I can't say enough about my first visit to Fellowship Day Spa. My husband got me the full day package for my birthday tomorrow, which included an hour long massage, an hour long facial, and a foot and scalp massage/treatment. I am someone who has had many massages in my life, probably over 25 - so I am no stranger to beautiful spas. This experience, from beginning to end, was superior to all the others. First, the environment. It was beautiful, calming, tranquil, clean and elegant. The bed was heated and the sheets were very soft. Second, the front desk staff - they were so sweet and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They didn't have an attitude like I was bothering them or try to sell me a package like other places. Third, the MASSAGE! Evan was absolutely spectacular. Don't judge this book by its adorable young cover - he may be new to professional massage therapy life, but this man had the hands of an angel. Just enough pressure and paid just enough attention to each part of my body. He intuitively went to where the tension was and released several of my knots (and as an overtired new mom, there is a lot of tension there). I will be going back to see Evan again - that massage was the best I think I have ever had. Finally, the facial - Anna was absolutely lovely, friendly and very skilled at her craft. My face has never felt softer, and the extractions weren't even as painful as I was expecting. Overall, I am in love with this hidden gem of a spa in doylestown. I will be asking for the same treatment for every birthday here on out! I've been to him several times and each time he's targets exactly the area that I explain I'm having trouble with and with the proper amount of pressure. Fellowship Day Spa has never disappointed. Everyone working there is always so nice and their studio is so calming when you enter. But this specific review is for massage therapist Claudia. It was my first time with her and I was feeling so much stress and pressure in my shoulders. Last week I got a 90min massage from her and it felt like everything she was doing was so intentional. I could tell how much care she gives to her clients. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed immediately. Foreward: I had a regular massage therapist for three years. I loved my therapist both professionally and personally. I had tried others to my dismay when I traveled. I gradually got to a point where I was just in need of maintenance. I started to feel like I needed to go back and did some background and wound up here... There is a great vibe about the space. Its new and clean, quiet and tranquil, relaxing and serene (add your own adjectives here __________________). I have met Adam and Kaitlyn and both are super friendly and engaging. You can book online or call or email or send carrier pigeons and possibly a dancing bear singing telegram. Text updates on your appointment if you're forgetful. You can also reschedule online. Sugako is my new go-to massage therapist. Serene and intuitive, she also communicates well - all great qualities in a therapist imho. One day I bought some latex caulk that had printed "clear" on the tube. When I used the caulk it was white. I was somewhat disappointed even though they perform the same function. This has nothing to do with the review of massages but I thought if you trusted my massage review then you would want to know to be careful about the DAP Kwik Seal Plus caulk conundrum. I've been suffering for a little over a month with neck pain that traveled down into my upper back. The pain was causing me physical and mental discomfort. Not able to lift weights, run or hold my baby without pain. Very frustrating to say the least. I was about to go to the doctors but wanted to try a massage first. THANK GOD I did because after working with Sam Flowers I feel like a new person today! Sam really knows her stuff. She was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job. She even worked on releasing jaw pressure I have from grinding my teeth at night. I literally feel like 50 pounds of pressure has been lifted off of my neck. First of all, the space is absolutely stunning, if you value aesthetics. Every step you take into this spa is an experience, every single piece of furniture and decor is purposeful, thoughtful, and beautiful. You can smell the high quality essential oils they use all throughout the building (they use doTERRA). I kid you not, I enjoyed the walk through the hallway and down the steps almost as much as I enjoyed the massage itself. That's saying a lot, this was the best massage I've ever had in my life. I'm no connoisseur, but I've had quite a few and value the experience greatly; this one stood out. The massage beds are heated - that right there was enough for me to throw my money at them. I mean, an hour break from our two beautiful babies, cozied up in a heated bed with tranquil raindrops and pan flutes playing? Yes please. But it get so much better! They use hot stones, steamy towels, and a variety of massage techniques I couldn't name because I don't know massage terminology, but I can say it felt like a multitude of angels slowly cascading along my back. Claudia worked out every knot and tense muscle I have, and I have a lot, I carry babies around all day. My husband said the same of Adam.
