One of my favorite things to order is the Tuna Melt, I pick white bread instead of rye. I like the fact that the size of the sandwich is just right, enough seasoned & not overloaded with mayo. I keep on coming back each time for it. I love the fries too, they are thicker and crispy which are my over all favorite type. The manager was completly rude to me and my sweet old parents. We had just picked this place on Sunday after church. When there wasn't enough silverware on our table and I grabbed one of another, he yelled! At us!! And said I was ruining the other table. What a jerk!! Then later when the dim witted server didn't acknowledge my moms request for napkins I grabbed some off the table next to me and he was an even more of a jerk!! My husband and I ate as Seniors for lunch. He had a hamburger, fries, and soup. It was okay. I had fried perch, vegetables and salad. My perch was so over done that it was like rubber. The mashed potatoes and the mixed vegetables had no flavor and were probably straight out of a box or out of a freezer bag. The salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce and one slice of an anemic tomato. Would have loved a few spring greens at least. My meal came with a dessert which was an option of one of three flavors of ice cream. This was no option for me because I can't eat ice cream. Small slice of cake, and cookie? No? When asked how our meal was at the cash register, our answer about the rubbery perch was met with "I'm sorry" but no offer to make anything better for us. Won't be back. read more

Sunfield's is a pretty good full menu type of restaurant. They have good deals pretty much every day of the week. You get a lot of food for your money. They also have a decent senior menu. One thing for sure, I don't think that you will leave there still hungry!! read more

Pleasant enough service but food quality suffers. My wife wanted to try somewhere different, so we came here. The prices are high for what you get. And what we got was hash browns that tasted like they sat around for couple hours. Terrible coffee. Nothing gets a 5. I eat at this restaurant quite often. I've never had any problems w/the waiter besides one. I'm assuming that Christopher E is referring. Everytime I go there I usually get one of the two waitresses. They always bring my food out correctly w/the exception of my saying home potatoes but meaning shredded. But they will always give me the correct potatos w/o extra charge or any extras, i.e. sauteed onions on cheeseburger. When eating breakfast they know I like my toast to be served warm w/my food and they always remember. The manager also carries turkey bacon so that I can have a bacon cheeseburger due to my not eating pork. read more

Well rounded menu, great specials, pricing so, so. They just opened up in a new location. I had been out of town for some time and was so glad to see they had kept most of my favorites. Pork Chops, Ruebans, and Broasted Chicken some of the best around. Their food and portions in general are great. A few years ago a very expensive gold braclet of mine came off with my coat sleeve. Okay so we went back here Thursday for dinner. I didn't like a single thing I ordered (except the fries we shared,) but the guys liked their burger and sandwich. I had the hot beef sandwich, it was awful. It's the same beef they use for their Italian beef sandwiches. It just tasted odd, and not good. The gravy was bland. So I sent it back and got a piece of chocolate cake. It was super dry. I know it had been sitting out for days. It was bad. So I gave that to my boyfriend and tried the coconut cream pie. This wasn't awful but it wasn't good. It was really thick and didn't taste much like anything at all. I'm really disappointed. It was just us and one other elderly couple in the place. Our waitress was nice. The tea was good. But the food sucked. I'm not going back to this place. By the looks of the big empty dining room, not a lot of others are going either. My suggestion for this place is to condense the menu, cook the minimal amount of things, and cook them well, and cook them fresh. I know the food I ate wasn't fresh. You're trying to do too much and the quality is suffering. Maybe I should give it 2 stars because I've never had a better french fry, but I ordered 3 things and all 3 were bad. read more

I think this is a great breakfast place. We go here on occasion and I love the skillets. You can get either hashbrown potatoes or the cut cubed kind. The breakfast has always been very good here. I do think they are a bit pricey though. I think the waitresses are decent but the management could use a personality to say the least. read more

We went to Sunfield's tonight for dinner. Four adults, 10 yr old and 2 yr old. Took over 30 minutes to get our meal. Long time to wait for a 2 yr old. One of our 'hot' meals came to the table ice cold. They took it back to the kitchen and microwaved it hot. The bread was rubbery. NOT acceptable! Took over 10 minutes to get the check. i was in this restaurant sunday, aug 30, 2009. the food was ok, the service was good BUT the "management" was terrible. the 2 men that i dealt with were RUDE, IGNORANT, AND TOTALLING out of line. i was overcharged and instead of going to the waitress (my mistake) i told the older man at the counter. he said "i don't know what she did" and called the waitress over and was rude in talking with her. then the other guy who "runs the place" made a remark that it was a mistake, i acknowledged this and actually said i didn't want the waitress in trouble. but as we continued to speak he got very rude to me and my daughter in front of my grandkids. i then told him i wouldn't come back because of him and the older man and his response was "good, i don't want you back" and then told the older man "get them out of here". nice way to run a business.......i've read another review about this location and it seems others have had the same problem with them, only they complained about 3 men. that reviewer stated the those men were treating customers, i believe elderly ones, very badly!!!
