I ended up coming back here because I was concerned that one of the front speakers had bass distortion for the entire day that I was driving my vehicle. The next day it seemed to have fixed itself however I was still concerned that it happened so I had Ryan check to see what the issue could be. They were not sure what could have caused it but they still managed to exceed my expectations in which they truly went above and beyond by replacing the speaker at no extra charge. It could have just been a manufacturer's defect with the actual speaker. Since my initial review I did go back one more time a few weeks later to install a new stereo system as well to replace my old one. It's such a great improvement and now the sound system is sounding better than ever! I really cannot praise Ryan and his crew highly enough for their service and they are also very knowledgeable folks at what they do. read more

I made an appointment for my car just to give the security system a once over. They inspected it, found the problem and fixed it for a reasonable price. The service was helpful and answered all my questions. I will be going back for a set of speakers in the future. Thanks. Ps. Parking is a little tricky, it's on the south side of Thomas. read more

2007 FJ Cruiser Backup Camera and Headunit Brought my own gear in (Pioneer headunit, iDatalink, and backup cam) and they installed it. Gave me a quote for installation over the phone. I arrived, explained how I wanted it installed, and a few hours later everything was programmed and installed. The quality of the installation was excellent and the team worked to drill as few holes as possible. My only regret is that I wish I would have asked them to wire the backup camera wires through a protective sleeve so the camera AV cable running under the car and into the rear bumper isn't exposed to off-roading mud and elements. read more

These guys do great work! I came in a bit hesitant looking to add some bass to my Infiniti Q50 and they explained I simply needed a LOC, Amp, Sub, & Amp kit to set it up and 2 hours later after dropping it off it was ready to go and it sounds amazing with my current Bose setup! Come see these guys for a clean, professional, well detailed set up! Can't beat their pricing! read more

I purchased a Clifford Remote Start from here 9 months ago.....Recently I noticed the Fab going thru batteries pretty quickly..Today walked into a Battery Plus to have the issue checked out and they determined that the Fab was the issue...I called Sun Valley Stereo from Battery Plus and had them explain the issue to Devin at Sun Valley....Devin was quick to say to come in and he would replace the Fab...30 minutes later arrived at Sun Valley and Ryan who runs the business was behind the counter ( bought the remote start from him) ...He went to see if he had a Clifford Fab in his store....After finding one he went out to my car , programmed the new Fab and I as out of there in 10 minutes.....Outstanding Service !!! Its really nice too see that there is still a Business that is concerned about taking care of their Customers...They have my business forever.....Thanks Ryan and Devin...... Michael read more

100% recommend this place for your car audio needs. Don't go online trying to pick out speakers and buy local from these guys instead. Solid business that is genuine on their customer care. Ryan personally checked out my current system when I rolled in, and set me up with his recommendations on an amp and sub that weren't out of the league I was looking for. Installation was done well and clean in around an hour. Several months down the line, I run into some issues with my setup and call to have an appointment for them to check it out. They found that the amp I purchased had some issues and Ryan was extremely quick to contact the warranty to set me up with a replacement. I don't usually do these types of reviews but quality local shops like this deserve it. read more

Huge fan and will definitely use them for any and all work my car may need in the future. My friend and I attempted to install an after-market stereo ourselves but ran into a bunch of problems and accidently shorted a few fuses. The Sun Valley guys were able to fix the damage we caused and install everything perfectly in under an hour and the cost was still no more than a normal install. read more

I had a replacement stereo installed in my vehicle at Sun Valley Stereo last week. The staff was very professional and helpful. The installation cost was very reasonable. I was very happy with the installation. I would recommend Sun Valley for any auto stereo needs. read more

Highly recommend. Good equipment, price is right. They perform quality installs and they know what they are doing. Even with unusual conditions such as older German models. read more

Once again they took great care of me (came in three years ago and they took care of my 2001 Jeep/wrangler) ........They understood what I wanted and sold me just that and appreciate the time they took. Also appreciate I came in at noonish and got me taken care of the same day with install of my alpine compact 8inch sub/amp under the seat on my 2019 Hyundai Elantra. Install was nice and clean and everything put back together correct. Completely happy!!!! read more

After having numerous problems with our RV stereo system we gave up on the original installation and decided to get some professionals involved. We met with Ryan at Sun Valley Stereo and he gave us a plan to replace our system. This was a high quality installation with matching equipment. We could not be happier! On time, on budget and excellent service. read more

Came here to have a head unit installed that I had previously purchased online. These guys did a great job on the installation! The unit looks clean in my car, and they did and excellent job on the microphone installation up next to the mirror. I didn't even notice it was there until 30 minutes after I left. I was in and out in about 40 minutes. This is a local business that definitely should earn your support. As an added bonus, they're directly across the street from Long Wong's so you can grab lunch while they're installing your setup. read more

Sun Valley installed a CarPlay unit and a radar detector direct wire in my car and did a great job. The install was perfect and they hid all the wires from being exposed. I've had many people thinking my car came factory with the CarPlay unit but I let them know that Sun Valley had installed it and it couldn't be better. I will be going back to them for all my Car installs. read more

Today was the 2nd time I've purchased something from them. I had a car alarm installed a few years ago and it worked well. A couple years later I bought another car and asked them if they would move it to the "new" car. They did and for what I'd consider a fair price. I was happy with them and returned today to have another alarm installed in my newest car. I came in a week or so in advance and talked to Ryan. I mentioned I wasn't buying that day and he was helpful and didn't pressure me in any way. The alarm was installed today. Again, nice work and a simple transaction. I also mentioned that the siren on my former car (not sold yet) isn't working. He said it's not covered under warranty at this point but bring it in and he's "sure he can find a siren around to install". Wow. I highly recommend this place; it's the only shop of its kind I'll do business with now. read more

These guys did some great work refurbishing a 20-year old customized Ford van to bring the AV system back into the current era. Even better, they also repaired some internal door issues, and did everything at a more than reasonable price. I had selected this shop based purely on their excellent Yelp! reviews and was not disappointed--excellent work at a fair price. What's not to love? Highly recommended: 5-stars across the board! read more

This is the best shop in town. Just took my 3rd car there and have recommended this place to multiple friends. Top quality equipment, top quality service. You get what you pay for and if you go with these guys, you get the best. I've been a customer since 2007 and plan to be for a long time. read more

Checked out a few other places and Sun Valley is the best. Amazing customer service. Great prices. Brought my subwoofer box and bought a new amp there. They hooked it up right away at it sounds amazing. Will definitely go back for my backup cam and new head unit after the holidays. read more

My system was acting quite funny so I took my ride here to have it checked out. After my experience here, I won't go anywhere else for my car audio needs. In fact, I just recommended this place to a friend looking for a new deck installation. Sun Valley quickly identified and fixed the problem. It turns out that my amps were grounded using duct tape (yup...you read that right...thanks Best Buy). And when I got a new deck a couple of years ago, the guys at Audio Express told me that my EQ didn't "like" the deck. I should have called them on it but was just happy to have tunes again. I asked Sun Valley to check if that was the case. Guess what? The EQ worked and now I can fine-tune my listening experience. There was no up-selling whatsoever and I left a very happy camper. Shame on me for not finding these guys sooner! read more

Sun Valley Stereo replaced my head unit and amplifier in my 2010 mini cooper convertible. They also installed a USB port and back up camera. Ryan was awesome to work with. He recommended Alpine and Rydeem products. Pricing was very good and the service and installation was outstanding! I drove down from Prescott Valley based on all of the positive reviews. There's a reason that Sun Valley Stereo has been in Business since 1978! They're very professional, knowledgeable, and definitely took good care of me as a customer. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Ryan and Sun Valley Stereo. read more

They're by far the best for anything Car audio or electronic. I've used them multiple times and they're always upfront about the cost and how long the project will take. I usually just wait in the shop while they do it. The best part is they just don't nickel and dime you like certain $1 install places do. read more

This place definitely has enough reviews to show why its worth it to come here, but after working with Ryan on more than one occasion I can say these guys know what they're doing and really provide the work you pay for. The prices are very reasonable and I feel Ryan gives you an honest and realistic opinion on upgrade paths. I definitely don't feel like hes just trying to sell the most expensive thing he can and will give you a good recommendation based on your car and budget. read more

Five Stars for Ryan and the team at Sun Valley Stereo. I've had them do three installs in the last year or two, and all were very professional installs, fair prices, excellent audio gear to choose from, and customer service is tops. Please don't hesitate to call them for your car audio, alarms, or window tinting needs. I highly recommend them! read more

They did a nice job to try and help diagnose audio problem in my Camaro. Friendly service.

Reading all the reviews I was expecting great service, called ahead to make sure they would be open at a certain time, and when I show up, they are closed 2 hours before they said/hours listed on the door. Not okay for a BUSINESS. 2 stars. So update.. Devin called and offered an apology which I was not expecting a call back but I'm so appreciative that I did... A lot of business don't care to fix their mishaps so because he did, they will Def get my business. Looking forward to working with them read more

Let me start of by saying I called this place because of the reviews on here. Ryan answered all my questions and instead of selling me on a product I asked him about, he told me a less expensive way to get what I wanted. Now this place looks real ghetto from the outside but do not let looks fool you. This place does quality work at a good price. They even do internet matching. They worked on my brand new 2013 Tacoma (my baby). Installed a custom built sub box behind the seat, all 4 door speakers and a amp. I will be returning soon for all my car audio and security needs. Thanks again Ryan!! read more

These guys are awesome. I've been coming here for my light set up on my Jeep Wrangler jk for a while now. Everything is clean, works, and solid. They have affordable pricing, super approachable, and a great knowledge base of what they do. I'm definitely coming back for my alarm install. read more

I came in to upgrade my old speakers on my SUV about a month ago. I bought 4 Power Bass speakers and the difference was night and day. So much power and depth to my music. My suv is a joy to drive now. All this at a very reasonable price (less than $200 I believe), including labor On top of that, I called and came into their shop several times after installation to ask follow up questions and I found them to be very patient with me and treated me with respect. I met several members of their team members and found them to be very helpful. Special thanks to Jon, the owner (glasses and goatee), for taking care of my concerns. I do recommend this shop. They have all sorts of goodies to make your driving experience very enjoyable. Thank you. Luis read more

Let no one touch my stereo been thru many places and many people who did not know what they were doing. Strongly recommended

I needed work done on my truck and called on a whim. It was after 2pm on Friday before Christmas, and I thought the guy will tell me no. He took my name and was able to install a stereo, new speakers, and a decent alarm system for a good price. No gimmicks, no pressure! The techs did a good job, didn't leave pieces of wire insulation in the cab, and DIDN'T break anything. As a matter of fact, they FIXED a button on the dash! That's what I call good work. I brought my 1991 Honda Hatch here and they fixed the alarm connections to the hatch for free - work which was done by another shop, but the owner/manager insisted it would be their pleasure to help. I will give them my business again, and I plan on referring my friends, as well. These guys were prompt, professional, and were able to work within my budget without cutting corners or breaking the bank. Thank you, Sun Valley, for a job well done! * UPDATE - Took my Mazda 3 there and had a new multimedia center installed - my parts, their install. Courteous and helpful as always, work done on time and fully warrantied, which is how it should be. I'm on another vehicle now and I am sincerely thinking SVS for some audio updates to my Merc. read more

Sunvalley is awesome. They installed autostart in my Bronco a while back, never an issue. One thing had to be fixed a year later, wear and tear, and they took care of it quick. Didn't try to upsell me stuff I didn't need. Can't wait to put the autostart in my Acura. Great prices too. read more

I bought a new unit but was unable to put in myself . It also came with a back up camera. Called these folks and set up an appointment. They replaced the unit and and installed the camera. Took care of a problem with my truck security system. I only have owned this used truck for 9 months and it developed a problem after the excessive heat during the past record breaking heat in this area. I was recommended by Voxx International to give them a call and I am certainly glad I did. Another car security company recommended that I just replace the whole system when it was just a problem with the security systems wiring harness. I made the appointment and they were promptly on it and in the time frame they said so. I appreciate that type of customer service especially being as busy as this place is. I didn't have to cough up 400.00 to 750.00 like some other places wanted me to pay for a simple fix for my truck. I was told over the phone by them that I should bring it by and let them take a look at it. I thought I might just be throwing away time and money, especially if the whole system was bad and I am glad I did let them look at my truck read more
