We sat down to a "Cajun night" menu to which I inquired if that's like a weekly thing or what and was explained that they will occasionally do various themes and recently had done Italian. They had Cajun music playing and a full Cajun menu, it felt like we were in Louisiana which I am very familiar with, I have roots there. I think having themed nights is a very clever way to bring a variety of fine dining options to a small town that doesn't have a lot of restaurant options. Fully support! Love the concept! Having had frog legs before I didn't feel the need to explore again so didn't choose those. I instead opted for some more cozy comforts such as the Crawfish étouffée and Duck Andouille Gumbo. Both were delicious, my only gripe would be the presentation was quite lacking. Traditionally, for either of those dishes, the rice is served from a cup as a topper, not the gumbo or étouffée spooned atop the rice. But the flavor hit it out of the park. Hubby ordered the Blackened Redfish and this is where the chef's talents shine. This was the winning dish of the evening. Hubby hates okra, I love it, and I'd never had it grilled before though and I'll be using that cooking technique in the future, especially since hubby actually likes okra finally. But I don't want to focus on okra for a fish dish. The blackened redfish was so well seasoned and perfectly flaky, the pinto beans had great flavor as well. We finished our meal out with the beignets and coffees (hubby espresso and me a latte) which paired perfectly with the beignets. We ate them politely with the fork and knife provided though if you ain't covered in powdered sugar or accidentally proofing powdered sugar across the table when you take a bite are you even doing it right? ;) but they were delicious, everything was. Again the only suggestion I have is to consider presentation. The dishes looked a bit bland for the amount of flavor they packed. A slice of that grilled okra on top of my Gumbo or just anything simple would've gone a long way. Overall I'll give 5 stars. I have no complaints. The restaurant's vibe and decor are great, service was great, food was delicious. We had a great night!

The ambiance was very nice, it had a very historic southern feel but there was also some elegance. We ordered: Arancini Appetizer 1/2 Chicken dinner Grouper Paper plane cocktail + 2 beers Our server was amazing and was on top of everything. He recommended the Arancini and it was delicious. I ordered the 1/2 chicken and didn't expect it to be such a big portion. My husband had the grouper and he enjoyed it.

We also ordered Calamari as an appetizer. My husband ordered the lemon chicken with capers, with mashed potatoes, and I ordered the seafood risotto. I loved it, really flavorful and filling. My husband gave rave reviews about his dish as well. We finished with Tiramisu, which was also very good. Overall, not a bad experience. We enjoyed our night together, and got our food pretty quickly. Only issue is the prices, I feel like some things were just a bit overpriced, as we've been to many steakhouses with a similar vibe and quality.

You get complementary bread and butter as an appetizer. The caesar salad, lobster bisque, filet, New York strip, and prime rib are great options. I recommend upgrading your side of mashed potatoes to a premium side because it's very plain (tastes like instant potatoes from a box) and the portion size is small. Mac and cheese and baked potato are solid upgrades. I highly recommend the cowboy butter addition to your steak. It adds great flavor and is an extra $4. Their cocktails are pretty good too. I've had the espresso martini and another fruity one. They aren't very strong but taste good. The presentation of the meal is always beautiful. They plate the food with flowers. It is very visually appealing and makes for great photos.
