Walter worked with us to pick the right product and colors. We went with Shinnoki real wood veneer panels. They are beautiful and durable. Once they got the veneer up, they routed then hand-filed all of the openings. Then that meticulously painted the face frames to match the veneer. They even painted around the drawers where you can see very little of the painting they did. That shows a lot of pride! Walter also gave us the look of frameless cabinets even though we would have had to replace the cabinet boxes in order to make them frameless. That's a lot of extra work. We got a custom job for less than the price of a non-custom job. In the photos you can see the detail I'm talking about. I've included before and after pictures. The before pictures are all dark, ugly drawers and doors. The after pictures are the modern, two-tone look. In one photo in which I have a drawer pulled out with hot pads in it, Walter designed that and made it fit. There was not a drawer in there before because it's under the stove and the gas line was in the way. But Walter moved it. Walter's very conscientious and not afraid to tell you if he thinks something is not going to look good. He'll do whatever you want, but we learned that he knows what he's talking about. He identified the issue quickly and highlighted the lazy workmanship from our kitchen installers (Taranto Construction, Inc in Claremont, CA) who were subcontracted through Lowe's (who we purchased our kitchen from). The shelves collapsed because of loose screws from lazy installers at Taranto Construction, Inc. It's infuriating to have to pay someone to come solve an issue that goes back to completely loose screws in the hardware that would've taken an extra 5 seconds to properly tighten at the initial install. But they know people won't see it, so they cut corners. DO NOT EVER USE TARANTO CONSTRUCTION INC in Claremont CA for a kitchen install, or any Lowe's in the surrounding area, as this is who they refer the work to. After spending a short amount of time with Walter, it's clear he knows what he is doing and is a professional. He even tightened and adjusted other cabinet doors in our kitchen he noticed issues with that had nothing to do with the cabinet shelves he came to fix. He was a very nice guy and I was glad I called him. Thank you very much.

Our kitchen had been the same since the house was built, making it a 22 year old, very outdated setup. We wanted something more modern and elegant to fit the rest of our house and i could never have expected this company to have done such an outstanding job. We were hesitant about the quality of work when we first signed the contract because we had never committed to such a large project before and I think we were asking for a lot of work done. Compared to other companies, the OG Cabinet Experts gave us a quote much more affordable and a deadline that we felt very happy about. Mo gave our kitchen a new island, repainted our cabinets, changed our countertops and backsplash, tore down a wall, and even installed new appliances. He was as committed and focused on making our dream kitchen come true as the rest of my family. It wasn't just Mo that we are grateful to, but his stellar team who came in every day, answered our questions patiently, and met an already short deadline. They were extremely efficient and mindful of the work they did and adjusted to our requests amazingly. I cannot applaud them enough and if we were ever to do our kitchen again, we'd go to the Original Cabinet Experts without missing a beat.

First of all, I will say that the end result was very nice and the price was much lower than the…read moreother estimates we got. That being said, if you use this company, be prepared to be your own quality control manager! We started this project because of a leak and mold damage under our kitchen sink. We had 2 full cabinets replaced and the rest refaced, with new tile backsplash and granite countertops. First, we were told by the General manager, Ernie, that what makes their company different is that they replace the full face frames when refacing the cabinets, instead of just putting the new wood over the top of the old. When Art came out to do the work, he wasn't going to replace the face frames! When the owner, Jose, came out at my insistence, he said -"We don't usually do it that way, but we will do it that way for you." WHAT?!?!? That was Ernie's main selling feature to us! And so it began. The tile guy, Dave, had his assistant install the tile while he worked on the appliances. I think it was so they could get out of there in a day instead of the 2-3 days we were told the work would take. I don't really have a problem with that- except the tile was all uneven! We had to insist it be redone. Dave said the could just take out the uneven tiles- which even I knew wasn't going to work, and most of it was uneven! So we had to buy more tile and they had to tear the entire thing out and start over, including the drywall!! The final result was fine, although Dave told us to seal it ourselves in a few days- really?!? He should have come back and finished the job properly. We also had to call him out to fix a leak under the sink!! That's right- a leak! Which is what started this whole mess!!!When we told Jose about all of the problem, all we got was a 'sorry' as he waited for his final check. We're just glad it's over and hope we never have to see them again. I will say that the granite guy did an amazing job. The couple who did the staining and sealing of the cabinets also did a great job and were very helpful in covering up some bad spots in the wood that Art left. Also, for you ladies out there, make sure you have a man ready to make the phone calls and handle any issues for you! They pretty much ignored anything I said unless my husband called them about it! So- if you use this company because of the low price- be prepared to keep an eye on things and have an exercise in patience!!!!

He had given us a quote once for refinishing cabinets. We ended up leaving the cabinets the way they were, but noticed something was different about Tony. What really caught my attention was the way Tony walks you through his whole process. He'll shed 50+ years of knowledge based on what he would do and how he would tackle the project. He's sort of like a scientist when it comes down to the prepping and painting process. That resonates well with me because I believe every craftsman should be able to chronologically walk you through the process before executing. I had him come back to give an estimate for the interior painting of the house. We had a dated 1940s home that had strange colored walls, a masonry that needed to be skimmed / covered, and lots of patching due to other renovations that came before him.
