Quality Car Stereo did an incredible job with my Jeep Wrangler. Jeeps are notorious for having terrible audio because of the location of the factory speakers. Chase, the owner, and the team there not only knew what specific speakers, amp and deck would sounds best, they also knew exactly how to make the install look completely factory. The system sounds full, clear and sounds great with everything from country to hip hop. To top things off, best prices I could find, I highly recommend you check them out! read more

They sold me a dual toggle switch with the promise of finding simple instructions on YouTube. I bought it and there were plenty of switch installation videos on YouTube but after about an hour of searching found none for this particular configuration. I went to an atv store that I have dealt with in the past and bought theirs (that comes with comprehensive instructions) for less $ but same switch manufacturer and a common configuration. Took the switch back to return it (still in the original packaging and unopened) they said "no returns on electronics" mind you, that's all they sell. It's an ATV stereo store. Ended up using their switch because it couldn't be returned. I had to contact the switch manufacturer to get a diagram. Switch works fine but not nearly as easy as "look it up on YouTube" In my opinion, they charge a premium so I expected premium support and customer service. read more

I just called 5 mins ago and whoever answered the phone was terrible at their job! They weren't helpful at all! Haha the name quality is the wrong name for this store.. They don't have quality amps at all! Idk why you'd call yourself quality if everything isn't quality! No JL Audio, that's quality.. So 1 star.. Very disappointed.. read more

Chase and Mike are understanding, knowledgable, and honest. Worked out a solid deal on a full stereo system... Came in for one thing, wanted more, and they worked a deal. Support the small shops. They'll treat you well read more

After reading reviews on Yelp for several car audio shops, I stopped in at Quality Car Stereo a few weeks back. I was looking to upgrade the sound system in my Toyota, while retaining the O.E. head unit (easier for the wife to accept and use). Chase was very accommodating and we talked about my budget and expectation for the system. He explained several options for me, regarding replacing my existing sound processor with a much higher quality unit, and which amp, speakers, and sub would be best for my situation and vehicle. I was excited about the equipment that Chase recommended, and he started to price the components. Doing some quick math in my head, it felt like I was going to be over budget. If I were to install everything on one visit, he was able to give me some price breaks on the equipment, so that was appealing. The price fell within my expectations, and we made an appointment for the following week. When I walked out to my car, I realized that I had been in the store for an hour! Man... Chase invested a lot of time in answering my questions! I did some research on Google later that week, and discovered that the pricing that Chase offered me was VERY reasonable. Nearly every component was around $100 less than I could buy them on line for. On appointment day everything went smooth as silk. The work was completed as scheduled, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship and the resulting amazing sound! My car audio system is top notch and sounds absolutely amazing. Thanks for all of your time and hard work, Chase and team! read more

I recently purchased a vehicle that had a Bose factory system in it that sounded horrible to me. I was really excited about the idea of having a stereo system in my car that would focus on great sound quality, latest generation touch screen navigation, phone integration, and would maintain an OEM/factory looking installation while also retaining the factory bluetooth & stereo steering wheel controls. A tall order. Figuring out the components for a stereo is relatively easy if you know what you want. But finding a shop that won't give your car back to you cut up and rattling after the install isn't... and then I met Chase at Quality Car Stereo. I arrived at a small, yet impressive storefront in Gilbert, lined with UTV's and pretty nice [what I assumed to be customer] vehicles in the parking lot, which to me was a good sign. Inside was clean and well stocked with quality gear. The owner/manager Chase greeted me pretty quickly and actually ended up spending a couple of *hours* with me going over the component options for my system and answering all of my geeky and skeptical technical questions about installation procedures. He assured, and then reassured me that I was in good hands. Chase set me up with an awesome Focal speaker and Pioneer navigation system w/ bluetooth and backup camera. He was also able to retain my bluetooth and steering wheel controls! Best of all, we were able to assemble this system within a couple hundred dollars of my budget. It would be an understatement to say that my vehicle sounds good. It sounds GREAT! Even more than that, the vehicle LOOKS great on the inside. There were no indications of the car being taken apart to install the system, other than some fingerprints on the windshield and side glass, which was to be expected. The speakers are well concealed, the door and dash panels are tight, and they were able to make everything look original/factory new, including the custom 10" subwoofer enclosure they made, which is form-fitted perfectly in the back of my car -- not some cheap pre-fabricated box just thrown in and bolted down in the back. Huge bonus! They even matched the carpet finish on the box to my car's interior. The carpet panels are all tight and were re-installed straight and well tucked around the edges. The cables are well routed and properly hidden, which [to me] is important not only for aesthetics, but also servicing the system and vehicle later on, should any issues arise. Many of the shops around town don't always keep this in mind, and tend to install components and cabling through the path of least resistance, which is not always the "right" way, leaving you with not only more potential for problems with your stereo system, but it can also become a huge hassle when you have to service your vehicle or diagnose an issue with your stereo system in the future. It's pretty evident that Chase and his team have a lot of experience and take a lot of pride in their work. Aside from the friendly and professional customer service from Chase, the quality of install and attention to detail his install team has, is the reason why Quality Car Stereo won my business. Chase and his guys went the extra mile to install the system neat and proper, and their quality in workmanship excels in both form and function. I will definitely be back with future projects. If you're in the market for a good deal on aftermarket car audio or navigation and looking for a quality installation, you would be doing yourself and injustice by not checking out Quality Car Stereo. They're well worth a drive to the East valley! read more

In Short: YES this place is the best. I would highly recommend CHASE at Quality Car Stereo to install any audio equipment in your vehicle. Found him on craig's list and could not be more pleased that I called him. My 92 300zx now has an amazing sound system and Alarm. My vehicle required a lot of custom work to install what i needed and nothing was too much for Chase to handle. Chase also did a custom Subwoofer Box that turned out great. My Experience: Top notch Owner/Operator shop. He had a reasonable price for what he installed in my vehicle. His 10yr+ experience shows in his work and professionalism. I'll definately be back for any audio needs.. read more

Chase is a top notch guy. Great customer service and professional. He installed an amplifier in my new truck recently. I'm planning to return soon for new speakers as well. read more

I came here just looking around and with how great everything was wound up leaving with one! I worked with Chase and his product knowledge was amazing. He talked to me for a good hour on all my options, most places would be annoyed by that point. His pricing was amazing, he was only $10 dollars above what the stereo was going for on amazon (100 dollars less than retail price on pioneer.com) and his install price was great. Only took about an hour and a half and it turned up perfect ! Would recommend to anyone in the market for a car stereo. He's not pushy either. Let's you decide what you want. read more

The guys at Quality are as the name describes. They are HIGH quality! Why fool around and guess with shops? Just take your vehicle here and you will not be disappointed. Chase and crew are top notch! Chase is the best! Honest, great quality work, and fast! We will bring all our cars here!

I finally decided to pull the trigger on stereo and lights on my Rzr 1000 XP4 after much shopping around and research. I went with Chase for a couple reasons. When I called to discuss my options Chase was friendly, helpful, professional, and his prices were fair. This thing is worth more than some peoples cars and I wasn't going to let just anyone start tearing into it. Right away I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and that this was the shop for me. Went in the next day to drop it off and Mike went though everything with me including the placement of all the switches and made sure I was happy. Chase called me the next day to discuss final pricing and recommendations to get the most out of system. I decided to add the rear sub in addition to the front based on Chase's recommendation. I couldn't be happier! Took it out this last weekend for the fist time. Sounds amazing, everything works great, and a very nice clean installation! These guys are fair, honest, ethical, do beautiful work, and I would recommend them to everyone I talk to. This will be my only stop for stereo work from here on. Thanks guys!!! read more

Took our Jeep in to upgrade the stock radio to something with bluetooth. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The day following our install, the "cubby" under the stereo face plate started making this obnoxious rattling noise at all speeds. Made a quick call to the shop and was told to bring it by anytime to be fixed, no appt necessary. After adding some foam padding, noise is gone. Will remember these guys for any future car audio needs. Prompt, courteous, and fair pricing. read more

It's been several years since I made my first purchase. I bought a pioneer deck and got the focal component set put in the front of my Corolla. I went went by three to four places trying to find the best deal as well as someone I felt that I could trust. Chase took the time to explain things and answer all of my many questions. None of the others stores including Best Buy, Sound Xpression, and a couple others took the time that Chase did. When I had an issue a couple years after purchase I didn't hesitate to return to Chase. He took care of the problem and so therefore I'm back today to get the 6x9's out in the back. He even squeezed me in to accommodate my crazy schedule. Lifetime customer. read more

After reading the glowing reviews I decided to visit this store for a quote on purchase and installation of a new unit for my car. Received the worst customer service since I have been in Mesa. Counter person advised me almost with a smile on his face that they did not work on my make of car which I understand and that I should try Unique Sound. Being new to the area I asked for an address for my GPS. His reply was " Use Google maps on your Iphone". If that is their idea of customer service they missed the boat with this salesperson. read more

Hidden gem! Chase and his team did a great job on my convertible Mustang and about to work on my quad cab F150. They can go WILD on an install or simply stick to a factory look and hide your equipment. Extremely happy with Quality Car Stereo! They will get all of my rides from now on. read more

Quality Car Stereo really hooked me up. Not only do they do stereos but they do all kinds of stuff like sound proofing, light bars, and seriously, just about everything possible for your Razors. I called and they were honest and stated they don't work on the type of vehicle I have. I highly respect that honesty vs saying they would do something and possibly do it incorrectly. Finally a stereo shop that you can go to without feeling like there's an angle. They are straight forward and won't try to sell or charge you for stuff you don't need. I had them wire up a sub and amp in my car and they used wire-loom on everything so it looked exceptionally clean. Everything they sell carries a manufacturers warranty and there was no trying to sell me one like some of the other shops do. The shop is very clean and organized. They also only carry a handful of brands so you know they stand behind their products. And everyone that works there has all their teeth so that makes things a little easier in the consumer confidence department... read more

So while sorting out a newly purchase used car, it became evident that the deck and speakers were in need of replacement. Quality Car Audio had great reviews and they didn't not disappoint. I'm not one who writes reviews but my buddy and I went into this establishment and without doing any research we thought they were too expensive. We left and went to BB. I spoke to a customer who happened to be pretty angry that he had BB install two new component speakers and a subwoofer and they just could not make it sound right. That this was is 4th time trying to get a basic install done right. I don't know but if it takes more than two times to do a job that you excel in then you're not very good at what you do. He thought we was saving some money there compared to the other guys around town. Well we didn't do any business at BB and went to a few other small car shops in Mesa and Gilbert. Jimmy and Aaron at QCS were by far the best on listening to my needs not their paycheck. My system works flawlessly the first time without the headache of returning. I did spend a little more that I wanted but in the end I'm extremely happy with the results and that's all what matters. Check out AudioControl. Thank you QCS and this is my very first review on Yelp. read more

I recommend Quality Car Stereo with the highest marks possible. I had them "beef up" my stereo in my 2014 Ford Fusion with the MyTouch Sync head unit. My stereo sounds great now with plenty of head room for those moments when the right song is playing. Chase and Mike are professionals with a great work ethic. They focus on quality. Their pricing is right on the mark. I like them so much that I'm having them do my daughter's stereo next month. QCS=A+ read more

I recommend this business because they sale service not just products. They can compete on price for systems because they do custom installation and it is that service they do so well. I wanted to update my 2005 Chevy Equinox. Together we picked out the best system for my needs, and not the most expensive. They were helpful and honest. I was so impressed with the installation because it looks factory. I was given a written estimate for the system and labor. When it was ready that was exactly what I paid. No hidden charges. They are upfront and honest. If your installation should take a whole day they have a car you can use but do make an appointment if you require this added service. They also offer window tinting and I took advantage of this do to my new system was dvd touch screen and less sunlight is helpful for viewing. read more

Chase is a amazing and his work is top quality..He lives up to his name!!! Thanks Chase...

Hands down the most professional install I've ever had. I needed the install of a new power amp in my 2010 Accord. I also was having wiring issues with a prior install. The install was perfect and all prior wiring issues were fixed like new. Believe me it was a mess. If you want the best install experience period, this is the place. Cool no pressure staff. Chase and his crew were very professional about the prospect of installing cab strobe running lights and LED strobe lights in the head and rear light compartments. There were no existing cab lights and Chase had to measure and cut openings for each light without a template. He kept the truck longer than originally promised but was worth the wait when the install was flawless and professional appearing. His crew had to work extra hours to install the lights and yet he gave me a price that was well below industry standards. read more

I'm always worried about taking a vehicle in to a car stereo installer, but I checked ratings on Yelp and found these guys. Very informative and quick. As I continue to try and find a replacement radio for our van, Chase & his crew have supported me in every way. So far they had installed 3 radios that unfortunately have had functional issues. Another radio arrived this weekend and I am hoping that this install be a fully functional radio. Thanks Chase, I will be calling for the another install. read more

I recently went to Quality Car Stereo to see what it would cost to add a little bass to my factory system. Chase took the time to explain what I did and didn't need to get the sound I wanted. Chase is fantastic to work with. He actually talked me out of about $500 in new speakers because he wanted me to hear what he could do with the factory speakers before I purchased new ones. I have a travel trailer and just purchased a 1000W pure sine wave inverter for it. I needed custom length 4 awg cables made for it. I found Quality Car Stereo online, knowing that they would probably have amp kits with 4 awg that could be cut to length. I called in and spoke to Chase on the phone. He told me that they have amp kits, but they also have spools of 4 awg to cut to length. I headed down and they were more than willing to accommodate me. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He looked at my setup, measured the lengths needed, and constructed the cables. Thanks both of you for your help! read more
