The worst customer service, I went there to buy a pair of sunglasses, and I was looking for something nice, after 2 minutes I notice the mall security guard standing next to me and stare at me. I was going to get the sunglasses but when I saw him, I decided to leave the place. Maybe when I come here I catch the employes at a really good time and so that's why I can't really complain? But I've shopped here a few times, once for my hubby's RayBans then again to have his glasses adjusted and they have ways been nice and accommodating. Shopped again for myself (well pick out the glasses I wanted so hubby could "surprise me" LOL!) Again, the ladies working were nice and helped me out. Yes they can be chatty and seem to be Into their own conversations but really? It a mall job, and if you ask them they help you. At least they did for me. I'm really picky and the girl who helped me was really accommodating and made sure to look thru all the specific choices of aviators that I wanted. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for 1. The guy that was in there on 05/24/2021. I chose some glasses I like and he said they only had the testers left, I asked for a discount and he laughed in my face like I was a peasant and said no. We don't give discounts here. Umm why not? For a tester pair you should def give the customers discounts. 2nd reason 2. The lady at the counter who literally stood in front of me at the register and no one acknlowdged me when it was time to check out. He literally brought the pair of glasses to the register and I'm standing there looking stupid for like 6-7min til finally I'm like can you ring me up orrrr??? And she looks at me and snaps out of her daze and is like, "oH hAhA iM sOrrY I wAs DistrActEd". yeah bullshit. read more

We went there for a simple sunglasses repair. The clerk has to ask the manager permission!! The manager REFUSED We were willing to pay , but they wouldn't accept our business. All we needed was a simple screw replaced, and they refused to do it. They even had the screw in stock. The abysmally low level of customer service is indicative of their lack of regard for their customers. If they had fixed my Maui JIm's WE probably would' have returned to buy another pair later. I went to the Sunglass hut upstairs by sees candy and the guy with the stupid colored hair was extremely rude and rest of employees were all talking. The man that was rude kept and telling me to not touch any of the sunglasses even though you can touch them and they are suppose to clean them if you do. Went there on Oct 10, 2013 about 12:30pm and the girl working there was obviously on a personal call on the store phone and did not get off to help us until we leaned on the counter for about 7 minutes and stared at her but by then we had been in the store for about 15 minutes. I understand retail is not easy work but if you're going to do it ignoring the customer to talk on personal calls is not good. read more

This is for the Sunglass Hut (#5129) on the second level of the mall near the See's Candy store. We came in knowing what we wanted and received excellent customer service from Michael. After ringing us up for our purchase, he took a look at my current pair of RayBan's I had purchased there prior, tightened up screws (that I was unaware were loose), adjusted the frame (that I was unaware was bent, LOL) and cleaned them up for me. This is for the Sunglass Hut on the 1st level of vintage faire mall. Didn't really want to go because of all the bad reviews. But went today anyway. The young man who helped me was very friendly and helpful. Wish I would've gotten his name. Great customer service. And I found the perfect sunglasses on the sales rack with his help. read more

They only offer like 3 pairs of non polarized ray bans. I was told mine do not come in non polarized and was shocked to see that they had them at the Walnut Creek store. Not sure why they only offer polarized Ray bans when other sunglasses huts do. read more

This is the most awful store in the entire mall, I worked at Hollister and out most important thing was customer service. Happy customers buy things. To no fail, over the years of going in there, maybe it's sunglass hut's policy to judge people or something, but whenever I walk in there is absolutely no customer service. The only time I get customer service is when I physically go to them and ask. They aren't helpful at all or cooperative. They just stand behind the table and just chit chat. Like I said, maybe it's their policy to have poor customer service and that it doesn't matter to them that they are helpful, but if isn't their policy, they need new employees, and they need to train them to be helpful and welcoming. Will never come back to this store again. read more

This may not be fair but I know that Sunglass hut is part of the company luxottica, which buys big brands and is a bad company in my mind but that's not the point. Luxottica gives frames out to some places like outlets that like to send lots of annoying messages to my phone. I'm not sure how they have my number, but I tell them to delete my number and they text me then, from a barely different number. It makes me so mad. Maybe if luxottica cared they would actually check who they give glasses to. And maybe this isn't so much a sunglasses hut problem, but I can't find a page for the company sending messages. I did research to find it was a black market kind of company. Well if anybody finds a page for me to bash them on, please let me know. So if the person in charge of sunglasses hut reads this, please let luxottica executives know that there is a bit of a problem, if they actually care. I will give one star because I'm sure that service and all is great there and because I know I'm bashing the wrong page. Though I find Modesto Eye Center has a way better selection. read more
