The previous tailor just glued the alterations taking short cuts and it still didn't fit right. LA Leather's tailor said he woud have to undo the work and redo with his work. A week later I picked it up and it fits so much better on my shoulders. I don't know the tailor's name, but awesome job. Great craftsmanship, and doesn't take short cuts and gives you an honest assesment.

I came to get my bridesmaid dress altered here and I must say.. it turned out amazing!! It was perfectly altered to my body shape and the seamstress was able to get every part of it to fit my body. After the wedding I had to get it dry cleaned (long dress so the bottom was very dirty) and it came back good as new. I loved it so much that I got one of my skirts altered here too. It wasnt a big skirt and only couple inches were taken but boy, it fits like a glove!! You cant even tell that it has been altered. I would definitely recommend this place as your friendly neighborhood dry cleaners :) On a scale of zero to legit - its legit!!!!!

The price was surprisingly fair and they did a great job. Clean work except for a few pieces of thread that could have been cut but I can do that myself. Service was fast and done in 3 days! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and received great customer service. The cleaners is located on the corner of rosecrans and crenshaw next to Louisana Fried Chicken. The experience was pleasant and quick. It took 2 days for them to tailor and wash the dress I had bought online. I was highly anticipating this dress for a wedding I had coming up the next day and didn't expect any issues considering this place was so highly rated. But unfortunately when I got home and tore open the clear wrap off the hanger, a terrible stench hit me. My brand new and CLEAN dress smelled like body odor. I emphasize clean because it was noticeably washed and steamed too. I felt very confused and disappointed as to how this could be. And before I could even think to call about it, they had closed and now it's too late because the wedding event is tomorrow.... Don't think I'll be coming back.

I had a jumpsuit for my Christmas outing that didn't fit at all, and I asked her if she could turn the back into a corset style. Not only did she say yes--she executed it flawlessly. The final result looked like the jumpsuit was originally designed that way. It fit my body perfectly, like a custom piece, because it was tailored by her. The craftsmanship is perfection, the attention to detail is incredible, and the turnaround time was quick. On top of that, her pricing is fair, and the service is excellent. I was beyond happy, impressed, and honestly feel so lucky to have someone this talented in my city. I highly recommend Prairie Cleaners for tailoring or dry cleaning.
