Fantastic uniform shop. Dealt with them for years, never had a problem. Service is always friendly…read more(which is more than I can say for some of their saltier competitors whose shops I've wandered into in times past ...). It's nice to be able to go into a small shop and deal with the same two pleasant people over and over again. They only charge $2.00+tax/per hash mark (material and sewing included). The shop also manufactures custom-sized external slick or load bearing carriers for your individual set of agency-issued soft armor. You can get them in both "Class A/B" or "Class C" configurations. Although the apparent default configuration for their LBVs seems to include integrated duty gear pouches, they will substitute said pouches with MOLLE/PALS webbing at no extra cost (if you use an agency voucher - individually funded LBVs may vary, and obviously check with your own agency policies first before deviating from default specs). If you can, I recommend going this route instead and strapping on your preferred MOLLE/PALS-compatible pouches - the biggest reason is that the default cuff pouches on your 4 and 8 o'clock are less than ideal for a multitude of reasons (that become immediately apparent), but there are also good reasons to eschew the integrated standard front pouches in favor of said webbing: 1) The standard integrated pistol magazine pouches have velcro flaps, and are too tall for some more compact magazines (e.g. G19). 2) The standard integrated collapsible baton pouch is just a waste of real estate if you carry a rigid PR-24 or Koga baton (and not something like an ASP). And even if you prefer an ASP-type collapsible baton, the standard pouch is clearly set up for retention and *NOT* speed/ease of rapid deployment. At best, this pouch is probably more useful for a larger-sized flashlight. 3) You can better position your pouches exactly where you want them (in a more convenient location) if you go the MOLLE/PALS. 4) You have more potential for greater load bearing capacity with the webbing than with the standard set of integrated pouches. All that said, the standard breast pockets are fine.
