Recently got a new Apple Carplay interface and stereo upgrade in my Lexus LS460. Didn't have the Mark Levinson car stereo in this car (and had it in my last one) and missed the improved sound experience. Aron and the team at Quality Car Stereo did a really great job on this from start to finish. The Lexus 460's are notoriously cantenkerous for partial upgrades and compatiability with existing electonics. From the start, Aron really had a solid understanding of what we could change and not change and steer clear of the issues a lot of other people run into. he was patient and receptive to the litany of questions I had for him. He was flexible (I had the CarPlay unit I wanted to use already) but also very knowledgable and willing/able to give really good suggestions about what/how to upgrade my system where I wasn't sure what to do. Took my 2005 Hyundai Tiburon SE in to this shop yesterday. The bracket that holds the gauges and radio had broken and the whole unit had fallen down into the dash. I have rarely received such outstanding customer service! Every single associate from the desk to the installer treated myself and my old car as if it were the only one there. Although they were busy, they still were able to work the repair into the schedule for that day. The repair was completed in less than an hour and the work was excellent. It looks as though it is new! The installer even reprogrammed the radio (which is not easy on this unit). The price was super-reasonable as well. I could not be more pleased! read more

I came here to fix what another shop did to my car (installed a crappy Marine mini amp behind my dash unit) and wanted to suggest crappy/cheap speakers lol. IT WAS MY FAULT since I had no idea what I was doing. I wanted the prior amp removed, and I wanted an audison sr4 (that i provided), along with kicker speakers/tweeters installed in my 2017 ford taurus. Here are the pros & cons: Pros: 1. Decent audio Install/tweaking. The sound was beyond amazing (in the front speakers lol). Made me want to drive the car for longer. 2. Decent Cable management 3. Fair pricing on the labor. 4. Great initial scheduling. I was able to get my car in the next day for the installations. CONS: 1. Bad tuning. My rear speakers were clipping TERRIBLY. 2. Bad Pricing on the speakers (about $40-50 over retail on both pairs). 3. Bad quality management. There were a lot of loose parts in the dash board and door panels that I had to snap back into place. 4. Poor communication. I brought in my car at 10am. I was told to come down at 4:45. I didn't retrieve my vehicle until after 6pm, well after the store was closed. Overall. It was a solid experience (3.5/5). read more

Walked in and asked how much for a car radio install. The people there were really nice, but after asking questions of how much it is going to cost..... They gave me four different answers. One person said $250., other person said it's gonna be about $500, Then quoted me at $600? just so you know, I brought everything with me already. No need to purchase anything.. I was really hoping this would work out, but really disappointed . His business has gotten really big and really expensive after moving . Honestly I just stopped by to get a quote on a new head unit, not expecting to make a purchase. After explaining what I wanted, they had a wide variety of competitively priced units to choose from and I even expressed wanting to possibly upgrade my speakers for better sound quality. The guy was so cool, explaining how upgrading to a better quality head unit typically results in increased sound quality to begin with.. He advised me to hold off on a speaker purchase and first see how the quality is after the head unit install.. this guy could have easily sold me a bunch of unnecessary crap, but I legitimately think he had my best interest in mind. After that, I was sold on giving these guys my business. They were able to get me in and complete the install so freaking fast and they did really great work. I was literally astonished. I am so impressed with this company!! This is my second great experience with them! My truck speakers were making a horrible noise when I would turn the volume up on my music. Thinking the speakers were old and needed to be replaced I took it to Quality Care Stereo and worked with Ben, who was super knowledgable and friendly! He concurred that my front speakers needed to be replaced. I dropped my truck off to have the work done came back a half hour later to find that all that needed to be done was clipping and taking out the old factory speakers that were just rattling around in there. During this COVID-19 times many are being taken advantage of because of financial hardships. Ben at Quality Car Stereo could have completely taken advantage of me especially since I know nothing about car stereo equipment and he didn't. For my kiddo's sixteenth birthday, I purchased a new radio and speakers from Crutchfield and brought it to Quality for them to install. They were courteous and very quick. We would up having some issues about a month later and they checked it over despite not having a warranty through them. (We didn't know a workmanship warranty wasn't provided if you don't purchase through Quality.) However, it was checked out free of charge, we were given great news, and he showed my daughter how to clean out the iPhone port. I needed a new stereo and rear view camera added to my truck. I read reviews on yelp and chose 4 places to visit. After the 3rd stop I was getting discouraged. None of the shops made me feel comfortable. Either they didn't seem to care about my business (not enough $$ for them to care) or they had kids selling the equipment on commission who pushed more expensive equipment then I wanted or needed. Then I stopped by Quality Car Stereo and talked to Chase. The moment I started talking to Chase I could tell he was listening to my needs and not just looking for another sale. I told him my requirements and my budget and he put together a package that had all I needed and a couple things I wanted but didn't think were in my buget. After we decided what I wanted he was able to set up an appointment the following Monday. I had some things going on so I was able to drop off my truck and when I returned everything was installed and ready to go. I stopped here because of all the great reviews I read. I looked at best buy, amazon, etc and never got the answers I was looking for. After walking in all my questions where answered, I got a quote on the pioneer I wanted, and my timing was great because they just finished a car early and got my truck in right away. I went online and found the equipment and bought it online so I started to shop around for someone to install. I went to two other places and because I bought the subwoofer and I knew they would charge me a lot for the install but I was shocked by how much. I wanted a new radio and two cameras for my truck, a back up camera for my truck and one for my RV. My store visit was good, the staff seemed knowledgeable so I bought a new touch screen radio and back up camera. Installation was an all day affair. During the installation they figured out the radio quoted would not support two cameras so they installed a more expensive radio with no upcharge to me. They deserve kudos for this, but, 6 hours when I was told 3 for the install? Then the unit didn't work as promised. A return visit, some adjustments and two more hours to repair the cabling so the dual cameras would work is too much. They do deserve credit for sticking with it and getting the unit to work but the low rating is for the multiple mistakes made for the quote and install. read more

I came to "Quality" with an unusual request. My new car had an annoying rattle in the dash. The dealership couldn't find it and frankly didn't care. I thought I would look for a highly rated car audio place and see if they would be willing to check it out. Ryan at "Quality" took the time to look at my Charger and upon hearing the rattle said "Oh yeah, that would drive me nuts. We'll find it." Wanted some new speakers to replace old ones that didn't work well anymore, and they definitely have a full range of choices to choose from. When they installed the new speakers, they damaged a sensitive electrical junction coupler in the passenger side door that still gives me trouble. I've taken it to many shops for repair and the only resolution was to replace all the wiring on that side of the car - $$$. I got a good price on the speakers but a larger cost to fix the problem they caused. Buyer beware! read more
