Floating forest sauna
Selvi H.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Craig the owner is amazing and makes this place stand out a lot from the rest. He's truly passionate about what he does and the love he puts into it really shows. Highly recommend if you are looking to destress, manage pain, and do some deep soul healing. I really love the personal touches they strive for like having your name on the doors. The themed rooms are really fun as well - it really creates a special transcendent experience. I struggle with anxiety and really felt at home here. I love that you can decompress in their lounge with a hot cup of tea and good book from their small library on all things spiritual/ healing afterwards as well. Can't wait to come back!

The after room journal. Share your feelings or drawings using the colored pens provided. This was in the book just waiting to make me Smile.

The float spa is total bliss for the body and mind with overall effects lasting days. This was my second visit. The 1st one left me totally relaxed for 3 solid days. I love the infrared sauna followed by the salt water float. Then your experience is completely surreal with the after lounge. Soft lights and chairs, water or tea wrapped up in a simple meditative down time. It's really a bargain for 90 minutes of self care. TREAT YOURSELF. You will heal and grow from the experience.

This is a great place! I am so impressed with the attention to details from the well appointed facilities to the organic shampoos and even the thoughtful tea selection. Relax is an excellent place to take care of yourself and keep stress in check. For a cancer survivor, self care is a top priority for me and this place makes it easy. Highly recommended.

I had Hillary for my massage and she was attentive, hit all the right spots, and took her time. There were knots I didn't even know I had that she took well care of. Followed up my massage with a sauna session and when I tell you you have to do both... DO BOTH. It helped so much to ease the achiness that naturally comes from a massage that works all your muscles. It's a very meditative, relaxing, detoxing experience. I left feeling so energized, renewed! And all the staff were warm and welcoming overall. I will certainly be back!

My first massage was ok, solid but nothing that would have pushed me to return. She was kind, listened to my concerns, but I need very specific type of massage and therapy for my needs. She absolutely tried her best, it just wasn't up to par for me. My second massage with cupping was much better, from the owner Sara! Her technique was very good, and what I'm usually looking for. She did a great job warming up my body, slowly increasing mobility and stretching certain areas, and then isolated certain muscles and kneaded a lot of my tension out in the areas I expressed to her. I'm not sure if cupping actually does anything, feels more like a pseudoscience to me. But based on my experience, I would absolutely return for a massage with Sara. The space is absolutely beautiful as well, see pictures. I would recommend this business based on my experiences! I have not attended yoga or their sauna yet, so cannot comment on that.

She was able to get us in within the hour. We went for an all over cryo session along with a local session. When we got there we were greeted by Sylvia, and went through the check in process. You are given recovery flip flops to put on, and directed to the locker room where you change into a robe. From there, we went over to the cryo chamber. She explained the process thoroughly. For someone who hates being cold, I was a little scared to do this. The temperature goes down to -120 - -240 F. You are in the chamber for 3 minutes. It goes relatively fast. But it feels so invigorating when you are done. She then explained all the other services the center provides. After she explains them all you want to do all of them! The local cryo session was about 12 minutes. While I was waiting to go, we were able to wait in the Salt room, that is decorated with hanging swing chairs and a lounger. It was relaxing to wait in there until my session. The local cryo session I had on my face and scalp. The temperature did not feel as cold as the chamber but was very relaxing. Left the center feeling completely relaxed.

I can see why it's loved and a great community experience, but it isn't my speed. The facilities all seem to be in good order- cold room, hammam, hot tubs, pools, plunge area, infrared, steam saunas, you DO have it all right here and can stay for ages including BYOB with many groups just drinking and rotating around while relaxing with friends. The atmosphere is cacophony- dozens of signs from different times and different fonts and different warnings plastered on every single surface. Hallways are small and dark. You have slippers and robes and towels easily available and everything you get is well priced. It's simply too loud for my spa preferences. It was odd who was asked to hand over phones to keep behind the front desk and who was not. And the shower in the ladies bathroom IS in bad shape. But I can see why it's hard to find parking during peak times and will be a go to place for many.

However, the staff began rushing us to leave significantly earlier than the posted closing hours. They started turning off the lights, stopped the music, and began cleaning right around us. It was clear they wanted us out -- despite the fact that we were still well within the allowed time. When we calmly questioned this and asked for an explanation, instead of engaging in a respectful dialogue, the staff called the police. Let me repeat that: the police were called simply because we were present during business hours and politely asked why we were being pushed out. It was humiliating, absurd, and completely uncalled for. I have rarely seen such blatant disrespect toward paying customers. An establishment that calls the police on well-behaved guests does not deserve even a single star. This kind of behavior by the staff is shameful and shows a complete lack of professionalism. I strongly recommend that management urgently review their service standards and retrain the staff. My friends and I will never return -- and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I decided to try a Korean body scrub which I've never experienced before which was $95 and included daily admission. After you pay at the front, men and women are separated into their own locker rooms. The locker room isn't that big and felt a little crowded at times. The women's locker room has 2 sauna rooms - one small one and one large one. The large sauna room (jade room?) was barely hot. More like warm. The other room was hot and much more sauna-like. The women's area also has a nude bathhouse area. I was instructed by one of the staff to prepare for my scrub by taking a shower and then sitting in the steam room. The scrub itself was a very interesting experience haha i liked it and felt very clean after! My skin is so soft now. The nude area is a little weird at first but you get used to it. In the bathhouse area there are showers, 3 pools (cold, warm, warmer?...none of them were hot), a dry sauna, and steam room. This isn't a good place to spend time with someone of the opposite sex. The co-ed lounge area is small and consists of a few couches and tables. There's one co-ed sauna in the lounge (salt room) but you can't lay down in there. It's a loose salt floor with benches. Overall I'd say you could easily spend a few hours here but it's not an all day thing like some other Korea day spas. If you're looking for a no frills, chill Korean day spa I'd recommend trying out this place.

Between the infrared sauna's, salt room, Reiki, and massage there is not much more you could want from a spa and it's all in one place. It really deserves more office space but the way things are configured they make it work and make it work well. On top of that they offer hair analysis to test for any chemical imbalances. I was shocked to see how much excess aluminum was in my system. Fortunately with the help of the infrared sauna I have been able to reduce these levels and get towards a more healthier me. The medical massage has been a fabulous experience for me. Having a sedentary job and enjoying physical recreational sports like basketball, the gym, and golf the medical massage has allowed me to reduce the aches and pains as I age. It has helped me delay replacement surgery for arthritis while re-aligning my muscles to their proper positioning. Carol is one of the friendliest people who really understands the body chemistry and is always striving to stay on top of the newest techniques and devices to help you stay at a peak level of health. With the addition of sauna's for more than one person and the size of the salt room it is a perfect place to go as a social event yet secluded enough to have a personal escape for a day. Do yourself a favor and schedule with Salts Under The Sun today. You will not be disappointed.

Upon arrival/check in you will pay for your day pass/services and then you are given a numbered key. The key will open a numbered locker to your left where you store your shoes only. Then, you walk barefoot or with socks on to the men's/women's changing rooms. Once in the changing room, you will look for your numbered locker which the same key fits, to store your street clothes, so that you can put on the uniform. The change room is massive and has bathrooms, showers, and the entrance to the pool. ***You are not allowed to wear clothing in the pool, not even a bathing suit, just FYI. However, if you're daring enough to enjoy the pool in the buff, the men's and women's pools are separate and walled off. So it's not coed at all, if that's a concern. I consider myself pretty cultured, but this is one thing that I was surprised about the 1st time I visited and not comfortable with, so I have never partaken in the pool. Other than that, the various degrees of saunas are great, the massages, and the food in the dining area. I enjoy what I partake in, and find it to be a good value overall.
