The company website is much better than the company it represents. Our sauna was very late in delivery. We were given so many projections on delivery and none were met. Finally, our sauna arrived 2 months late and it was damaged. Getting them to give any compensation was horrible. They do not protect your sauna from shipping damage and our was damaged on the very front. They even tried to get out of shipping our accessories and we are still waiting on something ordered in December and now May is nearly over. I am very unhappy with their lack of responsiveness and false promises. If they do not fulfill the agreement with me, I will take further actions. read more

Buyers beware. Customer service is horrible. This is a high ticket item and I was doing my research. Their salespeople are in the COMMISSION business, not the wellness business. When I was about to purchase, I asked if any accessories were included and I never heard back from the rep. I had to contact the sales manager who told be I was "haggling" with his salesperson. Really? Because I asked if there were any incentives on a $3000 item, one time? Pretty rude and abusive honestly. And a quick search of this employee who's title is national sales manager, shoes he's fresh out of high school. Obviously. Attempts to try and contact the owner were made but protected by another uppity employee. I'm sure if I actually purchased a unit from these people, I could expect the same unprofessional treatment. I have been sold a lemon! For the 8 months that I have owned my believe m-Pulse sauna it has worked (100% functional) for less than half that time. I have invested days of my time on the phone with tech support (when I have been lucky enough to actually reach someone) and replaced Chromo lights, multiple heaters, the main power/control box and now the touchscreen yet my sauna still isn't working properly. I have made several appointments on multiple days/times to have a tech call me back requiring me to take time off from my business, stay home and pray that someone will actually call during the allotted time. Multiple attempts to call your customer care line and requesting a call back have yielded no results and, of course, my latest one at 3:50pm (your time) ends with "you have reached us after our normal business hours". I am frustrated beyond belief after wasting thousands of dollars and investing countless hours. Even multiple voicemails left for the owners go ignored. John G read more

I ordered a Sunlighten Sauna but repeatedly requested that delivery be delayed. I'm starting a renovation and the property won't be accessible for a few months. My request was ignored and I just got notice that "my sauna is out for delivery." I chose Sunlighten because their product seems thoughtfully designed. Now I've learned that their customer service isn't quite as thoughtful. I'm sure this will be a major hassle, one that I don't have time for right now. Purchased a Signature 3 sauna from Sunlighten and it arrived in March 2020. I assembled it myself with a little help from my wife. It was engineered to just sort of snap together and did pretty easily despite the scanty directions. We experienced a couple of post-assembly issues with the wiring connections. I called Customer Care and Noah helped me troubleshoot and fix both issues very quickly. We ordered some accessories - towels etc. - and they sent the wrong ones. Savanah was most helpful and prompt in getting us the correct items. As a retired mfg engineer I would rate the quality of the sauna as very good. Their customer service personnel are most friendly and helpful. Note: iMHO a Signature 3 is the smallest you would want for two people sauna - ing together. read more

I spent 6- months researching saunas. I wanted one that could tolerate being outdoors. I wanted one large enough for me to exercise in and made of cedar. It had to be attractive and I had to feel good about the customer service I received. Well, my Sunlighten IV checks all the boxes. (Oh, and the 4 year 0% financing was a nice perk as well) When we were putting it together we had an issue with the lights blinking and the fan running, but Noah was able to talk us through what needed to be adjusted. I ordered a sauna from Sunlighten because I have chronic fatigue and know the benefits of infrared on inflammation. There was a mistaken at their end and at first they refused to return it. After some back and forth they have agreed to return it at no cost to me. I'm now satisfied with the resolution. The reason for the low rating is due to customer service they are impossible to get on the phone you have to leave a message and they finally call you back in 2-3 days,also the parts have a certain warranty but if there is a problem they only cover the shipping for the 1st 60 days after that you have to pay to have to part shipped and be ready to install them yourself they have no technician to come out to the house,our sauna is less then a year old,had nothing but problems,shop around and be careful of sunlighten.our sales guy Steven told us that the outlet had to changed to 220,he said it was easy well $300.00 later we had to have a electrician come out the sauna needs a dedicated line from the fuse panel to work,he also does not return phone calls read more

I bought the mPulse sauna back in 2010 and I have had nothing but problems with the sauna. Takes too long to warm up, heating units not working, multiple error codes, faulty connections etc etc etc. The worse thing is you are on your own to try to fix the problems. Sunlighten just sends you the part and instructions and most of the time the part is wrong or won't fit. The quality is so poor. The unit is way over priced.I was really fooled by how nice it looks but I learned my lesson. read more

I love my new Sunlighten mPulse spa. In fact, we are so convinced of their health benefits that I purchased one for home, as well as for my Wellness Center. These spas are not only wonderful for health, they are beautiful to look at. Customers can't wait to begin using it after setting it up. After setting up the spa, we had one of those "once in a Blue Moon" experiences where the sauna would not power up. I called Customer Service and got Greg. He was very patient and walked me step-by-step through some troubleshooting techniques. In very little time it was up and running. Paid for in full back in August and have been getting the run around for the last several weeks. I have asked for the truth and help with getting the 3 person sauna I have paid for actually delivered since Sunlighten told me it would be delivered weeks ago. The logistics company they use seem confused and Sunlighten is zero help with resolving the issue. I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will be disputing with my credit card company since Sunlighten is not capable of communication with people who they have ripped off and taken full payment for but do not deliver the product. read more

I bought a sauna in March 2021 after nearly a year of weekly calls from Sunlighten Sauna salesman blowing up my phone to get me to buy and offering various "discounts and specials" I finally decided to order one and pay the thousands of dollars that they cost. Finally when it arrived it never got hot, it would only ever reach 140 degrees at best and this would take over 2 hours to get that hot. Although I was told it would reach 165 degrees. I called the customer service and no answer, so I reached out to my sales rep Zack. He then connected me and I was told that was a decent enough temperature so I was ready to settle for this. Next, a week later the heater went out and was completely broken. I again called, called and called customer service and still no answer. I reached out again to my customer rep Zack and he was able to get me a new heater. I was told it would take 3 days to receive and it took weeks to show up. Got it, plugged it in and sauna worked for a week and broke again. I finally reached out to buy salesman and requested a refund for a faulty sauna and he completed GHOSTED me. I called and called, left voicemails, text messages and NO RESPONSE. It impossible to reach anyone at customer service, I've tried emailing and calling, and no answer. I finally decided to dispute with my credit company, days later after the claim had began, a sales rep finally gave me call. Imagine that. HA. I bought this because I have RA, to help with my pain and stress and it caused SO much more stress in my life. This sauna is faulty and a complete piece of junk made in China. If you have ANY issues, your guaranteed to be screwed. I would NEVER recommend spending the $5K that these costs. This company has a serious customer service issue and will try to ghost you to get you past the 30 day refund policy. Be warned! read more

I purchased a mpulse Aspire and can only speak for my experience with that. Sales team 5/5 I put these people through the ringer and everything that they claimed on their website they were able to send me clinical studies to backup. Thank you Andrea Franklin. My wife and I could not poke any holes through this company, and we tried. I had looked at a lot of saunas and figured out a lot of them were just repackaged junk coming from China. If you can't get your hands on sauna's to compare them check out healthhacksreviewed.com where this guy named Alex reviews them pretty in depth with video so you can see what he is talking about. Quality 5/5 The wood, the heaters, the glass, and even the premium sound system are awesome. This thing is thoughtfully engineered and carefully constructed. Construction 4/5 I have to knock some points off for this. On the whole construction was good. It was delivered quickly, and packaged really well. We had no damage to our equipment. The diagram for the feet in the instruction booklet was wrong, but the feet went on easy. We also bought the A.R.T and installation was easy but one of the holes for the sound heart was an inch off. I called they let me drill my own hole which took 2 seconds and sent me an e-mail saying it wouldn't hurt my warranty. Easy fix. The only other thing is it takes 3 people to assemble, not 2. It was my neighbor, my wife, and I. Oh and someone to watch the little ones lol. All in all construction was easy and efficient. Health benefits 5/5 I don't have brain fog throughout the day. I wake up in the morning and feel like a weight has been lifted off my body. Plain and simple I believe this does what they claim. My wife and I have felt a big difference. These saunas are great! There are actually several of these in my family so I knew they are good and that is why I chose Sunlighten. I've had mine for over 6 months and still love it. They fit perfectly in my apartment and I feel awesome after a session. I recently moved and taking the sauna apart and putting it back together was a snap! Their staff is also great. Ordered a 2-person sauna on July 9th, paid in full. Salesperson, Kyle Jackson, informed me that it should be shipped to my location no later than August 10th, but "it shouldn't take that long - it should be there sooner." On August 12th, I checked with Sunlighten (btw, good luck trying to get hold of anyone who might be able to help, unless... you'd like to buy another sauna?) Oh, that will be "near you" by August 18th - you'll get an email and then you schedule the delivery (I thought we just scheduled the delivery - I can be here on 8/10, the latest it should be here). Sauna arrived to delivery company 8/19, and I called twice to scheduled for Monday, 8/23. On delivery day, the only upon calling the delivery company (at the end of the 8-12 window), Well, your box looks a little damaged, so we've sent a picture to the shipper, and you may need to order another one, a replacement. I called Sunlighten to figure this out with them: Alex answered and tried to be helpful, but he couldn't help me, so he transferred me to Kyle, who didn't actually place the order, so he needed to transfer me to Deanna Smith, "it's her order". On the call/hold for 26 minutes. I gave up and re-dialed the number including Deanna Smith's extension, it went straight to music. So I went through the switchboard who connected me to Deanna Smith who answered "Hi, this is Deanna. How can I help you?" I began to explain my situation and she interrupted me, knowing it was me and wondering what I wanted. She was unconcerned, and she said she would "start the cancellation process and look out for an email'. Customer service at it's absolute finest. read more

Ok, so I am one of those rare folks with EMF sensitivity. Anything with significant EMFs makes me feel horrible like cars, computers, cell phones etc. I bought a sauna from Sunlighten in 2012, but this was before anyone took the EMF issue seriously. I thought I was doomed since the EMFs were so high. Then, I heard through the grapevine that sauna companies were producing low EMF saunas. I contacted Yvette at Sunlighten and she was a pleasure to work with. I told her my story and she took the extra step of shipping my new sauna to her headquarters and testing it for EMF before sending it to me. I got what i wanted...a super low EMF sauna! I have had to continually pay out of pocket for fixes required to keep these saunas going, such as having new lights put in, the bench seat breaking and having to be replaced (they then sent the wrong size which had to be altered to fit correctly). Recently they sent me new fuses which had to be installed by someone with electrical knowledge, and they said if I didn't replace them my warranty would be voided. Now the glass sauna doors don't shut properly, I had professional glass installers come to fix the doors and they said that the integrity of the sauna wall is the issue. Sunlighten is now sending me new gaskets as they think that's the problem. So now I need to keep paying people to fix this. I wish they would stand behind their product and pay for all of these fixes! Here's an email I sent Sunlighten shortly after I purchased 2 commercial saunas from them in 2015. Horrible customer service. I purchased 2 saunas from you recently and they have not been working properly. I have spent money on electricians and paying people to replace the screens in the saunas, new screens you sent because the ones we were sent were apparently the old ones that don't work properly. We lost money not only on these repairs but on having to cancel appointments and closing the saunas until new screens arrived and were installed. Not only did we lose money, this affected our reputation with our clients as well. What is most disturbing is how you as a company have dealt with this thus far. First off, Nick refused to send the new screen until we paid for it and had sent the old one to him. Why would we pay for a part that we already paid for? When it was admittedly a mistake on your end? While putting in the new screen, my manager Rose was assisted via phone by Mathew, who at one point in the phone call said "Can I call you back? I have better things to do right now". Really?! She also had better things to be doing. And Rose tried many times to call you Mary, you sold me the saunas. You were always out, or too busy to talk and will not return our calls. You called me back many times when you were trying to sell us the saunas. The screens in the saunas are overheating, the saunas are exceeding the temperature they should be at and making a terrible sound that makes them unusable. I called your spa to ask if the same thing happens to theirs when they preheat and they said absolutely not, they are using them in the same fashion as us. We purchased these with the Commercial package and they absolutely need to be on to be prepared for clients when they arrive. Mathew (in a condescending tone) said we were not supposed to preheat them when they are already on, but how else would we get them to temp. when a client arrives? Again, your spa said this is the way they do it and they have never had a screen overheat or malfunction because of this. I would like to add, that the people we have talked to have been short with us, have given the impression that we are bothering them and wasting their time and have not made the efforts to make this right in a manner that we are deserved. This is outrageous and absolutely unprofessional. If the saunas we have are not fixed within a reasonable time (by Feb. 20th, this has been an issue since October) I would like them replaced with properly working saunas. I also feel that I should be compensated for the money that I have spent trying to fix this issue. It is truly unfortunate that you as a company haved failed thus far in giving us appropriate customer service. Horrible customer service- you contact them via email to set up a ticket and then they never call you. Since they won't respond you have to call and of course you have to wait and wait... Have a problems and they still not resolved. Now they sauna won't fully heat up and I'm told it needs to preheat more. So now I'm preheating for three hours and it still won't heat up fully. Sitting on hold as I'm writing trying AGAIN to get this resolved. I wish I would have just gotten a regular sauna from another company. read more

I could not post the entire story because it was to long, so this is what Sunlighten did for me. Darlene went above and beyond and for that I thank Sunlighten for employing individuals that genuinely care, I thank Sunlighten management for giving their employees authorization to make decisions that treat me as if I was their only and most important customer.   It is reassuring that Sunlighten takes pride in reassuring their customers that they come first.  The quality of their product is just as important as the quality in their customer service.  Combining these two business qualities is rare in today's economic environment.  Sunlighten has earned my trust and loyalty.  They made a bad situation unmemorable. If you are anything like me, you've agonized (or are agonizing right now?) about which Sauna brand to purchase. There is SOOO much information on the web and so many people claiming to be the best. In the end, I bought a Sunlighten mPulse Believe Sauna used, and everything worked nearly perfectly when I built it and set it up. A couple heating panels were cooler than they should be, but I expected something like that with a used unit. Called to get replacement heaters, and Nick was stellar via phone. Super fast process and reasonable prices for replacement parts (even if a unit is off-warranty.) Nick even worked to get the item rushed to me so that I don't have to wait too long to have the full-heating potential of my unit. Buy with confidence. These guys are legit. read more

I thought this would be a good purchase, and it sadly was not. I bought the solo sauna, because it is just me and my cats. The sauna did not work from the start. Does not detox the body, just is a little warm. Or it burned me when I touched the dome part of the sauna. After 2 months, it stopped working. I do not recommend. read more

Dr. Klinghardt would be very disappointed to know that his sick patients are spending so much money on these cheaply constructed saunas and dealing with crappy quality and poor customer service. Not only do they have poor customer service, the older models were defective and a fire hazard. Their warranty is horrible and they have no contracted techs to repair, they make you find your own tech, mail you the parts to repair stuff. Insane. So many complaints filed with the BBB. This sauna is the best purchase I've ever made. With so many illnesses and viruses going around, I have been using my sauna at least 5 days a week. My five star rating is not based on the company. It is based on the five star customer service I received from Tyler. I had tried for weeks to get a correct replacement part to no avail. It wasn't until I was connected to Tyler that I found an employee that listened to me and followed through. Tyler did what he promised by sending me the correct part.
