I bought the Signature II model about 5/6 weeks ago on the recommendation of my massage therapist who has been treating me since a bad car accident last Dec 2015. I am a 56 year old guy and have run my own financial services business for the last 30 years. I, like most successful business's need a frequent flow of new clients in order to grow and be successful. I have never sold anyone anything in my life, I despise being sold anything, it's all about knowledge and satisfied referrals, NOT sales. From first contact with the rep that worked with me Mark Donnell, I couldn't be happier right out of the gate with his NON sales approach. He walked me through the various models, their details and how it all works. He never once attempted to try and sell me, he simply explained to me the benefits, the process and the value of the sauna. We went back and for over a period of a couple of weeks as I was doing my research on many different saunas on the market and their prices. Yes I found saunas for much less, that were even bigger and fancier but the reason I kept coming back to Sunlighten was the in depth quality of the materials used and the attention to it being not only a very attractive unit but how safely it is built using no toxic glues or chemicals. The EMF levels are virtually non existent and this is a good thing. We don't need any more than we are already exposed to. When you look at the less expensive models you will note that they cannot compare in most cases (you can find the specifics and definitions on the web) That said, Mark couldn't be more helpful and worked with me to make sure I got my sauna. It arrived promptly, the delivery company were great, two big guys took it off the truck and placed it in my garage. They were polite and careful not to bump of any of my stuff. The unit is quite big, two cartons laying on a wooden pallet and all wrapped together in cellophane. Nothing missing and all together. I was impressed with the packaging however like a previous customer mentioned there is allot of protection, cardboard, thin wooden sheets that sandwiched the cartons to protect from punctures and styrofoam up the yin yang, but in a good way. There is allot of stuff to dispose of but as intended my sauna was in pristine condition beneath it all. Set up was pretty quick. I am by no means a handyman, I can do the usual, mostly benign projects that don't require power tools, just everyday home maintenance. This I thought was going to be a challenge. I think the hardest part was the unboxing, seriously when I had it out of the wrapper and all lined up according to the instructions, it was a relief. It was four walls a ceiling and a floor, that's it. My two big strapping sons carried it all upstairs for me (accident prevented me from participating in this part) or so I led them to believe ;) I might have been able but sure why would you when you have two big strapping sons, right. First you attach the feet with the included hardware, set the floor down and pop the walls in in the order they tell you to. The last wall is the front with the glass door and requires help to lift it and slide it in. 4 U pins hold each wall to the other and then on goes the ceiling. Now here is where my anxiety began to surface, the instructions read that I had to remove the 2 panels from the top outside part of the ceiling in order to connect up the electronics Not my forte whatsoever, I don't do electrical stuff at all, none, never, scares me to mess with it. It couldn't have been easier, I promise it was plug A into socket A and B into socket B, connect two cable like connectors and voila, done. Re attach the two cover panels with about 12 screws I believe and that's it. Really it couldn't be less complicated. Next you remove the magnetically connected wooden panels from inside the sauna protecting the heaters in order to install the seat which is sturdy and very well built and then replace. The floor has a heater in it also and I thought that the fabric covering enclosed that is supposed to cover it and was just folded and included was a mistake until I noticed the velcro around the edges. I wasn't sure why like this until after I have used the sauna several times and realize that sweat will obviously gravitate to the floor and thus requiring the cloth be removed and cleaned from time to time. So that's it, you then turn on the unit (which does require a 20 amp/watt dedicated outlet which I have for my washing machine) and just don't use both at the same time. This was a less expensive way to get up and running without the need for an expensive electrician. Mine happen to be upstairs by my bathroom however my friend (massage therapist) put hers in her basement. Either way it's a go around if you think it out. One final comment here, and something they alert you to, there is a small clip between the right wall and floor needs to be connected. Pay attention here. That's it. Cheers read more

I have been blessed with access to a portable Solo sauna since February of 2012 with the addition of the Solopad in January of 2013. Although the sauna was very nice, the addition of the solopad allows for much greater comfort since one is lying on memory foam instead of a thin reflector pad on the floor. It also provides more therapeutic far infrared benefits since the solopad contains far infrared heating panels in addition to those that are in the sauna. As someone who is much better than in years past but still lives with fibromyalgia, I have found regular use of the sauna to be very beneficial. I am not pain-free as I had hoped. However, I can keep my pain at a manageable level while using fewer supplements than before I began regular far infrared sauna use. I also know I am allowing my body to detox through sweating which is the only way the body can rid itself of some of the toxins stored in our bodies due to the toxic environment in which we now live. Yet another benefit for me is that wonderful feeling of lying in the sunshine even in the fall and winter. I live in PA. I love the summer sun and can't stand the cold. Therefore, the soothing heat is great not only for my pain but also for the winter blues. What a wonderful way to relax and reduce stress which is something we all face on a daily basis. I was hooked after my first session in the sauna! Since you will really sweat profusely if you use the Solo sauna in conjunction with the Solopad, be sure to use Sunlighten's towels or something equivalent. When I was just using the sauna and reflector pad, this wasn't critical. However, I found that sheets or regular towels would not protect the Solopad which would be soaked after a session. When I called Sunlighten because I knew I needed to do something, Will explained that Sunlighten's towels should solve the problem. He were right! The one improvement I would suggest is a single towel custom-made to fit the Solopad instead of having to use two towels. I'd also like to mention Sunlighten's wonderful customer service. Since I am totally blind, I was emailed a copy of the Solo user manual in a format that I was able to access with my Braille display. It was a request that was new to Sunlighten, but it was fulfilled. While I did not have that same access to a manual with the Solopad, I was given detailed instructions over the phone, including the exact layout of the buttons, which allowed me to easily set everything up without any sighted assistance nearby. Thank you, Sunlighten customer care, for your friendly assistance even when you had to go downstairs to look at a model in order to answer my questions! Not every company is willing to provide that needed assistance though it should be given upon request when an accessible manual is not available. When there was a problem with the control box, Sunlighten also responded promptly to my inquiry, and the issue was quickly resolved. Thank you! I have always been a proponent of good health and alternative means of attaining it. Generally I do a bodily cleansing fast twice a year, try to maintain a yoga practice and keep active in other regards. When it comes to nutrition, I stay away from meat and all the "white stuff" , eat a lot of vegetables, fruit, fish and do a lot of juicing. So with all this good practice, I was quite shocked to find out that I had cancer nearly two years ago. I've been fighting it with alternative methods and am making progress in battling this disease. A person fighting cancer this way must be vigilant in reading up on therapies and tweaking one's personal regimen every few months; adding something new to the mix or throwing something out. I am excited to write a brief review about my Sunlighten MPulse. Originally, I had ordered a sauna from a different company, but finally canceled and ordered a Sunlighten after several shipping delays (understandably, these things happen). I am so glad made this change because our sauna looks amazing in the house and I don't think the pictures on the website as good as the real thing. The overall design with the glass corner and wood cut-ins look incredibly modern and the quality of the cedar is excellent. The contour benches were one of the biggest surprises, fit perfectly when installing, and are very comfortable. The heater covers are also great as they simply snap over the heaters with a cool magnet system. I was planning on ordering additional backrests, but canceled the backrests because I think the seats are perfect without them. If you are comparing saunas, I would recommend taking a very close look at the seats as part of the comparison. My entire family has been using the sauna for a month, and we absolutely love it. My teenage girls insist on the skin care program so they can get the near infrared (they think it's like the red light you can do at spas). I think we all look better because of using the sauna. We also love the DVD player. My kids relax with their ipods, while my wife and I prefer a DVD we got from Hawaii showing relaxing ocean waves and associated sounds. So what is my favorite feature of the sauna? The Cedar aroma is BY FAR my favorite feature. I hope this doesn't fade after time, but love to open the door after using it to let the aroma permeate the room. We have a nice hot tub, and enjoy using it as well. However, if we had to pick just one, there is no question I would keep the sauna. We love relaxing on the amazing contoured bench enjoying the cedar aroma, and listening to the waves roll up on the beach. To me, it is the ultimate staycation. I first heard and experienced a Sunlighten sauna in Florida. The accolades were a bit more than I could take at face value so I did some extensive research on the far infrared heath. It's been my experience that if you do a 'google' search on the least-hit sites, you find out what people think and bypass the 'commercial sales pitch.' After my research, I purchased a Sunlighten sauna for my health club. I told members that if this unit could produce 1/4 of what it claims, I would be happy. Well, I am extremely happy. Your sauna is called the Magic Box at my club. Those of us who do it on a regular basis just look at each other and say, "yeah, it's wonderful." The night after my first sauna session I crawled into bed and felt that I had climbed upon a huge chiffon cloud - I stretched and turned and completely luxuriated in the best night's sleep I'd known in years. The next day my skin felt like I had a total body facial and I spent the first half of the day with a sleepy half-smile on my face. A group of us are now addicted to your sauna. We all feel energized and purified. Bruises go away. Allergies go away. Aches go away. Individuals who have been eating unhealthy experience a cleanse from the sauna. Traditional saunas may cleanse your pores, but nothing has actually cleansed the entire system as a Sunlighten sauna. Having authored 17 fitness books, too many magazines to mention and being the present editor of a fitness magazine, I have heard a lot of unsubstantiated claims in the fitness industry. I am so proud to say that your claims are not unsubstantiated, and not only have you met 1/4 of your claims, but I would venture to say you have not yet touched the peak of the iceberg of what this sauna therapy can impact. We purchased a Sunlighten Aspire Sauna about a month ago and absolutely love it! It was easy to install in our home and required no extra tools. We have been using our sauna daily and are already noticing the difference in how we feel. I am a breast cancer survivor and since I finished chemotherapy over 4 years ago, I have had to deal with some major side effects. These include neuropathy issues in my hands and feet and joint pain; our new sauna as well as my exercise regime are both vital necessities to help me overcome these side effects. The infrared rays are so different than a traditional steam sauna; I would not be able to stay in a steam sauna for a 30 or 45 minute session but I have no issue completing a 45 minute session in our new infrared sauna. One of the features we love about our new sauna are the preset programs. We can chose from pain relief, detox, weight loss, cardio and anti-aging preset programs. We are challenged by technology so this feature has enabled us to get the most out of our sauna right from the start. Just this week I started scheduling my sauna sessions for when I wake up in the morning. My alarm goes off at 6:15 and the sauna is already preheated and starting my session without any input from me. LOVE IT!!! We also love the display screen that contains a variety of applications. We can watch a DVD, Netflix or check out our Facebook page while we are in a session.....and the quality of the stereo and sound system is excellent. We purchased the Conquer and have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of assembly, remarkable service and now daily use. Just the two of us put the sauna together in about an hour (and I'm a 5'2" grandma!). The customer service is fabulous. What few questions we had, the customer service representative was very knowledgeable and helpful. Katy, from Sunlighten, has called us a few times to check on how the sauna was operating and if we had any questions. We had a few questions and again, she was extremely helpful. I wondered if we would actually use the Conquer or would it be like the hot tub ...which is now rarely used. I noticed an improvement in my skin within the first few days. I was having extremely dry skin problems that has actually cleared up completely since I have been using the sauna. One of my clients commented on my skin two days ago, so I had to tell her about the sauna. We have also noticed a slight weight loss - always a plus! We like the detoxification too but the best feature of all is the relaxation benefit. I have actually fallen asleep in the sauna with the relaxation program. Thankfully, it is on a timer! I think the relaxation benefit is the best feature. I would compare the relaxation to that of yoga. We watch DVDs, read or I will use sauna time for my daily devotional. I've even taken my laptop in the sauna to catch up on work that couldn't wait. (That's probably not good for the laptop, so don't try this without asking Katy.) I worried about the cost of using the sauna and we have not noticed an increase in our electric bill and we use the sauna every day. I spent a significant portion of my day communicating with Skylar, a representative from Sunlighten, a company based in Overland Park, KS. I was interested in purchasing a new sauna and initially, our conversation was positive. We discussed various sauna models and their potential health benefits. I also inquired about pricing and financing options. Throughout our discussion, I repeatedly asked about the total cost, and any potential additional fees. Skylar consistently quoted me two prices: $6,499.00 with free shipping or $5,699.00 with free shipping. No mention of potential taxes was made during the initial discussion. Notification of additional charges only occurred upon receipt of a debit to my credit card. Upon inquiry, I was informed that this was due to the possibility of discrepancies in the final calculation. When Skylar sent me a payment link, the total amount was not visible. Upon questioning, they claimed they had to adjust the amount "on the back end," which raised concerns for me. Despite my multiple attempts to clarify the final cost, I was met with vague responses. When I expressed my concerns about the company's negative reviews on the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Skylar dismissed them, stating that the number of complaints was insignificant compared to the company's overall customer base. This dismissive attitude towards customer feedback was concerning. Ultimately, I decided against purchasing a Sunlighten sauna. While I was initially interested in their product, the lack of transparency regarding pricing, combined with the dismissive attitude towards customer concerns, led me to seek a more reputable and customer-centric company. I have had the luxury of owning 2 Clearlight saunas and now 3 Sunlighten Saunas due to my business. I also have the experience of personally setting up, repairing, and breaking down these saunas; so you can say I have a little intimate knowledge of the sauna workings. Both are good companies, but Sunlighten has my repeat business now. Both products perform as expected, in regards to delivering infrared and the benefits of using an infrared sauna. Where they differ from my experience is Sunlighten has a better box construction and is made of thicker wood; this is really important when it comes to flooring which receives the most wear and tear. The door frame and hinges are superior in the Sunlighten products in regards to maintenance. All of my saunas have had breakdowns or needing minor repairs at some point; that is the nature of equipment. I run my saunas 12+ hours a day 7 days a week, so they get their use. But, there has been less maintenance in my ownership of my Sunlighten saunas. When something needs repaired, both companies offer good customer service. But, Sunlighten has been easier to get a hold of and to follow up with. My Sunlighten customer service technician, Stone, is very knowledgeable of his products and their components. Stone has been a great problem solver and does his best to make things right. I trust his wisdom more so than a sales rep as he is dealing with the customer service side of the business and tells it like it is. And, for your edification, I have owned 2 Clearlight ADA Retreat saunas, 2 Sunlighten Signature FS Saunas, and 1 Sunlighten mPulse Conquer sauna. Buyers beware of the lack of care for the customer, their inability to track a simple order, and not being able to keep any commitments to their customers. I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the customer service and shipping experience I've had with Sunlighten. I ordered three parts on Monday, requesting two-day shipping, and was assured that everything would arrive promptly. However, the situation has been anything but smooth. On Thursday, I called to check on the status of my order, only to be informed that you didn't have all the parts in stock and that it would now take three weeks for delivery. I asked for an alternative to receiving the parts sooner, and after further discussion with the warehouse (and they somehow found the parts), you confirmed that the parts would be shipped overnight. On Friday, I called to get the shipping details and was told that the parts had not yet shipped. I requested priority overnight shipping with Saturday delivery, which was supposedly arranged. Just to confirm, I called back a few hours later and was provided with a tracking number, with reassurance that the parts would indeed be delivered by noon on Saturday. However, as of Saturday morning, the shipping status still shows that the parts have not even been shipped. This is completely unacceptable, as I have been assured multiple times that the order would be prioritized. This ongoing delay, along with the lack of clear communication and follow-through, has been incredibly frustrating. I am a nurse that travels 280 mi/wk to my job. I stay in a call rm. at the hospital. I called Sunlighten to inquire about the portable Solo sauna and a nice young man, by the name of Jayson Cole, who is very knowledgeable and seems to genuinely care about his customers . I purchased one in May, since it sounded like it was just what I needed. I have Hypothyroidism and also wanted to detox any heavy metals or toxins that might be interfering with my health. I received the sauna but found that it was a bit too heavy and bulky for me to transport weekly, since I am 65 and petite. So I am using it at home, and I have a Near infrared sauna that I am using in my small bathroom at the hospital. I can tell you there is no comparison between the Far-infrared and the Near infrared. The Solo heats my entire body evenly by the end of the session I am sweating pretty good all over. The Near infrared does NOT heat evenly and I have to keep turning every few minutes while I sit on an uncomfortable stool. (The Solo lets you lie down comfortably, AHHHHH) With the Near infrared, I barely sweat at all, even tho I use it 30 min, with an additional ceiling heat lamp in the room. Jayson has been great, and even called me back on a holiday weekend, when I left a question. I called him yesterday to let him know my experience between the two saunas, and he asked me if I would be willing to share my experience to help others who might be conflicted on which type to buy. Save yourself the frustration and go with Sunlighten! If I had the money, I'd have one at home AND in my call room at the hospital. read more

I am writing in support of the results that Sunlighten Infrared Saunas can provide. I started using the infrared sauna at their Day Spa when I returned from Honduras last March with a mosquito born virus. After 4 sessions I could tell I was feeling better. I continued to regularly go to the spa for infrared treatments 2-3 time a week about a month. Then I took off about a week, and realized I was also feeling better in my joints and general well being. So I started back until I went out of town for 3 weeks in June. Upon returning my wife and I decided to purchase our own sauna. We installed this sauna in August and I have averaged 3 sessions a week since then. I have just had my annual blood work and physical. I have been taking a low dose blood pressure medicine, medicine for my cholesterol and had been told to get more exercise since my fasting blood sugars have been upper 90's to min 105 range. My BP has been ranging between 125-140 over 85-95. These were the averages at least for the past 5 yrs. All better than they were 10 yrs ago when I started taking these meds. My test results came back this November as follows: Fasting BS: 85. BP 118 over 80. Cholesterol all in normal range including my High density. Yes I have been getting more exercise but no more than I did in 2014 when my numbers were not this good. I definitely will continue using my Sunlighten M Pulse Infrared Sauna! I am not saying this is a miracle, but I do feel better, I feel I have better circulation, and I am certain this has helped! read more

After doing some indepth research on all the IR Sauna offerings on the market we ordered a 2 person mPulse Believe Sauna from Sunlighten because it has very low EMF radiation and allows us to take advantage of the three levels of IR for health and pain therapy's. Working with the Sunlighten sales and customer service support persons was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. We took advantage of the holiday specials to gain an excellent price on the Eucalyptus paneled unit and some bamboo carbon towels. We ordered the unit with the ART (acoustic resonance therapy) and Chromotherapy options, which were initially back ordered, but in the mail about 4 days after the Sauna was received. The unit was delivered to our door and brought inside the house by the delivery agent. It did take two people to safely and correctly assemble the sauna but only about 30 minutes to install the walls, bench heater covers and electrical connections. I found that I sometimes got ahead of some of the instructions and had to go back a step to fit things properly (like the bench and heater covers sequence) but if I followed the instructions exactly they were very clear and on target. The android based sauna controls were easy to learn and the Blaupunkt audio center worked very well with our CDs. We had our first sauna session the day it was assembled. The unit has worked very well for us so far and will be used as a part of a health maintenance and pain management regimen well into the future. read more

We love our Sunlighten individual infrared sauna and have been using it on a regular basis for 18 months.. What folks say about Sunlighten is true, they are the very best and you will be healthier if you choose and use this sauna. We worked with Jayson Cole and he answered all of our questions and helped us decide which sauna would be the best for us. He knows his product, is very knowledgeable and a great listener who then would answer our questions. He has checked in on us periodically to make sure that we are still satisfied. Jayson is not just a sales person, he is empathic, kind and believes in what he is selling. It was a great experience working with him. My husband has Lyme disease and woke up one day and couldn't move his arms or legs. It has been a long journey but the IR sauna along with a clean diet and herbal medicine has returned him to reasonable sustained health We feel that our sauna is a critical piece of his healing and maintaining good health. Oh my did I just receive incredible customer service from Nick Vaughan! We were one of the first in the nation to order the Impulse sauna from Sunlighten a few years ago. We have been so impressed with the results we are getting from our sauna! We feel great and our skin is vibrant. We were excited about the new feature Sunlighten was offering by adding the remote feature that allows you to turn on your sauna before you get home so it will be all ready for you to get in on arrival. We were fortunate to get Nick Vaughan on the phone when we called customer service. He went over the new features and gave detailed information about the convenience of using the remote access capability. Nick sent us out a new panel and then called us a few days later to make sure panel arrived and to go over how to install. Nick's communications skills are outstanding and he was very patient with us as we installed the new panel. A few days after installation he called again to ask if we had any questions at this time. Nick answered all questions and gave us more tips on how to effectively enjoy all the benefits from the Impulse sauna. I am an "Effective Presentation" instructor and train in "Customer Service" when I am not working in our "Wellness" center. As an instructor I gave Nick an A+ for not only doing his job but surpassing all expectations from a loyal Sunlighten customer! There's lots of new research coming out about the positive effects of heat therapy. Sauna are the best way to use heat therapy. One Of my patients has been using a Sauna for several months and he loves it. I had been doing my own research and came upon Sunlighten. And when he recommended Sunlighten I knew it was the one to get, because from what I knew about my patient he gets the best stuff. So when I contacted Sunlighten to get one for my home the representative was very nice knowledgeable helpful and worked with me to get the one I wanted at an affordable price. The sauna arrived within a week and it took me about two hours to put it together. It was actually very, very easy to put together. There are only four screws and for clips. It fit together like a glove, I was really amazed. As an amateur woodworker I was impressed how well the walls doors , floor. And ceiling fit together. Mine is made of cedar which I highly recommend. It smells fantastic. I've used it several times and I love it. I never thought I would have a sauna in my own home, and now I do and it's really cool. I didn't read other reviews before I bought mine, I went on the recommendation of a current owner. Some people right terrible, mean reviews and it steers people away from what can be a perfect product. Hats off to Sunlighten and their team for making this product available for home use. read more

I ordered an mPulse Aspire suana in July 2023, signed the sales/financial agreement, paid a $900 deposit during, waited through multiple shipping delays, received (November 2023) three months after first promised delivery date, and the Suana is not operational. The delivery was so late the first sales agreement expired. I was then threatened/pressured because I would not sign a new sales agreement until the sauna was operational. There was even an authorized attempt to take payment from American Express. After delivery Skyler sent a text saying the Sauna would not be delivered until I signed a new sales agreement. I told him it was in my den and not operational because the WiFi connection would not work. I was simply a returning customer asking to fix the Wi-Fi connection???? Apparently the Sauna will not work without WiFi. Who knew that was such a problem? I have experienced so much anxiety and pain due to their errors. I figure I did my due diligence, operated in good faith, and was very patient over the 5 months from payment to delivery. Since then Sunlighten has confirmed the WiFi connection is not operational. I honestly want the Sauna, but due to the pressure and guilt Skyler applied I am not so sure.
