Absolutely the best deep tissue massage I've ever had. When it comes to this little business, never judge the book by the cover. The shop is quiet and calming inside. The rooms are clean and very well kept. The beds were comfortable and clothed properly. I have had massages all over the world and this one would rate up close to the top, very personal yet professional. My attendant Onpriya, definitely found all the sore spots I knew of and even some I didn't know I had. Had my first massage here today after reading all the rave reviews! I was not disappointed! I'm in my second trimester of pregnancy and needed a prenatal massage badly! The appointment process is very simple, request the times you would like via their website and someone will reach out to you to confirm! Fast forward to today, I showed up a few minutes early to fill out the paperwork and then I was met by happy and bubbly Sally! She is the sweetest massage therapist! She provided friendly conversation but also let me relax and I pretty much fell asleep by the end! Her hands have magic in them! I felt like a new person by the end of the massage! I was happy and baby was happy! Definitely coming back on a monthly basis! Highly recommend Sally if she is available but I think everyone here is pretty great! I got my husband to make an appointment for a deep tissue on Friday since he needs a massage as well! SO disappointed! The therapist We haven't had a date night in forever so I did tons of research on this place because we NEEDED a massage. I scheduled deep tissue massages, told my Therapist exact areas to work on. She basically just rubbed lotion on me. No deep riser at all. Towards the end she literally sat next to the bed with one hand on my arm and one on my leg??? WHat? She kept rubbing up and down my legs and that was about it! I injured my sciatica and had to go to the Emergency room it was so painful. I couldn't even sleep it was bothering me that much. The ER doctor told me to get rest and possibly get a massage or see a chiropractor. Well I started with a massage today and I am so amazed at the care that was given to me at Zen Massage. The girl whom I cannot remember her name (I feel bad because I wanted to mention her in this) was so thorough and kind. She asked me questions about my pain and asked if I had taken any pain relievers so that she would know how much pressure to do. As she didn't want to hurt me further. She really did a good job doing the Swedish massage. She was careful to not work to much on my sciatica but worked wonders everywhere else. I would've loved for her to do much deeper massage on the injury but she knew what she was doing by not overdoing it. I liked her so much that I booked another massage for next week. Hopefully by then I will be doing much better and she can get in there a little deeper. The front lobby was clean and had a girl there to have me fill out my paperwork before going in. I enjoyed this place! My husband booked me a prenatal or maternity massage because I am currently 35 week's pregnant and the aches belly heaviness are really weighing on me I wanted relief! I did not know what to expect, I've gotten massages before while not pregnant but I was nervous for how this one would go. I checked in and was asked a serious of medical questions mostly to protect me and baby which I appreciate. It's important to be very honest with this! For the massage I was told I could undress to my level of comfortability so being pregnant I chose to keep my bra and undies on, totally your preference they did a great job keeping me covered with a sheet! I layed on my side with a body pillow to help keep my belly propped and the pillow or bed was so cozy and warm! I felt instantly comfortable. The tech started with my shoulders working her way down my side being cautious to keep me and baby safe. The room light was dimmed and nice soft music was playing I could have fallen asleep! $39.95 for a one hour Swedish massage. Need I say more? I booked a massage here for my mum, who was having intense shoulder pain and stiffness. Her masseuse, Luke, did an AMAZING job. She's had massages in the past, but she was raving about this one as the best she's ever had. She said she felt lighter and so much better after the massage. Furthermore, she was amazed at how hard Luke worked during the massage. During the 60 minutes, he never took one break. He just continued to work at the sore, stiff muscles. My mum felt that $40 for that kind of service was more than reasonable. At the front desk, there is a subtle sign that says the recommended gratuity for a 1-hour massage is between $10-$20. Many people just tip $4 or $5, but my mum tipped $10 and will tip more next time. These guys work really hard to give you a great massage, so please tip them well. p.s. They do have a strict cancellation policy: if you do not cancel with at least 24 hour notice, you will be charged for the appointment. Arrive 10 minutes early if you're a new client so you can fill out some paperwork. read more

I love this location and company! I've been to the OP location but keep coming back to Olathe because the staff is always so friendly. I have been coming to zen for a few years, every single time I leave feeling great! My last visit was by far the best I've had. They are doing everything and more to maintain a clean business with sanitizers all throughout the building, and mask wearing. Normally have had a great experience at this location. This time was different. Called in and left message to get an appointment. No one ever called back. So, I tried to call several times over the day and never got anyone to answer the phone. So, I drove in and there were two young girls at the front desk. I asked if they got my message and they said yes. I asked why they did not call me back. They said they did not have any availability so there was no reason to call me back and let me know or any idea of customer service at all. They just sat in their chairs and rolled their eyes at me. I asked them to get the manager and they just stared at me. Was so frustrated I just left. This was the Olathe location on April 29 in the afternoon. I hope someone teaches these kids what customer service is at some point. read more

The customer service at this place is horrible, I got my wife a massage for Mother's Day, she decided to use it today, she tried to call to reschedule her appointment and the person that is at the front desk, not only was rude but decided to hang up the phone on my wife, then we decided to drive up there so she could get her massage of the remaining time we already paid. As we walked in the indifference shown from her about disrespecting my wife over the phone and in person was unbelievable. We've been coming to this place for years and we had never been treated like this. It's a shame for the massage therapists that work here because they are loosing business because the unprofessional person that is at the front desk. I love this place. 90 minutes massage goes for $75 and all of the therapists I have had have been fabulous. I've had Tami Bister in the past and she is great but I don't think she works on Sundays and that is usually when I have time for a massage. This time I had Lisa Dunn and she was great too. I would go back to her again. But, like I said above, I've never had a bad massage here. I also love that they have great hours, open til 9 at night and on Sunday! Don't expect a "spa" experience.
