My mentor gifted me a visit for an eye exam and a new pair of glasses as a graduation gift. I loved those glasses with my WHOLE heart and wore them throughout the first couple years of my time at Cornell, prior to my prescription changing. While I now only peruse their collections in-store or online from time to time, I have always appreciated how they've kept up with the trends in styles and their wide range/variety in frame styles, shapes, colors, you name it. They offer such unique looks as well and it's just a great eyecare store. Even though I haven't had the insurance that SEE takes to have my frames and exams fully covered here, I never rule them out of rotation when shopping for new frames. I do get a slight percentage off, so I keep that in mind as well. It also helps that any time I've visited their storefront that the staff is AMAZING. I went to their store this past weekend to take a gander at some of their frames and was helped by Lillian - she was just a doll! Super sweet, kind and very knowledgeable of the frames. She helped me determine some pricing of frames that I was interested in as well as looked up my insurance benefits to give me snapshot of what my insurance would cover in their store. Again, my current insurance through my job is not an insurance that they take, however, I do get some discounts with my current insurance. All in all, this eyewear store is just a gem! They offer great service and even cooler, funkier eyewear styles. You cannot go wrong with SEE eyewear!

Store is bright and colorful right on Park Ave downtown Winter Park. Lyanna offered a package deal for reading glasses plus another pair with transition lenses. She said my insurance would cover only $49 for the exam and about $30 for plastic lenses. So it would be better if I accepted "the store package deal" I trusted her, agreed to the $318 price, and clearly explained the reading glasses were for computer work. At home, the computer glasses made me dizzy and caused double vision. When I called Lyana she said anti-glare wasn't included, despite knowing I needed them for computer work. Adding it would cost another $60, or $130 for both pairs, and take 10 more days. More concerned with a sale than the issue I was experiencing. When I called it a scam, she hung up. At 72, I felt disrespected and exploited, as though profit mattered more than patient care. Please be cautious and get everything in writing before paying. **By the way you only get eye glass cleaner if you give a good google review!

The folks at Eyes & Optics came recommended by a friend, plus their reviews are really great on here. He's had a few appointments to help him get used to putting his contacts in as well as to find the right prescription (his is pretty tricky). In the meantime, we went in together to help him find a new pair of glasses. There are tons of great options here and we were a bit overwhelmed. There's a super nice guy (didn't catch his name, but he has long hair) who offered us assistance. Chris recognized him from when he went in a year ago with Warby Parker glasses (that he didn't buy there) and asked if they could help fit it to his face. At the time, Chris was open to paying for the work, since the glasses weren't purchased from this shop, but this same man helped him and fixed the fit issue at no cost. Anyway, this gentleman helped us narrow down some options and then grabbed a pair from the back that he thought would work well with his face shape. And wouldn't you know it- that was the pair that looked the best! Turns out they know what they're doing! Overall, the location is clean and bright and the staff has proven to be immensely helpful and welcoming to all. Big fan!
