That said, as mentioned in other reviews it is an expensive place when it comes to products and while they do provide you a bare bones Rx they won't give you additional info to allow you to safely obtain (glasses, etc) from other affordable options. This signals that the focus is indeed profits over care, with care focused only if you're paying beyond the base yearly visit. Prepare to spend a few hundred out of pocket for a single pair of glasses, even with any insurance discounts. Also they will not provide you with PD - even if you ask. It's important PD is accurate otherwise ordering elsewhere can result in bad glasses. When I asked for PD, even after purchasing glasses from them, I was informed that PD is an internal measurement they do not share and that if I want it or need it then I'm able to just do it myself using online instruction or methods. For these reasons, I'll likely be trying somewhere new next year as I'd like to not have my personal health info locked behind privacy. After all, why can't I see my own health data?

Earliest she could do the simple procedure was April 27th. Got a call April 21st they were cancelling by appointment because Dr. Cho had to the evaluation . No explanation why she could not use Dr. Steelde's findings. First available appointment Aug 21st. then maybe 3 more months after that they could schedule the procedure. This is just NOT acceptable. My husband had the YAG procedure and it took maybe 5 minutes or less. Contacted Lake Eye and they can do it next week.

As a contact wearer for a long time, I'm always concerned about my eye health. I trust they're making sure my retina, cornea, lens, iris, optic nerve, macula, sclera and that ever important vitreous body are all in tip-top shape. They do both medical exams and "vision" exams (the one where you get glasses afterwards) and I've had both. Even though they stopped taking my vision insurance, I think they still take my medical insurance so I plan on continuing here for those. Again, they go all Henry David by being Thorough. The staff is always super helpful and accommodating and I get some cool roll up sunglasses on each trip! That Florida sun can be bright when I have eyes like Betty Boop! I will say their pricing on glasses is a bit high, so you may want to take your prescription and head to Costco or some other place to get the style you like at a reasonable price.
