This was my first experience doing a float or being in a salt room and I have been raving about it…read moreall day!! The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. I thought the float room and the shower in it were also beautiful. Being that it was my first time it took me about 20 minutes to get the hang of floating and settle in and at some point I fell asleep!! I felt horrible as it took me a bit to wake up with the employee telling me my session was over but she was really nice about it! The salt cave was also stunning and comfortable. I really do think it helped me be less congested. My only complaint is that the body wash in the shower was out so I used shampoo to get the salt off and there was no opportunity to dry my hair. I also am having a bit of trouble with salt in my ears but they offered ear plugs so that's just a beginners error. I am a highly anxious person and I can honestly say I walked out of this place feeling like I could take on the world. I've never been so at peace and cannot wait to come back!!

Pricey, definitely. I didn't feel any benefits from both services but my husband felt as if he did. I was hoping to bring my daughter, asthmatic Back here to the kids salt room but I had a similar interaction as another reviewer with the owner. She answered the phone when I booked and then also showed me the barcode and just pointed and got annoyed with me that I didn't understand what she meant as she just pointed. All interactions with her made me feel bad about myself honestly. It was very pretty inside and clean and a nice place but for the price and the service I wouldn't go again.

I stumbled upon this amazing spot on TikTok, and now I make it a point to visit every few months!…read moreI've had two facials from the amazing esthetician Amy, and I had such a wonderful experience. The place is super clean, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and it's just a great place to spend the day. The Korean food from the food area is even better than most restaurants close to me. The only thing is that it's an hour away from me, haha. I would definitely recommend spending the day here, and it's the nicest jimjilbang nearby.

They then assign you a small locker for your shoes and then you go inside to the gender specific locker rooms where you have a larger locker. They issue you a uniform that you need to wear while in the common areas so you need to change into that in the locker room. Since the locker rooms are gender specific, all baths within that area require full nudity (I did not participate in those but I heard they were wonderful). Any service like mud bath and scrubs require full nudity and you can sign up online or right inside the locker room. If nudity isn't your thing, there are still plenty of things to do (just no bath stuff). In the common area, all genders intermingle and there are 5 different saunas will all different temperatures and all different themes. They have a sleeping room (which is also used for a nice yoga class), lounge chairs, a common sitting area, a cafe, and a small eatery. You can rent games at the cafe for free and the cafe has a huge menu of both healthy and indulgent treats. You can sign up for different massages, facial, hair, or foot treatments right in the common area. I do suggest signing up for these services online beforehand because they fill up quickly (all services are an extra charge and automatically add an 18% gratuity). We spent about 7 hours here with a group of 7 people and we wish we had more time. I do wish that they had proper showers inside with curtains and/or a changing area for those of us that are a little shy. Staff was friendly and we'll definitely be back. Afternoon got crowded so I would suggest going earlier in the day if you're going on a weekend.

Relax Float Spa is the antidote we all need in 2020! How to describe? Kind of like being an…read moreastronaut in space? Incredible sivasana after yoga? A return to the womb? Yup, all of these. Mental stress and muscle strain gently melt away. I chose the sauna/float package in the Zen Garden room. The infrared sauna was for 30 minutes and had my body completely warmed up and relaxed. Then a quick cold plunge splash shower, a good rinse and into the spacious float tub. There is a large door on a roller that opens up into a nicely appointed tub full of warm salt water. The tub is about 5 ft x 9 ft, so generously sized for a relaxing float. The water was so buoyant that it took effort to press a leg or arm down. There is a headrest that can float under your head if you want extra head support. There is a lovely zen garden scene on the ceiling with tiny little lights and soothing music on the underwater speakers. You have the option for soothing light and music, or you can turn one and/or the other off for less sensory stimulation. Post float session, there is a comfortable lounge area to have a cup of tea and consider whether or not to return to the outside world. The website has comprehensive information about their equipment and sanitizing procedures. It was so easy to book online - I had to make a time change and was able to easily do that on the phone, I'm sure online would be easy as well. Relax is spotless! They have all of the amenities that you need to shower and look nice when you are finished with your session. Craig also took the time to give the tour and description of all the steps for the ultimate relaxing experience. I will put this on my regular rotation for physical & mental health wellness and self care.

She was able to get us in within the hour. We went for an all over cryo session along with a local session. When we got there we were greeted by Sylvia, and went through the check in process. You are given recovery flip flops to put on, and directed to the locker room where you change into a robe. From there, we went over to the cryo chamber. She explained the process thoroughly. For someone who hates being cold, I was a little scared to do this. The temperature goes down to -120 - -240 F. You are in the chamber for 3 minutes. It goes relatively fast. But it feels so invigorating when you are done. She then explained all the other services the center provides. After she explains them all you want to do all of them! The local cryo session was about 12 minutes. While I was waiting to go, we were able to wait in the Salt room, that is decorated with hanging swing chairs and a lounger. It was relaxing to wait in there until my session. The local cryo session I had on my face and scalp. The temperature did not feel as cold as the chamber but was very relaxing. Left the center feeling completely relaxed.

I've had one float spa experience here, but several zero gravity chair massages. I love the zero…read moregravity chair so much, that I keep going back for more and even purchased my husband a multi-pack gift of chair massages. It's actually helping him with some back problems. East Coast Float staff and facilities deliver a great experience. East Coast is immaculate to the point of being very sterile and sanitary like a hospital, which is a good thing considering you're floating around naked in salt water. Floats for new clients are $65, $75, $85 for a 60 minute, 90 minute, and 2-hour float, respectively. The Zero Gravity chairs are $15 and $20 for 20 minutes and 30 minutes, respectively. Appointments are required for all services. We went for a 90 minute float. In my mind, I thought to myself, "90 minutes, I've gotta be crazy." I did struggle to relax for about the first 15 minutes and wondered how I was going to get through this, but I closed my eyes and before I knew it the float was over and I came out quite relaxed and refreshed. Each float is a private room, with a shower and amenities including shampoo, body wash, etc. You can chose whether you want your float experience in the dark or with light as well as with or without music. I went with lights and music; my husband went with dark and no music (he had done this before). To me darkness and no sound for 90 minutes was a bit daunting. After the float, there is a vanity room to dry your hair, put on makeup etc. There are some great free product to be used including body lotion and special spray for your hair.

After a particularly rough few months both mentally and physically, my wife purchased me a total…read morerelaxation package from Groupon for this location, which included a 20 minute infrared sauna, a 60 minute float, and 30 minutes in a zero gravity massage chair. I have floated before and enjoy the experience, so fair or not, I found myself comparing my visit to East Coast Float Spa to my regular float location. Here's my thoughts on the experience. The infrared sauna was just not my thing. The actual room was lovely, but the sauna area was a bit small for me. I don't sauna often, but when I do I like to lay down. The booth was too short to even accommodate my 6'3" frame in a reclining position using the back support against one of the walls. I also whacked my head pretty good when I stood up when my time was up. This was no one's fault but my own, but just another note about the size of the actual sauna booth. The float tub and shower/changing room was perfectly functional and comfortable, and I had a very nice float. Far superior to any float capsule or "tube", this room was long and spacious enough for me to stretch my arms over my head or spread them out to both sides with a few inches to spare in each direction. While this was a very nice float tub, it was very clinical and sterile feeling. This is where my unavoidable comparisons started really piling up. The float tubs at Float NJ in Marlton are just...nicer. There is little to no difference functionally, but there is much more thought behind the aesthetics at Float NJ, and if I'm going somewhere for a total relaxation experience, those things make a difference to me. Finally, after showering off again, I headed to the pot-float room for my zero gravity massage chair time. Good God was that thing amazing! Definitely the highlight of the experience and the perfect way to wrap up my time at East Coast Float Spa. Just a word or warning: if you are claustrophobic, this may not be for you. The chair tilts back and really envelops your arms, legs and even head. It felt pretty amazing for me, but I could see some people have serious, "Nope" moments. So, I very much enjoyed my time at East Coast Float Spa, but I didn't enjoy the main event as much as I do at Float NJ. The staff were all very nice and attentitve and the facility was very clean and well maintained, but given their similar price points, even with East Coast being much closer to me, I don't think I would come here to float again. Those massage chairs on the other hand, I'd pop in there any time for those!
