As a kid I broke my R tibia, & over 60+ years I slowly got more & more lopsided without realizing it. I'm very active, & my PCP & specialists said it was just normal wear & tear that made my R side hurt from neck to shoulder to hip to knee. When my back & knee pain got unbearable, a friend sent me to Keith. The MDs had looked at "imaging" but didn't see or touch me. Keith physically examined how every joint & muscle in my body was actually working. He discovered my sacrum wasn't aligned with my pelvis, & wrestled & manipulated them back into place. It was like a miracle! I walked out feeling like myself again. In the mirror, my navel was back to center & my face no longer drooped as if I'd had a small stroke. I do still have some "wear & tear" back pain, but no more agony getting out of bed. Now I pay attention to how I walk & exercise; I'm OK to drive, hike, & schlep groceries etc.; & I'm grateful every day that I listened to my friend & went to TriValley Bodyworks instead of believing my doctors.

She's also just a genuinely kind, friendly, and easy person to be around. After seeing her regularly for two years, I trust her completely with my care. Some days I ask for lymphatic drainage, others I just leave to her to read my body. I also appreciate how passionate she is, she often goes to workshops in Japan to better her craft. Cannot recommend her enough - she is exceptional at what she does and is an absolute gem of a person!! Additionally her space is kept super clean and tidy, which is always a major part of feeling relaxed.

This didn't feel like your typical massage. Felt like a PT and massage session combined in one - but in the best way!!! Every step that she did, she would walk me through what she's doing and what felt tense, what can be done at home or work to continue finding relief. She's incredibly knowledgeable in what she does which is truly reassuring! The space is located in Sola Salons - just an fyi when I was using Apple Maps for direction, it led me to the other side of the shopping complex (maybe it's just me and pregnancy brain lol) so I was a little late to my appt but she was so understanding. Once you enter the salon, she's to the left in a nice cozy space. I highly recommend Rieko :)

I was so happy she values her customer's needs. When I mentioned I had a gift card, she made sure it was something she honored before she made any promises(which I really appreciated). As I entered the small waiting area, I noticed a change in the decor, it was simple & welcoming. What was also nice was the prompt & professional service of having me in the room at 11:30am & not waiting. My masseur was Jimmy, he had a gentle yet effective technique. I didn't realize how tight & tense my shoulders were until he worked on my joints & muscles. Jimmy also listened when my right shoulder was more sensitive, he took a quick break from working on that side but then tried a different technique to get that knot out. I couldn't be happier but realized I need more massages so I booked another appt. w/Jimmy. Thanks Amador Spa for realizing self care is so important & for helping me release the tension on my shoulders.

If you're looking to just relax this may not be the best place. I was looking for a local spot to…read moretry since the gem I found in Palo Alto was kinda far, so I stumbled on this place after a quick google search. They are very courteous people, but I just wanted to relax and enjoy the massage and calming sounds they put on. Nope, constantly asking questions I felt like it was more of an interrogation. It was questions about my personal life and work. I do not want to talk about that as this is my time . And I don't know how you tell someone that nicely, so I just rolled with it. I do not like to share certain personal things with people I do not know. I tried to be short in my answers in hopes he would figure out that I didn't want to talk, but nope it kept coming. And it is hard to talk with those covers they have on the pillow you rest your face on. The overall massage was okay. I didn't care for it .i think I would've had a better massage at Massage Envy. The mobility movements were good. But I didn't leave feeling like wow I feel so good and relaxed...that's how I felt when I left the Palo Alto spot, so I guess the hunt for a local spot continues.
