doesn't give a crap about customer service. One of her workers cut my son's hair on Thursday evening, I went back the following Monday right after school to have it re-done because they did a crappy job, she charged me again for the haircut, even though they did a bad job to begin with. I told her I would not be coming back, Helen couldn't be bothered, too busy yaking in a foreign language on the phone. If you have to go here, only have Kevin cut your hair, he is good. read more
