We have been buying uniforms from Becnel, for our maintenance workers, for over 25 years. Great service and value.

I don't know why the employees make it so difficult to get your uniform. I got my voucher(which was emailed to them ) from work and went to order my uniform. When I went they asked me where my voucher was and once I explained I wasn't advised to take it and that it was sent to them they said they had no access to the computer . Afterwards the girl who was helping told me in a snobby way that I was lucky another girl was there to pull up the email . read more

As a MTA employee they are the best ones to go to using our allowance on uniforms. The ladies have been there for years prior to me going for the last 10 and still smile and great everyone as family. You feel welcomed. It does get very packed but for good reason. They will have you in and out of there within an hour with altered uniforms in hand. Very well organized and welcoming. Absolute dumpster fire. I keep telling my bosses that our company should drop this uniform place because they're terrible. I called in last friday they said my order would be ready on monday ITS WEDNESDAY and I STILL have to wait ten minutes for my order. Everytime I come here I have to wait for embroidery which they force you to get and is not done upon my arrival. Last time I had my boss pick up my order and they made him wait 45min to finish it. The order before this they didn't call me for months- said that they called me when they didn't because I screen all my phone calls. Parking is ALWAYS terrible, it's next to a homeless encampment and you'd think that with how much money they make off of various transit companys they could afford a better location, more employees, and better parking/customer service the fact that I have to wait every-time I'm here without fail. I'll get right to the point. I told Veronica I needed my uniform ASAP and she said okay we will get it to you. When she takes the payment she says 2 weeks. I told her how is that fast? She then tells me to call her for an update. Why I'm I going to call her? She should call me and tell me what's going on. I called a week after my order was placed and guess what? Nobody could help me. Veronica was busy so I left a message for her to call me.....and guess what....she never called. The person who answered the phone told me one more week. This uniform store is great. The staff are amazing and work together to try and help all customers in a timely matter.. some customers are rude and inpatient with staff but come on, "don't expect to arrive not knowing your size or what you need" and still expect the staff to magically know what ur thinking. All I'm saying is come on ur day off or come when you have time to spare because it's a hit and miss with the time frame depending on the customers.. I came here on a Saturday about 3 weeks ago I had my Metro work voucher I was the very first person went in selected my work gear and was in and out within 45minutes the store was clean and the service was fast and quick I pretty much got everything I needed at a reasonable time. Customer service very good as I never have any issues with there service they provide any way. I received a free polo shirt with my order. Great place to go if you want your stuff done right and on time the wait is not long. I recommend this business. read more

I recently visited this location for someone to pick up uniforms & the wait was horrible! I waited over an hour in the car, so I decided to call inside to inquire about how long the process was & wasn't giving any info or help! After several questions were asked to me & I explained I was only asking because I had been waiting for over an hour for the person to come out, I came all the way from Torrance which isn't close. The representative was rude & still no help. After speaking with the representative she left out of her office to the store floor I'm guessing & told the other employees someone's mom called here tripping! I didn't know calling or inquiring about the process or explaining how far I've come was complaining! Heidi was the person I spoke with! She needs more training! I hate to think it's because of MY RACE, but to be honest I believe that's the case! Since I work for Metro, I need to come to here to get my uniforms. The people in my dept deal solely with Mina who provides excellent service and she is quick. It seems everytime I go, there are a gaggle of people in there. They do need a bigger store and there should be better parking. If you need to come down here, make a day of it and have lunch at the fish market. At least it will be worth the drive. read more

This was a complete and utter waste of my time. I work as a bartender, and as such, I needed a vest. I checked their web site, found what I was looking for, and called ahead to check on pricing and availability. The following day, I drove to their location, which is 30 miles from where I live, only to find out that they don't have this vest in stock. I spoke to the same woman in the store, who I'd spoken to on the phone, and when I reminded her of this, she didn't apologize for having led me on a wild goose chase, let alone acknowledge that we'd spoken on the phone. Aside from this, their location is in a terrible neighborhood, and they have little-to-no variety in their selection. They have pants, work shirts, shoes, and belts. If you require anything else other than this, you're most likely going to be out of luck. And, unless they're local to you, I would not trust that they have what you're looking for in-stock. Unfortunately, work apparel vendors are few and far between, even in Los Angeles, and this might be one of your only options. Good luck! read more

As soon as I walked in I realized how good their customer service was, they helped me right away, as I was trying in my shirt and the lady helped me choose the best size for me.
