Not often I leave a review for a "big box" store but felt like I had to thanks to the incredible service provided to me. Upon entering I was greeted by a very pleasant lady who seemed genuinely happy I was there. Before I could even say anything she asked if I needed help finding anything. I was in the market for a new computer monitor and she directed me to the computer section. After perusing for no more than 3 minutes a gentleman named Cash assisted me. I explained what I was looking for, the purpose for the monitor, and the budget I was looking for. He went to go check the system and came back with an option under budget that met all my specs. I'm an amateur when it comes to computers and such and so I appreciate Cash's honesty and professionalism in assisting me with what I needed. In a world full of competition, I appreciate the service and friendly nature this store has to offer. Will definitely use Best Buy as my fist stop for all my electronic needs read more

We apparently got the last two that they had in stock today (eek) but they are efficient and they know the process to get it done. There is usually a person at the front door greeting you and directing you to the right department - which is helpful. Parking is best on this side of the plaza - the rest of the lot is a hot mess. I dropped my computer off to geek squad a week ago. I never heard back from them so I've been trying to call and find out what's going on with my computer. There is zero way of getting a hold of that branch. It's an AI robot that passes you off to a global company. The global company told me that they gave my computer away to somebody else. They pushed me to buy their geek squad membership for $200 and told me my computer would take two days instead it's been a week and they decided to give it away to a complete stranger. I'll update you and let you know if they provide me with a new computer to fix the wrong and reimburse me for a membership that I clearly would never use again. read more

In Store Customer Service Employee was rude to me just for inquiring about a product. He very rudely and unprofessionably informed me that he is neither a Counselor nor a Lawyer , neither of which I was asking him to be. I was made to feel like a criminal just for making an inquiry on a product. Trying to reach an in store Manager via phone is a waste of energy and time . If you are able to reach anyone ( good luck) they will be dismissive. I will no longer be purchasing from this store since being treated so poorly. It is a shame that they care nothing for or about their longtime customers such as myself. Good Riddance to bad service, disrespect and unprofessionalism. You know what! Best Buy is awesome. I don't get all the bad reviews? I have the Protection membership where everything you buy has the Best Buy warranty. So worth it. Also, the Geek Squad installation comes with that, and those guys are so Professional and really know how to install. I've purchased several TVs, Dyson Vacuums, Dyson Fans, and more recently a killer 65 inch Samsung TV with the Sonos Arc Soundbar all perfectly installed by the Geek Squad. I also just bought my Apple Ultra Watch there and with the protection plan, you don't have to buy Apple protection. I've also returned items without any issue. It's been a while since I shopped at Best Buy but I needed a particular item so I came in today. I'm at the one in Camelback. I couldn't find the item that I was looking for, but I did need a screen protector for my iPhone. I look around I they have a screen protector for $16.95. I take it to the check out it rings up as $27. I tell the lady that it is tagged that 1695, she tells me that I need to go over to the person in that department to have them help me. I asked her can she have them help her from the checkout lane so I don't have to get out of line and she acts retarded like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. I go over there show him the item, it's clearly marked at $16.95. He scans it and says that someone marked it wrong. I asked if they were gonna honor the price. He told me they can't. I asked for a manager, he calls for a manager in about five minutes later he gets a message saying that all the managers are busy! Suddenly, I remembered why I stopped shopping at Best Buy. I went to the Phx Camelback store to purchase a Samsung watch. The greeter asked if he could help and I told him I wanted to look at Samsung watches. He pointed the way and said that there was a Samsung rep or expert in that area and that they would help me. So....I looked at the watches and stood around for over 5 minutes with nobody offering to help. I walked around the area and could not find anyone so went back to the greeter and explained that nobody was back there. He said he would get someone to help me and as I was walking away I heard him radio someone that a customer was needing assistance in the watch area. Guess what....I waited another 5 minutes and still no help. I walked back to the greeter and mentioned that nobody showed up to help and that they lost a sale and walked out. I will purchase the watch from Amazon. The only good thing about the experience was the greeter!!! Based on other reviews for this store and others in the metro area, I would suggest that the store managers and or corporate get their act together and improve customer service. read more

"Just head over there," he said, pointing to the Geek Squad counter. What he neglected to mention was that the wait there was more than an hour. So, I decided to set up an appointment via the website. That website is a confusing mess and it wasn't clear whether I actually got the appointment time I asked for. So, I called the store to confirm the time. But they are far too busy to answer the phone to talk with customers, and now, after having been on hold with them for 25 minutes, they hung up on me. This level of "service" is what you'd expect from the DMV or some other poorly managed government office that can't go out of business ... I hope Amazon crushes these clowns. read more

So I was looking at getting a 15" Mac Book and stopped at this Best Buy to check it out and ask questions. It was about 2:30pm and they weren't very busy. Located the Apple section and the laptop. Was reviewing it, and looking at specs. A employee behind me went to help a woman looking at phone adapters. Glanced at me while I waited for him to finish. She walked away and he glanced again and walked away. Seemed every employee avoided the area. I stood leaning on the table waiting for someone to ask if I had an interest in anything. Nope not a peep. I thought about going up front and getting them to call someone then I said forget it. I went to the Apple Store. They were right on me and answered questions. I bought a Mac Air 15" in Starlight and an adapter $1500 bucks. The Apple salesperson was pleased. I was pleased. Best Buy was no help. So they got no sale. We entered this Best Buy on the hunt for a specific gaming computer after we received abysmal service at another location. Knowing it's close to the holidays, we were expecting it to be a disastrous experience as well. Imagine our surprise when we were helped promptly by a friendly gentleman named Lester! He talked with us about the computer we were interested in, made sure it was in stock, and rang us up without any issues. He helped us get the 6 months of antivirus that was being offered with the product and ensured we had everything else we needed (wireless mouse, etc). He talked about the added protections we could purchase but was not pushy or aggressive. It was a friendly and fast interaction. Overall, this Best Buy just seemed a bit more with the program than other locations. We were greeted upon entry and pointed in the right direction, and even the guy checking receipts on the way out was genuinely nice. We were surprised and honestly would drive to this location for any future purchases instead of visiting the location closer to us with atrocious service. Thanks to the team at this store! read more

I don't shop here often, maybe once a year. In the past, I was underwhelmed with the service. That changed today when I had to run out for the family and buy an "emergency" TV. The TV in the household just quit on us and we knew it would cost more to repair than was worth it. Best Buy has some incredible deals for 40 and 43" tvs. They always price match, which is amazing. But, what impressed me most today was the customer service. Will in the TV department seemed almost too young for the level of expertise he has, but he won me over super fast. He really knows his stuff. He knows the technologies and how they work and integrate with the television set and he absolutely doesn't try to upsell you. I had already purchased my TV online and I just came in to pick it up. When I was walking the floor looking for a model so I could check out the image quality he told me that I had made a smart choice and that it was a good television. Even though the Samsung's are the most popular, and nobody thinks Pioneer even makes a TV, once he saw the specs, which included Dolby Vision, he told me that it was a good choice for the price point. Shopping here and buying a TV so fast was a little surreal. I have never instantly thought of buying a TV and then just going to do it. It took me less than an hour it couldn't have been easier. From the time I selected the TV online, then drove over to Best Buy, then got my help from Will (who walked the TV out to the car and put it in the backseat for me) and then returned home, it wasn't even 60 minutes. Best Buy makes it impossible to reach someone at the store. They have local phone numbers, but calls are tied to a central call center. Sounds like the Philippines. I was just at a store in Phoenix, taking two computers to be looked at. I have to go home before they could do anything to retrieve a GoDaddy password. I got home and realized I left the two power cords in the cart I used to schlep the computers in/out. I called the store hoping to reach someone who could check the cart (I was just there 40 minutes earlier). They have more employees than customers. There's a security guy at the door twiddling his thumbs. Someone could help, but you can't reach them! I guess I'll drive back to the store (45 minutes round trip) because I can't reach anyone within 7,500 miles of the damned store! Every appliance I've purchased from this location has had an issue: - I purchased a fridge which never showed up because it was damaged in transit and they decided not to call and tell me it wasn't showing up. - The replacement fridge had a defective and dented handle. - A range hood kept getting delayed and I was told the manufacturer was unable to produce them. I called the manufacturer and sure enough they had loads of them and never received a purchase order from Best Buy. - My new dishwasher has a terrible leak and Best Buy sent me on a wild goose chase to hunt down this mysterious "code" which the manufacturer is completely unaware of. Best Buy refuses to replace the defective machine because it's been about two weeks since I purchased it?? I don't know why I keep testing my luck and buying from them but I would encourage others to try another retailer. read more

I've been there twice in about 4 days. The first time the guy seemed 'put out' that I asked a question. Today, I went to geek squad with the same question. He suggested where I could find 'an adaptor' ("the last two aisles"), heaven forbid he actually would walk over with me, and either show me exactly where or walk over and get someone to help me. He did say twice "the box will literally say adaptor". I walked over to the section, made eye contact with a guy (he tried not to look) and asked him the same question. He tried to tell me the power cable was the same as an adaptor. No, I needed the adaptor. Lack of interest in helping is all I experienced, It's as if it was sooo painful to help. The Home Theater department has some nice stuff from Magnolia. Just make sure you ask for a senior employee or better yet a manager.
