The lady told me 3-4 days because I had a specialty prescription. After 5 days passed, I called to see if my contacts came in. The lady on the phone said oh no it's going to take 3-4 weeks because they were a special prescription. After the 4th week, a very nice woman, I believe her name was Stephanie was helpful. She apologized but said it my new contacts would take 4-6 weeks from what the company said. I asked for a new pair of trial lenses and they gave it to me without costs. It's July 27, 2025 and approaching 8 weeks and I still have not received my new prescription. I've never heard of waiting two months for a contact lens prescription.

Even better, they usually bring out some finger foods and sparkling wine, sometimes even a massage therapist giving chair massages! So, you can relax, have a little bubbly, have a few bites of sushi or strawberries, loosen up some of that tension, and feel fabulous as you get ideas of what frames will make you *look* fabulous. I found my adorable, flattering, modern cat-eye style Mark Jacobs (MJ377 -- see my pic) frames and was impressed to find that....I couldn't find them anywhere else! Seriously -- I had a hard time even finding them via a web search at the time. Hooray for not having to look like everyone else! Donnie and a few of the ladies there were exceptionally courteous and patient with all of my questions, phone calls, etc.Their communication and follow-up was wonderful. They even ordered in a few other frames that they usually don't carry so I could get a better idea of how they would look and feel....even if I didn't even up buying them. The specialist here was super sweet. She gave me an estimate of $160 but said she would fix both for $150. I thought that was quite pricey considering all of the reviews were exclaiming how affordable the prices were. Okay so after everything was settled she said she would give me a call in about two weeks whenever they are ready. Two weeks seemed like way too long to go without my glasses specially for me since I am basically blind. The way it works is you pay half when you drop them off and the other half when you pick them up. After almost two weeks she called to pick them up. I get there and realize she doesn't accept card, CASH ONLY or check. I had to leave in traffic hour to go to a bank to get the cash. It was quite hectic. Overall I had a good experience here, my glasses were fixed, they are perfectly fine now and I'm grateful! But I feel that it took quite some time, and was pricey considering the other reviews on here. On top of that, not accepting card is a big inconvenience for any customer.

Yesterday, I went to the Winter Park location after losing both my reading and everyday glasses. I…read morebrought my insurance and an old frame, asking for an eye exam and replacements. Lyanna offered a package deal for reading glasses plus another pair with transition lenses. She said my insurance would cover only $49 for the exam and about $30 for plastic lenses. So it would be better if I accepted "the store package deal" I trusted her, agreed to the $318 price, and clearly explained the reading glasses were for computer work. At home, the computer glasses made me dizzy and caused double vision. When I called Lyana she said anti-glare wasn't included, despite knowing I needed them for computer work. Adding it would cost another $60, or $130 for both pairs, and take 10 more days. More concerned with a sale than the issue I was experiencing. When I called it a scam, she hung up. At 72, I felt disrespected and exploited, as though profit mattered more than patient care. Please be cautious and get everything in writing before paying. **By the way you only get eye glass cleaner if you give a good google review!

Everyone was extremely professional and I told Dr. Ben Larson his office is much more caring than the huge optician office I have been using for far too long. I may change to him now. Their prices also seem reasonable. Only one problem. The appointment had to be rescheduled once and their staff double booked even though they had texted me conformation of my appointment. I showed them what they sent, and they apologized and fit my mother in. But even with that pretty significant mistake I am still giving them 5 stars.
