I have been coming to this mall for many years and unlike other malls this one is still busy and has every store open. This mall also has a movie theater and food court. This mall is always clean and kept on good condition. They also have Santa here during the holidays for the kids, the only thing is they removed the kids play area that my kids use to play in. read more

Old mall feel but clean and great selection of stores. We were staying in the area and decided to go walk around. Ended up in Dillards and found some Stanley coolers at a great sale price. Also was there in time for the B&BW sale so walked out with a few bags from them too. The mall was quite busy. read more

Second time at this mall bc I love Cranes Roost Park which is right close to it. We were in the area, and we needed to walk inside so we decided to come here. When we first come in, I feel like I'm flashing back to being a little kid. It is a bit dated to when it originally opened. I looked it up and that was 1974. Surprisingly when walking through the mall, it's pretty happening. It still has a good amount of stores. We walked our dog here which was nice and we like to sit down somewhere comfy so he can eat since it's the middle of the day. This mall served its purpose with us. They also have a parking garage which we like our car to be shaded. We stopped at Bath and Body, & a few other stores that are popular everywhere. read more

Everything is well-marked and easy to find. The shop keepers are friendly. The food court has a nice selection of many different types of cuisine. The bathrooms are kept clean and tidy. There are nice sales in the stores and a good selection to choose from. I enjoy that they still have malls as a one stop shop for all your needs and at a good price to boot! read more

I don't know about this one. Malls are eventually going to go the way of the Dodo Bird and I get the feeling AM will eventually go the way of a few Seminole County malls recently - a big building full of nothing. Right now, I think this mall is held up by Apple, Dillard's, JC Penney, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, and Barnes & Noble. But it's getting "fusty" here. One of the escalators doesn't work. There are leaks in the ceiling in Barnes & Noble. It's still a very popular mall, there's ample parking, Crane's Roost is their backyard, and there are plenty of restaurants close by. But AM has lost a bit of its luster. read more

I don't really love the mall but it does have some of the businesses I like to shop at. The parking lot stinks. Speaking of stinking, the actual department stores (Dillards, Macy's) reek of mold. They did recently open an old navy which was nice because now I don't have to drive to Sanford to go. It's the only Victoria's Secret in the area. And the Sephora employees here are so far nicer than winter park. read more

The Altamonte mall is one of the few indoor malls left in the area. It is definitely still alive and kicking with kiosks and plenty of stores. No empty shops to walk by and full options in the food court. There is a theater next to the mall to make it a full day out. Altamonte Springs also offers a lot of dining and shopping right next to the mall too as well as their beautiful downtown. read more

The Altamonte Mall is one of my favorites in the Orlando area. It's located away from all the hustle and bustle, which means less tourists know about it. I love this! The mall offers stores for everyone. I'm loving the Lululemon pop-up store right now. In addition to stores, the mall offers quick and sit down dining options. There's even a movie theater! Personally, I like shopping malls because I prefer to be in doors. This small is a smaller one but it has all the main stores you would need. It's usually easy to get a good parking spot even when it's busy on the weekends and it's nice that the movie theater is right next door. I live walking distance from this mall and I'm glad for it. read more

Visited here on a very rainy Sunday in February after being stuck inside for several days because of the bad weather. Apparently, a lot of other folks had the same idea because the mall was packed that day. Despite the busyness, we quickly found a parking spot fairly close to an entrance. We enjoyed window shopping, walking, and drinking some iced coffees and juices. The decor could be updated but overall the mall is clean. We stopped in the restrooms with our young grand daughters. The restrooms appeared to be clean as well. Our grand daughters had fun at the indoor play are for over an hour. Sometimes the play got rough as there were children that were too old to be playing there. It seemed that several of the children were not under adult supervision as they were dropped off at the play area! Still, the girls had a great time and wore themselves out. Altamonte Mall features a variety of typical mall stores like JC Penney, Dillard's (haven't seen one of those where I live in years), Bath & Body Works, AMC Theater as well as many small specialty shops. I don't like driving on I-4 when I'm in Orlando but I just might have to next time I visit because I enjoyed our time at this mall! read more

It would appear that this mall has survived Sears vacating its premises, and there aren't too many shuttered spaces in here, but MAN, are they eff'ed-up when it comes to running a business 101. I came here looking for AT&T store. Not wanting to be a stereotypical male, I 'asked' for directions by consulting the mall layout map, and looked up the name. Yup - that's where I remember it being, but just to be sure... Lo and behold, I go there and it's got Macy advertising, outside of which, it's an empty space. I strolled the mall trying to either find it (must have just moved), or to ask an info desk - surely there's one! Nope - no sign of AT&T, no sign of info desk. But I found another map, and it indicated the same thing - it's in F, next to Kay Jeweller. So I go back there and ask them: Oh they closed the store ... back in AUGUST! Here we are a week from Thanksgiving, and they haven't updated their mall map? C'mon man! I'm all about grace, but someone ought to be fired over this, or at least reprimanded. Sheesh! read more

It doesn't feel dead. Is that the criteria for a mall to be considered good these days. Long gone are the days of packed food courts, lines to get in to the Apple Store, and people stopping you to buff your nails. Wait, that last one still occurs. After 10 trips to the mall, I can have a whole set! But why can't I find a decent parking place? Are they just parking cars outside the mall to make it look crowded. Anyway, this mall is still pretty good. There are just a few empty areas and many of the anchor stores (Macy's, Dillard's, Penny's) are still there. The mall and the mall annex are still pretty hoppin'. Many of the current mall staples are here so it checks all the boxes of being a great mall. Altamonte is a bit out of the way for us, but if we're in the area and have time to kill, this mall will do the trick. I still prefer Florida Mall and Millenia as well. It's just a familiarity thing as I'm in those areas more often. read more

Easy solid five. It's my favorite Central Florida Mall right next to Florida Mall. I've got so many memories here going back to the '80s I don't even know where to begin. Unashamed mall rat here. I do miss getting dropped off with a $20 bill and having the time of my life!! The arcade, Babbages, Waldenbooks, Wunderbar, the red carpet before the second remodel, or going to Bill Knapp's, Toys R Us, Steak 'n Shake, or the movies afterwards, and so many other places that just aren't here anymore. I've got thousands of hours goofing off here over the years. I'm just so happy this mall continues to be relevant. There's definitely a place for malls in America, ask any teenager, there's just no need for market saturation which is basically what happened in the '90s and the market shrinking to online sales afterwards. Think Sanford, Oviedo, and West Oaks. Millenia, Festival Bay, Pointe Orlando, and the outlets are a whole other equation. Anyway, Altamont's always been fresh which is exactly the prescription every mall needs. Nobody wants to shop in a mall that smells like the '80s. When that happens you've got to level it to the ground and reinvent yourself like the Winter Park Mall or suffer a slow death like Fashion Square. Here, here!! Viva la Altamonte!!! read more

It is lovely mall. Not too big with two stories building. The two level give compact store location and easy access. This mall has two covered garages. It provides cool parking during summer. Most parking are not cover. The cover parking is located near Dillard and movie theater. Why is only 4 stars. This mall doesn't have restaurants only fast food on food court. Restroom is on two locations. However, this mall have a lot unique stores. Such as the miniso, oceanlogy, hot topic, popular lonely girl, and more. I also like the open space with seat all over the place. My wife love forever 21. Of course she won't miss it. This may be she always stay at 21 forever. They always have good discounts items she wanted. read more

I've seen every mall around the greater Orlando area slowly decay over the last decade. Somehow Altamonte and Millenia have stayed feeling like a reel mall. This is a great mall if you don't want to feel depressed by a sea of closed down shops. read more

The play area is a madhouse for animals. The sign stipulates the area as being for children 42" and under; however, that clearly isn't the case today. Security does nothing to enforce, but hey...they did stop by to say hi. read more

First time visiting this mall and I felt I was back in 1992. This mall needs some revamping and unfortunately, the day I went many of the elevators were down. One elevator that was working had carpeting glued to the door to cover up a empty patch. You won't find high end or designer stores but there are old school stores such as JC Penny's and Dillards . Also, when entering from the Dillard's side near the parking garages, the handicapped access door was slow to open. There is a strong odor of stale popcorn that was giving me an headache. This mall surprisingly has a lot of foot traffic mainly from teenagers so not completely dead like some other malls in the area. My husband liked that the food court had a Auntie Anne's which was combined with Cinnabon. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more

I went here this past summer and was pleased to see all the changes they had made to make the mall covid safe for all. It was a little surreal to see vending machines upon entry that sold things like masks, hand sanitizers, etc. it was the first time I had been to the mall since the pandemic but was happy it had reopened and businesses were back open safely. read more

Altamonte Mall has it all. Their store selection is wide and they have done a good job of keeping it up to date. They have tons of clothing stores like Forever 21, H&M, Express, Gap, White House Black Market, and Banana Republic. The department stores are somehow surviving here too. They have neat specialty stores like Teavana, Hudsons, and Things Remembered. They even have a Barnes and Noble bookstore which are hard to come by! The bathrooms could use some work but they do the job. I recently discovered that they have a private nursing room for mothers though, which is nice (funny how you don't notice things when you aren't looking for them). They recently revitalized the center of the mall by removing the fountain and adding usable sitting space. They added some freestanding food cart options around the area too and call if the Marketplace. I like it! Also, the best place to park here are the garages near Dillard's. Very nice looking mall. Every time I came here I cut through the Barnes & Noble and I love the smell of fresh pastries and coffee from the Starbucks in there. The mall itself is very modern looking and clean. The architecture is quite beautiful. Every area is very well lit. There are a lot of family friendly places to shop at. I love all the little food places around the main area, like Auntie Anne's and Le Macaron. It's not too crowded on a weekday. Not sure about the weekends though. Need to do a bit more exploring next time but overall I have a good experience whenever I come here read more

Great over the top selection of retail shops ! If you are looking for a brand they got it

The traditional malls continue to struggle but this one is certainly giving it a good fight. Almost every spot is filled with a store and there are no vacant stretches like many other malls. They seem to have (and keep adding) kiosks to the center open areas of the mall (making them less open). The selection of stores is definitely one of the highlights here for sure. Apple store, Hot Topic, Box Lunch, Big Barnes and Noble, FYE store and tons of clothing and other options. Decent selection in the food court and stands throughout the mall as well. There may be bigger places like Florida Mall but this has a good selection and is usually much less crowded. read more

I'm really not a fan of these ginormous concrete indoor malls but I must admit this one does appeal to me somewhat. I am an avid Apple user so having a large Apple store so conveniently located here selling and supporting their product line is a big plus, each time I visit this location it amazes me that this is one of the few stores that people flock to otherwise this mall would really look more like a ghost town than it already does. I wonder if they get a break on their rent since they account for much of the traffic. I don't how much -anyone would miss this place if it just disappeared and feel the property would make an incredible green space if the structure and pavement could be razed and converted into a beautiful park, otherwise it's only generally an annual visit for me... read more

Indoor malls in central Florida are kinda falling to the wayside. This one has withstood the test of both time and the build up of shops nearby. They have a good number of brand name stores, several large anchors, a large movie theater and decent sized food court. Close by are several large chain restaurants that make for a convenient meal offering. A large Barnes and Noble is also attached to this mall which is awesome for book nerds like myself. It offers a Starbucks since you won't find one in the main mall itself. They've seen some stores come and go but on the whole it hasn't changed too much or too frequently. Parking by an anchor is easiest. Overall: A Little change over time, but in a good way! read more

Not the biggest or best mall I have visited. Nonetheless, it's very clean and has all the essential stores in a mall one would need. I also love the fact it has an Apple store! The department stores are pretty small, so you're not going to have a large selection to choose from. Most malls generally have plenty of comfy chairs and benches placed throughout to sit and rest, etc. This mall has a few hard benches here and there, but not many. They definitely need to add more so I can have a place to plop hubby down. If I want something from Coach or Apple, I'll purposely head to this mall. Both stores have excellent customer service. But if I want to just shop, I won't be going to this mall. read more

Great variety of stores, and always clean. I do believe it is busier than most mall that I'm used to... I wish there were more escalators in the mall, but who can complain really. There are many options for food as well. I personally love Docs Popcorn, they have refillable drinks and popcorn buckets. Makes my dieting even harder lol. I will continue to come back to this location even though the traffic in the parking lot can be a bit hectic with the way it's setup. read more

The mall was very busy with a few sales going on at Dillards, Sears and JCP. I also stopped by Sephora for a special night moisturizer and because I am in their rewards program and I have birthday coming up ...Winning I received a free gift. I selected a day moisturizer made by Clinique. I also stopped at a fairly new store that has a variety of cosmetics with Korean and Japanese skin care products. The store is Riley Rose and I will for sure return to check out more items. Today I picked up some lash serum and vitamin c serum. read more

In the past few years since online shopping malls have definitely been struggling to stay open and keep their store spots filled. I live in Oviedo and we all know the current state of the Oviedo mall so I would consider this my home mall. I was surprised at the selection of stores that are still open. American eagle, forever 21, Francesca's, Barns and Noble, to name a few... it's much more pleasant traveling 20 minutes here instead of 45-50 minutes to the Florida Mall which has just about the same selection. The mall is also very clean and well taken care of. I felt safe and socially distanced and stores were taking precautions at how many customers they allowed in at once. read more

Great store selection and perfect location. Very close to I-4 which makes it an extra convenient stop. A wide store selection, comparable to Florida Mall. They also have exclusive stores that are not easy to find on every shopping center. Good food court and an excellent theater. Lots of parking spaces and easy to get around. read more

It's ok. Getting better. Especially with the up and coming surrounding area of Crane's Roost Park, the neighborhood is really looking up. I remember this was the first mall I laid eyes on when I moved from PA and I thought to myself... they call this a mall? The one thing I am really not diggin' is the addition of the tattoo shop on the first level. A tattoo shop in a mall... ummmmm... no! It kinda made me squirm and I love tattoos - just ummm... not in a mall people! So weird to me. I love that Apple is now here and I don't have to drive to Millenia to fight the tourist crowd when I need a quick fix. I love the Macy's here too, not overwhelming and convenient! They have some ok nail and hair salons too. I used to go here all the time but have ventured out to other locations because of other reasons but if I was in a rush, I would trust these options to hit up this mall to get my needs fulfilled. read more
