I have always had thin brittle nails, that tend to get easily ripped off with acrylics. When I went to sunflower nails she suggested I try the powder dip. It's an absolute game changer for me! I've never had long nails now they're so long I have to get them trimmed. They last an incredibly long time and it's greatly appreciated! The color selection here is amazing. I usually come in with one color in mind and leave with something else because I love their color options better! I also get pedicures here which are one of the best I've ever had. There are multiple pedicure options all at reasonable prices. They use the bag liners in the pedicure bowl too which is always appreciated. Like any other salon, some days are busier than others. I highly recommend coming here and if your time is limited, just give them a call ahead of time and schedule an appointment. The only downfall is if you make an appointment, they don't turn other people away... if they show up first, before your appointment, they don't tell them "we only have time for this or that because we have an appointment at 5". so a pedicure for two people, you show up and only one gets done and the other waits. best time to get in is by calling right before you wanna come in and asking if they have time NOW for two pedicures. again, they're wonderful at what they do! but for a business, they should really accommodate appointments if they are scheduled. read more

I visited the area recently and found this gem hidden next to the albertsons next door. I had gone to another nail salon prior and they did an awful job. Luckily for me, Katie and the owner helped me with my broken acrylics. They fix them and patched the one that was broken and it looked it it never happened. This place is always busy for what I could tell but they keep the waiting times short. I heard they do amazing manis and pedis too, I'll have to come back and try them again. Also, did I mention I had a cut near my cuticle? Katie was so gentle with the drill I didn't feel a thing! She also painted my nails perfectly. The owner is super sweet and polite. They were so helpful and fast I really think they should open more salons close to me. Ha! Wishful thinking but who knows maybe they will :) if you are in Auburn this is the place to come to! I came to this place because it was close by my job. I went in, and they weren't really busy so I decided to try and get a gel polish. The woman who greeted me sat me down and showed me the colors while simultaneously taking off my regular nail polish and filing my nails. I was looking at the shellac colors they offered and didn't really see many that I was interested in. After looking for a few minutes, I asked the manicurist for suggestions and she basically said that she doesn't know what I like so was hesitant to suggest any ( I told her a neutral color that would go well with my skin tone and a glitter nail). She pointed to this ugly color, and I declined. She really made no other effort to help. I kept looking at the colors and told her I wanted a certain one but she said no because it was too light. Then, she had the nerve to rush me, and said "you need to hurry." Verbatim. There were two or three people in the salon. Regardless, that's not how you treat a paying customer. This ain't a sweat shop, things don't have to be rushed and mass produced! At that point I got up and said forget it. She said I needed to pay her for the polish remover. So I did and bounced. I called to schedule an appointment, I show up 5 minutes prior to my appointment and I sit and patiently wait for my turn. As I'm sitting there no one acknowledges me or addresses me. It wasn't until 10 minutes after another women walks in and they all immediately address her and ask her what she would like, then the main lady (I'm sorry I don't know her name) turns to me and ask me what I wanted, I let her know that I was the 5:30 appointment and she tells me that she's almost done. I see her sit down at her table and begin working on a lady. She barely began her nails. I don't mind waiting a bit because I understand that people pay to have their nails done well. But please don't schedule an appointment and then have your person show up and make them wait an entire HOUR. Acknowledging me every so often telling me that you're almost done does not make up for making a person who scheduled an appointment wait an hour long. I returned the nail colors that I chose back to the place they are displayed at and walked towards the front door and I let her know that I had scheduled the appointment so I don't have to sit and wait. Again I do not mind waiting a few minutes but an entire HOUR is just ridiculous. I honestly will not be returning to this place. The part I like most is hearing one of the ladies say to her husband in response to him asking her why she doesn't just let the phone ring so she can finish her work, was she can't let the phone go to voicemail because of how important her customers are to her. She then told me to pick a color since I didn't get one at first, the color selection wasn't big and the colors were not really eye popping, i picked out a red color for christmas I didn't know it was going to be see through, I am not saying it's there fault but they could have done more coats. They also were poorly painted A week passes and my top coat begins peeling off, at first it wasn't a ton then all my top coats began peeling off. I came back on the 17 to get them repainted and the lady was very nice and she was focused making sure they were perfect.
