Fantastic local cleaners, always friendly and fast! Happy to have this business in the neighborhood.

This is a great dry cleaners! I drive all the way out from Hercules just to come out to this dry cleaner. The prices are reasonable, and they always do a great job cleaning my clothes! In addition, the owner and her sister who run the front are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in giving cleaning advice. I was so happy to find Sunny Cleaners after having tried quite a few dry cleaners. read more

Came by with some pants that needed a quick fix. She did it on the spot and only charged me $1. Ive been looking for a place like this.

I finally gave up on my old dry cleaner after steadingly increasing prices, bogus envirnomental and fuel surcharges and mediore service. Thanks to Yelp, I discovered the ever-so-wonderful Sunny Cleaners. Affordable prices (better than the competition), good and prompt service (faster than the competition) and nice people. Would only the rest of the world be more like them. I've been their customer for a year now...long enough to tell and... If I could give them six stars, I would. read more

These guys are great! They were super friendly and did an amazing job putting in new zippers and cleaning stains on clothes that I thought would NEVER come out. I am definitely going back! read more

My wash n fold laundry costs me less than half as much here as where I live in Moraga! And she did a great job hemming my new UC and Stanford fleeces. read more

Love them! I brought in a ton of dresses and skirts, most of them vintage and in a poor state. Sunny Cleaners went to town on them and when I got the pieces back they were in better condition than I thought was possible! Really happy with their work. read more

I had some pants tailored and a white blouse dry-cleaned here. She did an okay job on the pants (just asked her to shorten the legs) and she charged me extra to cuff. From a distance it looks okay but close up it looks like our family friend could have done it. My shirt turned a slight tinge of blue/grey. Slight but still noticeable.. I felt sad because it was my favorite shirt. The prices were really low so I guess it's fair, you get what you pay for but still :-/ read more

I am a business man and Berkeley resident for 25 years. Finding a good dry cleaners has been a challenge for me. I have been using Sunny Cleaners with the previous owner, on and off, for several years. I believe that my search for a good cleaners is over. It is the same business but with a new owner. A good management is what a business needed and Q with her beautiful family is definitely providing that. She is friendly, accommodating, efficient, and professional. She saved several of my expensive ties that other cleaners couldn't clean. Reasonable pricing, good results, and a nice smile. read more

They are amazing at Sunny Cleaners!!! I miss them terribly since I've moved to the Peninsula. I'm picky when it comes to dry cleaning and they are on point in every single aspect. I work with kids but have to look nice so I constantly came in with loads of stains on dry clean only shirts. They work miracles I swear. Every time I would come back all of the stains would be gone. They are so nice and have a cash discount if you pay up front which is great and they even sell girl scout cookies during the season. What more could you ask for?? Seriously if you have dry cleaning needs in Berkeley this is the place to go! read more

They do not do 24 hour service. The owner is rude also. They just wNr your Money. Customer service is sketchy at best. Plus they have left weird stains on my clothes that weren't there when I brought them in at least three times that I brought my things in out of about 10. I don't understand how your clothes can come back with the stains that weren't there originally. I don't recommend this place unless you are absolutely desperate and the convenience factor is there because you live nearby. But even then I will just plan ahead and go somewhere else read more

I left my clothes at Sunny's OVER A YEAR AGO (I forgot to pick them up before I left for Spain), and I recently picked them up in excellent condition! read more

I just got a bridesmaid dress altered here and Connie did an amazing job on a difficult alteration. The straps on it were about half the length I needed them to be so the neck area felt really tight, and the waist band was sitting high up on my ribcage. She created entirely new straps for the dress out of its inner lining, and sewed up the lining so you can't tell anything is missing. It looks a hundred times better on me now and fits like a glove, plus you can't even tell the straps are not the original ones. Also, this was all done in just a week because I waited until the last minute. They were very friendly, professional, efficient, and the price was completely reasonable. I will be getting all my alterations done here! read more

Super friendly, reasonable prices. I did my dry cleaning here. Maybe I'll come back for some tailoring one day :) I wouldn't be surprised if the tailoring is good too! read more

Definitely recommend this place. Had my dry cleaning done there and didn't realize I had left some $$ (it was a lot of cash) in one of my pockets. Luckily Q found it and returned it to me. I'm grateful for her honesty and diligence in checking through the dry cleaning items. Love the service too. I have been a returning customer who continues to be happy with the excellent service. read more

Super nice. Dollar laundry and fold. Same day service.

Sunny Cleaners is the best. I used to think that all dry cleaners were the same -- you drop off your clothes, you pick them up, that's it -- but that was before I started going here. They are extremely friendly, extremely helpful, and have fantastic prices. Can't say enough good about this place. read more

These people are fantastic. They are super friendly, always on time, and remember my name when I come in. It's a perfect small neighborhood shop. Finish laundry, dry cleaning and alterations, all at a good price. Highly recommended. read more

This has been my go-to-place for wash and fold, for at least 2 years, can't remember exactly, but 2 years or more. I don't own any items for dry cleaning, so haven't had the opportunity to use their services. The best part about this place are the ladies that operate this business, they are really awesome; thoughtful, kind, and do a great job. They know my family's needs, (special hypoallergenic soap that I bring), do a super job folding my clothes, and basically do as good, and actually, better job with my laundry than I can. They have sewn and altered my clothes also. Easy parking. And, all the time that I would have spent doing my laundry, I can now spend on other things. read more

This is the very best cleaners I have ever used, in any city, any state!! Really! The staff are personable, attentive, kind, and they remember everyone's name. Cleaning and laundering are always perfect, no complaints. And the tailoring is fantastic. All of this for a very reasonable price. My family and I can't recommend this place strongly enough. read more

Honest and excellent people. Forgot that I left some money in my jacket pocket when I drop if off for dry clean. Sunny Cleaners found the money and contacted me to let me know. No other cleaners would have been honest enough to give back the money they found. read more

Sunny cleaners is the best hands down. I tried a wash and fold for the first time with them and they did an amazing job. Customer service is top notch and they even expedited my laundry due to a last minute flight I had to catch. So affordable as well. Ill be using them for as long as I'm in Berkeley. Thank you sunny cleaners!!! read more

I take a bunch of stuff here to be tailored and they always do a great job. It's fast and very affordable.

Efficient, inexpensive, nice, and do excellent work. These women make my life so much easier and my clothes look fantastic. It's always easy to park right in front to load and unload my laundry too. Wonderful place and people! read more

These people are amazing. Our washer-dryer has been broken for about two months and we're bringing our laundry to Sunny. They are amazingly nice, they offer quick turn-around, they haven't lost of damaged anything, our kids love helping me drop off the laundry. They are the sweetest people, and they offer a better price than the first place were were using on Claremont. A big plus for us is that they ask which kind of detergent we want so our clothes don't come home smelling of strong chemicals. And they do all the wash & fold in house, whereas other places send it out and we've had stuff get lost by other places. These women are A+. read more

I've been going here for over 10 yrs now and have never been disappointed. A couple weeks ago, I slurped mole sauce (chocolate, butter, oil) onto the lapel of my favorite jacket. They got it out without prompting. Best dry cleaner ever. read more

Great service for a great price. I love the owners here. Get yo clothes drycleaned here.

Good service, kind staff, great prices with a discount for cash in advance of pickup. My only peeve is that many times collar buttons on shirts come back broken, but I believe you could ask for hand-ironing if this is a problem for you. I'm switching cleaners for something closer to home, but these folks are great. read more

I got a men's dress shirt taken in on the sides and at the sleeves. Great customer service, and they were kind enough to do a quick job since I was headed to a wedding out of town. Was the best price of the places I called around to in the Berkeley/North Oakland area, which was an added benefit. read more

What wonderful people, and what fabulous service on top of that. Whether it's a quick alteration, repair, or double-timing a load of a dozen button-down shirts, these folks make it happen with a smile. I started going here because it was across the street, but now I drive my dry cleaning here from 20 minutes away. read more

I needed a couple of items cleaned and one just pressed. They were speedy and all of my items came back perfect.

Great cleaning service, able to turnaround my suit within two days. Make sure to bring cash and pay upfront to get a small discount.

Yeah, I'm short. So sue me. And yes, this means I have to have all my pants hemmed - why I have to add $7-$15 to the cost of every pair of pants I buy for the rest of my life is beyond me. When your growth spurt ends you should get some sort of gift certificate for free hemming for life. As if having to hem once wasn't bad enough, I've recently had to re-hem. I brought in about 5 pairs of pants from my younger, higher-heeled days. Many of them had rips at the bottom b/c my higher-heeled pants had been caught under my lower-heeled shoes for quite some time. Sunny's cleaner did a great job (I think they send them out, but whatever). My pants, including a tricky pair of jeans with buttons at the bottom, were very well hemmed, for a very reasonable price, and even all the shredded parts were taken care of without my losing too much actual pant length. I no longer live near here but continue to bring my pants here for hemming. As a bonus to the quality and fair pricing, the woman who works here is very nice and I'm very happy to go out of my way to support her business - and you will be too! read more
