Eeeeeeee-!!! Finally, new glasses!! With up to date lenses!! I'm picky, and luckily found some fancy frames. I was there for an examination for contact lenses. Everything went well. Overall, I enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. They were kind and made everything simple. I highly recommend coming here l, if you're in the area. ( I used to go to Assi, EyeStory. But the drive is sometimes tedious, especially if you're needing visionary necessities, right that moment. And are blind, like I am.) Ah!! Thank you, especially for fitting the glasses, since I lack much of a nose bridge. The eyeglasses held by the ear snuggly, is a plus. (Definitely reccomend getting yourself a pair of the things that hold your eyeglasses by snuggling behing the ear. ) I found the location very convenient. Right next to one of my favorite bakerys, and grocery store.

This place has great selection and amazing service. They truly care about getting the customer the best product for their needs and style. I will be coming back in the future whenever I need new glasses.

I loved the quick and easy technology-based exam and how friendly and patient Dr. Crofoot was. He took time to explain the process to me and answer questions I had about my vision needs. Chris, who assisted with my glasses, was also very helpful and made some recommendations for frames that will work with my high-index, transition requests and strong prescription. While I am still waiting for my glasses (it's only been a week) my contac lens order was ready in a week and Gaylord was so nice in helping locate where my order was when I arrived. I was nervous about switching providers after more than 20 years, due to a change in my insurance. However I am truly happy I found America's Best. Their pricing is lower than what I have experienced at my old provider, too. I love that they have designer frames and discount, or clearance frames available, too. I would recommend America's best, especially if you have a higher strength prescription, like I do. Thank you, America's Best!

I had an examination for contacts ( part of the exam club) on June 12th, the experience with…read morethe Dr. and customer service person, Alma was good. I was told that my contacts would arrive by the 17th of June which was perfect since I was taking a vacation the next day ( 18th). I returned on the 17th of June to pick up my contacts and was told by customer service rep Maria, that the had not arrive and will not arrive until the 22nd. I then mentioned that I was given a card with the 17th as the arrival date for the contacts. She then looked again and now said they will arrive on the 20th ( she was very unsure). I asked if I could get a trial pair as a backup in the event I lose the ones I have. She then said combative manner " where's your glasses" I told her I only have contacts . Shen then said I should have gotten glasses too. I already prepaid for the contacts, and regardless if I would have paid for glasses, who knows how long the wait would be. She then mentioned that she spoke to the Doctor on duty ( she claimed) , and they ( Dr. Fugeroa) said no to trials. The customer service by her was terrible as well as rude. In the future cI will be looking for another eye care place to do business with. I do not recommend Anerica's Best in Schaumburg, Illinois. On any given day you may be unlucky and get terrible customer service , especially from Maria.

Upon arriving I attempted to check in for my appt and was told someone would be with me in a few moments, no problem. One of the staff members needed assistance with checking me in so he asked for help from the GM, Jon. Jon, such a gentleman, raised his voice at me in front of customers and said I told him to cancel my appointment. This was repeated loudly and numerous times to the point where I had to show proof that I confirmed my appointment via text and email. Jon, attitude thang GM, was persistent and again repeated that he called me and I told him vocally over the phone to cancel the appointment. I respectfully let him know he did not speak with me however I did receive his VM and then played it back. Jon, such a kind soul insisted that he spoke with me. Here I am, showing up to an appointment that I canceled... The nerve of me lol. Besides the poor customer service aspect - the prescription to the lenses are incorrect and make me feel nauseas. I also ordered contacts and was told I was going to get 30 days worth of free contacts due to the makers rebate. I did not receive them and don't care to pick em up if they do come in.

I had scheduled an appointment in advanced online. Where I can select from "avaliable"…read moreappointments. I made my appointment on 6/30 at 5:15. When i arrived early. Waited about 10 mins to check in which wasn't a big deal. The lady during that shift was utterly rude. Ignored customers. Lacked skills to handle situations. I had told her my appointment time she said it wasn't in her system and then I showed her my confirmation text message. She found my appointment and told me I was double booked. She refused to see me that day. Although I had booked the appointment a week in advanced. She was rude about it too with her facial expressions and tone. Aswell as misgendering the customer next to me. I told her I would leave and go somewhere else. Later today I recieved a text message stating I "missed " my appointment. When in reality I was refused to be seen. I took the afternoon off of work. So not only was it a waste of my time. I lost my money. Ever since the previous staff left the current staff does not know how to handle insurances, handle money, makes errors and have zero communication skills. All in all they should retrain their employees or hire ones that are experienced. That being said my family which have been going here for about almost 10 years will not be returning to this establishment. And if anyone were to ask about this location I would say go drive the extra 15 mins and go to arlighton hieghts. This location has gone down hill for the last 3 years.

Came into Target Optical for an annual check up and to get an update on the contacts prescription…read more Making an appt online was very easy and their team called me 24 hours in advance to confirm my appt. The inside was very clean and actually had a lot of good glasses selections under well known brand names. I didn't wait long to go back for pretesting and to be seen by the doctor. Dr. Rathmann did a wonderful job explaining my prescription needs in an understandable manner. She was extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable. I felt like she went above and beyond to ensure I knew how to get my best prescription outcome. After my appt came the sales pitch. I understand that with the service will come the explanation of benefits but I felt as stern as I was on what I wanted to purchase that day, the person helping me kept pushing on additional items and "deals". If the manager had listened a bit more to me as a customer, I would have left giving this a 5 star review. Tip: One can use their Target Red Card for glasses and contact purchases to still save 5% and receive the bonus points.

It is a brain dead requirement , because it defeats the entire purpose of an automated appointment scheduling system. if you need me to confirm my appointment , send me an electronic confirmation and I will authorize that. if there is a legal reason for needing a verbal confirmation, explain to the consumer rather than cancel the appointment that was made over a week ago. I will never set foot in a Target Optical if I can afford it. Glad we figured out what kind of "doctor" Dr. Desai is upfront. Saved me a lot of time. Now on to find a doctor that actually cares about his clients.

I went in to pick them up and the problem wasn't solved. The arms/legs of the glasses were still loose and charged me $200 and did not document what they replaced or fixed. I indicated that they didn't solve the problem and was not happy. They said glasses were fine as they replaced the bridge. I asked them if they did a full assessment of the glasses, and they "said" they replaced the bridge. I said I cannot wear them because they are loose and still flimsy. How do you charge someone but don't fix the problem? I will be filing with the better business bureau especially since I'm a senior. Very Dissatisfied Customer.

I don't need new frames next year. Not happy, as I spent over $500 and got no satisfaction. I reached out to fill out a complaint form twice; have heard nothing back from headquarters. Think twice before ordering from Pearl Vision. Not good customer service. Only want your money.
