I needed a button up dress shirt altered for a special occasion. Owner spoke to the tailor and noticed immediately a previous tailor worked on it but was botched. The previous tailor just glued the alterations taking short cuts and it still didn't fit right. LA Leather's tailor said he woud have to undo the work and redo with his work. A week later I picked it up and it fits so much better on my shoulders. I don't know the tailor's name, but awesome job. Great craftsmanship, and doesn't take short cuts and gives you an honest assesment. read more

I have a blue leather jacket that I spilled drinks all Over. LA Leather Cleaners were able to remove the liquid stains for the most part or lighten the bad ones and also repaired a few areas where I tried to spot clean. I called a few times and the lady (I believe Cecelia?) was very kind and helpful! They also turned the job around in less than 2 weeks. The jacket is revived and didn't spend a mint to do it. Highly recommend! read more

LA Leather Cleaners is my number one pick for the best dry cleaner and the best alterations in Inglewood and perhaps the best in the whole greater Los Angeles area. This is the place to bring your treasured articles of clothing that require dry cleaning or other special care. You can rest assured that the professionals at LA leather cleaners will take exquisite care of any item you leave with them. On my last trip in, I brought some patches that I wanted sewn onto a few different articles like hats and backpacks, and they quickly and easily helped me with this special project going above and beyond my expectations. The staff here is friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the tailors are truly artists in their craft. read more

One again, LA Leather Cleaners has come through! This little number is a one of a kind suede mini skirt and it was absolutely filthy when I brought it in. There was outright dirt from accidental rubbing against dirty cars; green tarnish had transferred to the suede from the brass nailheads that embellish the front and back. I figured there was no way they'd be able to bring it back but then I thought, anything they can do is better than nothing. In less than a week they hooked my skirt up bringing it back to beauty!! I have posted a previous review for a light gray leather jacket that I brought in after traveling (it was a mess) on which they also worked a miracle. The lady who worked the counter (and also on my skirt) is very kind and professional in letting me know what to expect but as before with my gray jacket, I knew I was in good hands. After seeing my skirt, I seriously wanted to hug her but thought that might seem a little weird! Some might think the price is a little steep for cleaning but if you think about what you invest in having a quality leather bag or clothing item, it's well worth the price to keep that item in good condition. My biggest disappointment was in myself for not taking a before picture. There is an after pic so you can see how intricate the skirt is and how beautifully it cleaned up. LA Leather Cleaners will always be my go to place, I don't care where I have to drive from! Thank you! read more

I first inquired about the cleaning of a leather jacket on Yelp. Amir followed up with a question about cleaning and gave me an estimated price. When I arrived he was friendly, pleasantly helping a customer before me. He acknowledged my presence and let me know he would be with me shortly. I observed how patient and kind he was with the other customer. Well, he was exactly the same way with me. This coat meant a lot to me, he listened attentively, and let me know what services were necessary to clean and restore the coat. Amir was empathetic and sincere. I felt like my coat was in trusted hands. When I came back to take the coat home, I couldn't believe my eyes. That old, smelly, moldy coat was like brand new. I was very impressed. All the effort that was done, to make this coat look and smell as good as new is worth it. LA Leather Cleaners provides great customer service and quality work. read more

I had a light colored suede leather jacket that had marks from a car door on both sleeves. Wasn't sure if it could be removed. LA Leather Cleaners got the stains out. Beautiful work read more

Brought a 1970s vintage very thick suede jacket here that had some large motor oil spills on it. Every other cleaners in los angeles and ventura didn't even want to attempt it. LA Leather Cleaners got the stains completely out and cleaned the jacket to the point of it looking better than when I purchased it. Would recommend! read more

I brought two new suede jackets in for a consultation on how to protect them from stains, etc. The woman I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable, and explained that, in general, suede should not be sprayed with a protective coating beyond whatever the manufacturer may have already applied to it. The jackets should just be worn as they are, and then cleaned when necessary. I was so impressed with her expertise--and will definitely be bringing the jackets to LA Leather Cleaners when the time comes for them to be professionally cleaned. read more

Experts in leather, I had a suede jacket that got ruined by another cleaner, so when I bought a replacement I made sure to look up a legitimate leather specialist and these guys are it. Well, I went to the right place, my jacket came out looking like new and still had that smooth suede texture that I loved. I have used LA Leather to take care of three of my favorite leather jackets.  And I plan to use them again.  Little mom and pop stores  who care about their customers are hard to come by. The first time I used them was to clean and refurbish an oxblood red leather jacket that was losing it's luster.  The price was totally reasonable and the jacket came back looking amazing in a timely manner. I also had two motorcycle jackets with armor in them which were too baggy on me after losing weight.  The tailor also rides motorcycles and understood how important it was to have a correctly fitted motorcycle jacket for safety reasons.  Another job well done!! I would trust LA Leather with all my valuable clothing!  Personable,  professional, and affordable! read more

Honestly only giving one star because the front desk lady was very sincere however the tailor has a nasty attitude and wasted 40 mins of my time pinning my pants before turning me away after I came back to be serviced because he was late to work. I came into this cleaners to get my pants altered which he quoted me $150 that price seemed a bit steep however I am always willing to pay for exactly what I want! He manipulated the pant a few times still not giving me the look that I wanted. I soon realized he was one of those tailors that would not hear the customer out if he felt it would not look right. How can you tell me how I would prefer my clothes to fit? My request was tighter around hips and buttocks and leave the legs baggy. He kept saying it will not look right. I took these pants to another cleaners in the area whom had no issue doing just that for a lesser price. I understand he was unwilling or unable to deliver the look I wanted achieve so I left without a fuss after being refused service but non the less very disappointed read more

I brought a leather jacket I haven't worn in years and it was very moldy. I called and asked for a quote and I was told $65. When I arrived I was quoted $75. The mold was completely removed but I noticed the color looked slightly faded. Instead of the original black color it now looked gray black. It's an old jacket so not sure I care but I was a little disappointed. Again not sure if fading is normal when you clean leather especially when you're removing mold. The jacket was placed inside a nice bag. The front side was plastic with a zipper. The back side had a cloth mesh. Overall happy that my leather jacket was now usable. read more

I just picked up my leather stool today and couldnt be more pleased! I had a large oil stain on the seat which they carefully removed and then dyed to match the original color. This is part of a set and I was worried it would not match - but it does! When I dropped it off they patiently explained the entire process and helped me make the decision to give it a try! Well worth the reasonable fee for the end result. read more

I took them 2 leather jackets (one in need of serious repair in addition to cleaning), plus a badly wine-stained cloth backpack. Everything came back in excellent condition. They were an absolute pleasure to work with; very friendly, but also very professional. Their leather craftsman clearly is an expert. I am very pleased with their work. I highly recommend them; they were a long drive away for me, but absolutely worth the effort. read more

I'm really disappointed with the cleaning of my shearling jacket. Though it was clear that it was deodorized, there was no evidence that the jacket had been cleaned. There were still crumbs in the pockets and there was a new mark in green that had not been there otherwise. I didn't have photos to prove that the stain had not been there previously, but it honestly looked like nothing had been done to clean it. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I had a dripped off a beautiful lambkin leather Moto jackets. it just needed some spot cleaning here and there. I got back a jacket that was no longer soft and buttery, the leather shrank a bit, which made the zipper all warped. the hardware is tarnished, and the subtle shine it used to have is now gone. and the spots I asked to clean cleaned are still there. they also ruined a Givenchy leather top I dropped off. there was a crack in the leather. their female staff was RUDE. she kept talking over me and raising her voice to try and shut me up. I basically paid nearly $180 dollars to have two of my most loved leather pieces RUINED. its also super obvious that they didn't even bother to condition the leather. I could have gotten the same result if I had just thrown them in the washing machine, that's how bad it is now. read more

I live in Orlando. I had a designer leather jacket with a stain on it that no cleaner in Orlando would touch for fear of ruining the jacket. I would recommend this place to remove difficult leather stains. read more

I don't want to give away that this is the best and most reasonable dry cleaners anywhere in Southern California but it is and you may just need to get yourself there. I found this cleaners for leather cleaning and now I go there whenever I am in the area if I have my cleaning with me. I had my wedding dress cleaned here and I regret it only because I wish I could go wreck it in the ocean and bring it back to be cleaned. But now that it's cleaned I'll keep it preserved forever! I cannot recommend this company more! I was panicking after I spilled a jar of coconut oil onto my new tan leather couch. The stain was about 6 inches long, and very dark and visible. It was also complicated because the couch doesn't have cushions--it's one large piece of leather, meaning the cushion couldn't be removed for cleaning. I emailed a photo of the stain to Amir and he was quick to talk to my on the phone that same day to let me know what they could do. Long story short, Amir's cleaners came to my apartment and in a couple of hours the stain was gone! I couldn't believe it. The company was very kind and communicative through the entire process. I had bought a brand name white bag from a thrift store and decided to take it to the dry cleaners due to the insane amount of in, nail polish, makeup, pen, and liquid foundation that was covered inside the bag. The outside of the bag had minor orange stains and scratches. I decided to take it here in LA leathers dry cleaners because it's near my home. When I came back one part of the bag was very very clean and removed a lot of the makeup and stains, the other side of the interior bag still has stains and makeup stains inside the pocket area. The vet nice korean lady told me it would take 15 days to clean the whole bag and that they would try to take all of the stains out. Well the first half of the makeup was gone but the other half is still visible and they didn't even bother checking the pocket areas cause it's still stained dirty. The bag was initially white, and somehow ended like a light beige color????? Don't think white and light beige are the same but overall the $60 for an okay job is okay on the price age. The bag looks nice and new outside but still looks like a small wreck in the second half of the bag. read more

brought a light brown suede jacket in to be cleaned the liner was stained and I wanted it cleaned... not only did the stains not come out during cleaning the jacket is now all torn and ratty looking they did warn me that a little bit of wear might happen during cleaning process but no way would I have left it with them if I would have known how much damage would be done and they charged me 95 dollars! If you have any need for your leather goods (cleaning, repair etc) look no further. I had ruined one of my favorite beige suede jackets traveling - it got a sticky material on the front which was made worse by my shoe repair person who tried to fix it (but didn't have the expertise). He made it worse by taking out the original dye/color, putting on harsh chemicals and deepening the stain. But LA Leather cleaners did the impossible and made my jacket wearable again!! They removed the stain and dyed the white circle back to tue original color. It looks so much better and I'm so relieved. Their pricing is incredibly fair for all the work they did and they took so much time to explain everything to me. I'm so grateful. Would not go anywhere else in the future. read more

Amazing work! Had a large blood stain on a tan leather couch cushion. LA leather cleaners did a fantastic job of getting the stain out and preserving the integrity of the leather. LA Leather Cleaners and Amir saved my heart and lovely Louis Vuitton bag on Valentine's Day! Some dreadful type of oil had spilled all over the handles of my favorite LV bag and left deep stains. After taking my bag to three different leather, bag and shoe shops around Hollywood, and having all three tell us there was no way to remove the oil stains, my boyfriend researched and found LA Leather Cleaners. I felt saddened and hopeless, as I was told the bag was ruined. He took my bag to Amir and they arranged for us to pick it back up on Valentine's Day to surprise me. More than a wonderful surprise was a happy shock, as I witnessed my favorite bag back in perfect shape with no stains left at all! This made my heart sing! Thank you so much and I will be back with a bunch of other handbags for you to repair with LOVE!!! Thank you, Brooke Lewis read more

This company is great with leather. However they are deeply dishonest when it comes to actually dry cleaning your clothes. I brought in my wife's wool Aran sweater that was purchased during our wedding in Ireland. I asked for it to be dry cleaned. They washed and dried it. The sweater ended up being shrunk two sizes and was all matted up. I should have stopped using them right then and there but I didn't. I brought them a $200 Kahala special edition Hawaiian shirt. I asked that they dry clean that as well. They didn't. They washed it and it too shrunk. This was a shirt that was loose on me prior to bringing it in. You can not trust them to dry clean your stuff when you ask them to. If they deem your clothes washable, then that's what they do. They are horrible. read more
