I am an experienced fly fishermen but my father in law had never swung a fly in his life. The first place we went was Silver Creek which was lights out. I caught a tagged brown trout on the first cast (bucket lister) and probably staged 6-8 more fish. Silver Creek is a very technical fishery, but my father in law still managed to pull out 3-4 fish that morning. After that Erik took us to another stream, I cant remember the name, where we proceeded to catch at least 20 more fish between us. My father in law went from not expecting to catch anything, to having an absolute lights out day and I attribute it all to the patience and instruction of our guide Erik. I will 100% be booking him again!

It really rocks. The highlight is the quality of the customer service, as their staff is friendly, experienced, and so knowledgeable. They interact so well, and aren't pushy like so many stores. Instead of selling me a new head set, the owner suggested re-tappining it. One mechanic stopped what he was doing and dug out his tap set and cleaned it up perfectly. The threads were great but the bolt holding it in was too short...both mechanics started tearing the shop apart looking for the longer bolts that fit it. They find the package of extra bolts and just give it to me. This would have been great service if I'd bought my bike there, but its incredible service considering I'm just a random guy coming thru town who can't ride his bike until I get it fixed. I would recommend doing your own research prior to coming in and having an idea of what you're looking for - they make recommendations, but having an idea of what's on the market and if you're getting a good price is a good idea. Most of this was done at the Warm Springs location. I had a rather poor experience regarding boots at the Warm Springs location. I rented boots for a couple days as my boots were being shipped in from out of state. After a couple hours on these out of state boots, they didn't feel great and I brought them in to see if anything could be done for them (it had been a few years since I'd last worn them). I was resolutely told that they were the wrong size and that I needed new boots because the one's I had were too big. They offered to sell me rentals, which I thought sounded like a great deal, but after a day with them decided that they didn't fit quite right. Still, they recommended i buy new boots. Following this, I went to the downtown Ketchum location, fully prepared to buy new boots. After working with Matt, he helped diagnose the problem with my existing boots and spent time helping me fix them. Ended up that my old boots were totally fine and there were just some issues with my feet being a bit different sized. Thanks to Matt, I saved $500 that I would've spent on new boots. tl;dr: I'd highly recommend Matt for boot fitting/buying boots but would probably not recommend the warm springs location outside of rentals and tune ups.

You stick your feet into sand that may or may not have been changed In months. 2. The orthotic tech was rude , aggressive and just an awful person to work with. 3. The orthotics were large clunky and in no way did they work in Cycling shoes. 4. I asked if I could return them for a partial refund . The owner never returned my calls. I tried 6 times and left messages with store employees One store employee said that I signed something that would prevent me from any kind of refund.
