Well a good manager would've put a rush on it, instead its been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing. When I went it to ask if they were ready, one of the ladies said she would call the manager who was in another store at the time, and she would call me. That never happened, and im still waiting for my glasses. This is really bad for someone who has only been their 2xs and I really dont think ill return. Do better with your customers!

I called another Americas best and they were able to fax my prescription with no issues and bs excuses. They didn't ask me to drive 40 mins to the store to come pick it up myself like the store in McHenry did. With gas prices these days and having to work overtime just to make ends meet, show a little empathy and help out your paying customers.

It's always nerve wracking looking for any new provider but Dr. Wilson and the rest of the team got hundreds of great reviews under Shopko, so I made the appointment with them and I'm so glad I did. Fantastic service! Dr. Wilson took her time to explain everything to me and wasn't rushed, which I truly appreciated. She made sure my contact lenses were the right ones for me and I can't believe how bad my previous contacts were now that I'm in the right ones. More importantly, she had the ones I wear in stock. I have a steep curvature of the eye and have always been told that to test my brand I would have to come back when they got them in, but would have to request them. Not here! I really appreciate the fact that I didn't have to do back and forth driving just to try them in the brand I wear. Kailey did initial testing and helped me pick out my glasses. Great service from her, as well! She's so sweet and funny, she made the whole process fun, while maintaining a professional attitude, giving me all the information I needed to make informed decisions. The store itself is clean and bright and welcoming. Everyone is professional but friendly and very caring. If I could give them ten stars out of five, I would! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

In my experience, they have always been on time! Dr. Shahid is very friendly and thorough and she explains everything throughout the exam. Also, she doesn't take things too lightly and has recommended me to see another specialist to take some additional tests. After the exam, the staff is very helpful and makes sure to explain what is covered with my insurance. The answer any questions I have and give me the best options to ensure my out of pocket costs is down to the minimum. If I order anything like new glasses or contacts, they come in pretty quickly. Communication is great, I get a call, text or email. Lastly, if I need any adjustments, I walk right in and the staff is quick to make adjustments to my eye-ware. When I called to make the first appointment, I explained that I had double vision that required a prism lens in addition to my regular prescription. I was told that the doctor was proficient with this type of vision issue. He was not! When I picked up the first pair, he didn't even check my vision with the new glasses. The next morning, I called and explained that these glasses were worse than my old ones. Their answer was to keep them for a week because it takes time to get used to the new prescription. This has never been my experience with new glasses. The next pair I received (after another eye exam) was worse than the first. I asked for a refund which I did receive. The doctor did not even talk to me or apologize to me for his inflated opinion of his ability. I asked for a refund. I am now going to another doctor who performed many different exams and procedures and, while it took quite a while, I couldn't be happier with the results. If I could have rated his a 0, I would have.
