My wife and had been meeting with contractors for over a month for a very large renovation. BUT,…read morethe moment we met Kolin we stopped the search. We connected immediately, and in just a few moments of him being in the house we were renovating, his ideas where flowing. He was very honest, open, and full of creative ideas. He gave a very realistic timeline of when work could and would be completed. We added more tasks to the job, and slight tweaks on what we agreed upon, and he was very flexible with getting it all done, with no fuss. He even rushed over to the house with 30 minutes of us calling him when the city reported we had a leak. he wanted to triple check his plumbing, which was perfect, of course. But it just shows you he is the type of person to value his work, and stand by it. I would absolutely, in a moment hire Kolin and his team again.

Kolin was right there for us throughout the entire project, his thoughts and ideas helped turn our simple ADU project into what we consider to be a truly stylish and functional masterpiece. The entire crew was always friendly and helpful, kept the property clean and were a pleasure to be around. I have known Kolin and his family since we were kids here in Mar Vista and it was a simple decision for me to use him for this project as his honesty, integrity and attention to detail I have always known to be second to none.

I called Leo from Power Zone to get a quote for a new electrical panel/breaker box. My homeowners…read moreinsurance said I had to replace it to keep my insurance. When he came to look over the box and work, he explained what was needed carefully and clearly. In fact, all of our communications, Leo responded quickly. Cannot say that for other contractors I have used. Leo always showed up on time if not a little early. This is a big plus since I am very punctual. He gave me a fair price. When he got into replacing the electrical panel, there was an issue that SCE missed. He sorted the issue out with SCE. Unfortunately it required extra work. Leo stuck by his price; I paid extra for the additional equipment which was very fair. The work was done to my satisfaction and passed inspection without issue. The bottom line is, if you value honesty, a great work ethic, knowledge, responding quickly and a person who believes in doing the right thing, Power Zone is the company to hire. Leo is an. exemplary person and would hire him again without hesitation. I would be glad to speak to you if you have questions.

William single-handedly transformed the interior of our 100-year-old home while preserving all of…read moreits historical character. He is exceptional: a true craftsman with incredible work ethic and attention to detail, and a kind, respectful person to have working in your home. A few months ago, the plaster ceiling in our 1920s Tudor decided to give way in the middle of the night. We'd been debating whether or not to just live with our deeply textured and cracking plaster walls, but since we needed to replace the ceiling anyway we decided to skim coat the entire room (and then the rest of the house, which had been skim coated poorly in the past and was looking pretty haggard). We love the character of our home, and chose William because we could tell he was going to preserve it. He diligently worked over months to skim coat every wall and ceiling, preserving all of the special historic details (rounded returns at the windows, sharp edges around the woodwork, beautiful smooth arches in a wall cutaway) while giving us glass-smooth walls -- the end result is stunning. We've been interviewing painters recently and every single one of them has asked who did the work and commented on how expertly it was done. Out of all the home improvements we could have done, this one is by far the most impactful and brings us joy every day. Thank you so much, William.
