It is a more upscale and pricy area, so the shops reflect that for the most part. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at; Boca, Panera, BriarPatch, to name a few, there's a good variety! I love going to Spice and Tea for their selections of spices and an Iced Crème Brûlée Tea. There are also services like glasses and a Truist bank on Park Ave. plenty of services to choose from! Even a real estate agent office! There are shops for everyone! Kathmandu for Crystals and metaphysical goods. Achiest Olive for oils, vinegar and pantry items!

I really wanted to visit a Lilly Pulitzer store, and saw there was one located in Winter Park. I saw that there was other shopping options, and a Tiffany glass museum, so decided to spend my day here. I had no idea what a wonderful visit my day would turn out to be! There are wonderful places to eat, great shopping, a museum, and a park. I didn't have trouble finding parking, but I could see where it would be difficult on a busy day. I would highly recommend this area if you are in town visiting.

The plaza is connected to Cranes Roost Park, several top-rated hotels, apartments/condos/lofts, office space, and more. The plaza is very clean, offers ample parking space for patrons, and colorful buildings to add to the tropical year-round weather. I could honestly spend hours browsing here, but I do need to be looking for something specific in order to have success. I love to shop here for shoes and clothing brands that I love at more affordable prices. Most recently I was looking for leather loafers for work and shorts for summer. I was able to find both! I got some very comfortable Cole Haan loafers and a couple pairs of athletic shorts/skorts, plus a pair of jean shorts. They had some really cute pajamas as well, but I used self control and did not purchase them. I also love to shop here for toddler shoes for my son. They have discounted Adidas, Converse, New Balance, etc. in his tiny size and they are just adorable.

I have been told that the main problem is that the rent is ridiculously high so no businesses can afford to be here. That's pretty sad. The Winter Springs Ghost Town Center…read more This plaza was the folly of the contractor and the Winter Springs City Commission. The place was given tax breaks, building code accommodations, etc... so Winter Springs could have a "downtown". Well, if that was the goal, they failed miserably. Most of the Ghost Town Center is empty and the real estate company is not dropping the rent to attract more business. Too many businesses have failed or moved out. Even the Wendy's burger joint couldn't stay open. There are some good points. I LOVE the Publix there! The staff is top-notch and friendly. The deli makes a really good sub and the sale items are rarely out of stock. They just remodeled (even though it wasn't very old) and looks better. They have a farmer's market there on Saturday mornings, but there aren't many farmers there. People just buy a case of, for example, tomatoes from the real Farmer's market in Sanford and just mark them up. However, there was a couple selling free-range eggs and another selling honey. They were legitimate. The only restaurants that have stayed in business are the Subway and the Tijuana Flats. There is a wine shop but who knows how long they will stay there. There was a seafood restaurant that closed one day, with a note on the door that is closed due to the flu. That was there for a month or two and never opened back up. Another restaurant location has been a Beef O'Brady's, a Mexican place and two or three other restaurants. None of them could make it. Behind the Ghost Town Center is a city park that is well maintained. There is a memorial to fallen service members there. The Winter Springs Art Festival is located there. If you are local, it's a good place to shop, but there is nothing worth driving more than 10 miles for at this place... Unless you like looking at empty storefronts.
