The staff was professional from the moment I walked in to the end of the visit. I was promptly greeted with a smile, given easy forms to sign, and seen by Dr. Roshnee Patel within ten minutes. The store is very clean, dust free, and sanitizer is readily available throughout. Dr. Patel was very warm, welcoming and so down to earth. Just from her warm smile greeting, Dr. Patel immediately made me feel comfortable. She took her time with the exam, explaining things as she went. She answered my questions and concerns with care. She eased my mind. She never rushed me through the exam. More importantly, the exam went well and I was confident that I (finally) received an accurate lens prescription. Via lens scan, she confirmed my suspicion that one of the lenses in my existing-old prescription from a different chain wasn't accurate. Her staff helped me select new frames based on what style I liked. Then, I was encouraged to browse on my own without the hovering nor upsell pressure. I found a great pair of frames in a style I hadn't considered before. There are many designer frames here: Versace, Michael Kors, etc. Later, I saw that the frames sold here are current designs and sold very close to retail price. The frames that I chose were just five dollars more than the manufacturer's website. If I could change anything, I would suggest that the thermostat be adjusted as needed. It was an unseasonally warm day, and it was very warm inside the building. Overall, this was my first time ever using Pearl Vision and Dr. Patel and her staff left a great impression. They've restored my faith in physicians and I will make this my permanent place for glasses.

They charged me $106 for restocking fee.. Then they asked for the glasses back. The only problem is I threw my old glasses away, so I did not have a replacement pair of glasses to wear.. they were no help to me at all so I am stuck with the glasses that don't fit my face right because they said they need the glasses back, and I personally cannot see without my glasses. Without any questions, after they saw the glasses, they stood by their warranty and ordered new frames. (Unfortunately they were not in stock). I was told it would take a few weeks. A week or so later, I received a call from them letting me know there was a backorder on that frame from the manufacturer - not their fault but frustrating we'd have to wait and use an outdated prescription for a while - we're talking months of backorder. However, a few weeks later they called to say they were able to get them replaced sooner. So, we picked up the new glasses within the week of getting their call. While they are more expensive than the chain optical stores or stores like Costco, they stand by their work and provide "service with a smile."

Let me start by saying I read my insurance policy on my insurance website and then booked the appointment through my insurance provider saying this location was covered in my insurance network. I knew before arriving my insurance plan covered contacts and glasses. When I asked the front desk staff she looked at me and said "most people only get glasses or contacts so just pick out glasses as the best bang for your buck." Cool, so I pick out my glasses. As I'm doing so she pulls up my plan and tells me I have coverage for neither contacts or glasses. I try to explain to her that I work for a multi billion dollar pharmaceutical company and I'm definitely covered. I proceed to take out my company phone and look up my coverage again; where it tells me I'm covered. I look at my paycheck where I've been paying for eye insurance all year. I'm throughly confused. The two other front desk staff proceed to sing and mess around while I try to talk to the other women that thinks I came here with no insurance. The receptionist is the only person helping by calling my insurance company. After getting everything cleared up and experiencing what was the most unprofessional experience in a doctors office. I get my bill. Guess what I was covered for glasses and contact. Next time don't walk up to the customer and tell them that they are not covered until after you've called their insurance agency. My wife had to go for a 2nd opinion to an optomologist and her prescription ended up being wrong and had to reorder more glasses elsewhere for her. I did not like the doctor as he was not listening to me at all and said that's your prescription and it will be fine and rushed us out. He seemed like a know it all and pampas. I came to pick up my glasses and could not focus with either pair I ordered. The staff tried to clean the lenses and adjusting the nose piece but still was not helping. They told me to go home and try it for a week and they would call me to check up on me, but if they had to remake them they would not help me as it would still be the same prescriptions. NEVER got a follow up call. I feel like they did not listen to me at all during the exam and after. I trusted them and now I feel that I was swindled and the glasses are unusable garbage. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I do not want any communications with them EVER.

In my experience, they have always been on time! Dr. Shahid is very friendly and thorough and she explains everything throughout the exam. Also, she doesn't take things too lightly and has recommended me to see another specialist to take some additional tests. After the exam, the staff is very helpful and makes sure to explain what is covered with my insurance. The answer any questions I have and give me the best options to ensure my out of pocket costs is down to the minimum. If I order anything like new glasses or contacts, they come in pretty quickly. Communication is great, I get a call, text or email. Lastly, if I need any adjustments, I walk right in and the staff is quick to make adjustments to my eye-ware.
