John D, Manager, asked for my contact information and upon his request I provided my email and phone number, as requested which he insinuated would result with a quick resolution. Well, it's been 11 days and with 4 follow ups emails later and no contact from Mr John D. or anyone else with Tabak. It's clear to me they don't care about the customer after the sale. I would NEVER RECOMMEND Tabak as a good neighbor. I actually still have the glasses case saying "NIKE" and the stupid spritz bottle for lense cleaning . This establishment is a sham. They don't care about their customers or repeat business. Go to a strip mall eyeglass place. Tabak sucks!

Dr. Tabak and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Tabak also sold me glasses that I needed and did not try to upcharge me for what I did not need. With patience and a thorough examination, Dr. Pouyat was able to achieve a vast improvement in my vision using scleral contact lenses. My family and I have been going to Dr Zizzo for over 20 years now. He is one of the very few…read moreindependent optometrists left. Not only does he always get my prescription right the first time but what he charges is significantly less than any of the big chains. For example, 8 months ago I went in for an eye exam and purchased a new pair of designer glasses from him. I don't have any type of vision insurance anymore because my employer discontinued that from our health plan, so it's all out of pocket. When it was all said and done, he charged me less than 1/2 of what I paid at LensCafters the last time I purchased glasses, when I DID have vision care on my insurance! Then 8 months goes by and my dog chewed up my glasses. I went in to order a new pair (expecting to pay full price) and he set me up with a new pair of glasses and gave them to me at HIS cost! I guarantee that none of the other big chains would do that for a customer. He's a great optometrist and a very reputable businessman. He's been at this a long time and I can tell you that he is a really nice person and will go out of his way to ensure that you are a satisfied customer. I'd absolutely recommend him.
