I have American home Shield and they sent Summit Plumbing Pros.... I had to replace a standard 50 gallon water heater in my garage..... when the Plummer was leaving he said there would be a 995.00 up charge for a modification..... which is pure Bullshit!!!! I had 3 different plumbers the look at it.... ITS A REGULAR INSTALL... labor 350.. tank 670.00..... having installed as we speak by a Reputable, honest company.... Aside from that they push you to call ECO DRY FOR WATER DAMAGEMORE BULLSHIT!!!! They came and said the studs in the studs under the water heater got wet and MOLD COULD GROWreally in 110 degree weather!!!! More bullshit which the guy did agree wasn't likely..... so I come to find out the pluming co and eco dry have an arrangement.....So all I can say is ...STAY AWAY FROM SUMMIT PLUMING ! read more

Edit: So after I left this review, the company did reach out and tried to remedy some issues. Another plumber came out at night (10pm) to fix my water heater so I can have at least hot water. There were other issues they could not address yet because the parts were with the first plumber. I had a temporary fix where I either had hot water and a tub leak, or when I manually turned off hot water, there's no leak. I was able to live like this for over a week. They called me back a week later to schedule the other remaining issues. They said the second plumber would be back, but surprisingly, the first plumber showed up again after weeks. Maybe he did have family emergency, but he came back weeks later to complete the task. I will say the company is responsible and ended up doing what they said they were going to, but the communication and follow up is horrible. It took me close to 4 weeks to get everything completed. I had different diagnoses, no callbacks then weeks later they call back, and you don't know who's showing up... but ultimately they finished their job. I would say they are actually very knowledgeable, but the scheduling and staffing issue is a nightmare and some may not have the patience to go through that. All in all, they fixed my issues, so I felt it right to update my rating. Original: I've never wanted to rate a zero star in my life but here I am. I have had no hot water for almost 3 weeks and still a leaking shower. They had to order a part, and I waited 4 days with no follow up. I finally called and they had the part but didn't notify me. Made an appointment for yesterday and plumber was a no-show. Rescheduled for today and the plumber was a no-show again. I finally begged Tori and she said she'll get hold of supervisor... then told me supervisor would come out today. Yay I thought. I was grateful to at least get hot water and deal with the leak later. It is now 5:30pm and the supervisor is a no-show as well. I called again and of course it's closed and gone to voicemail. 3 weeks, 3 no shows, 2 separate plumbers... still not addressed. They just want the $100 fee from American Home Shield. I called for days and told them I have family coming over for a holiday tomorrow and they flat out will make promises then don't show up. This is not inept. This is malicious. I now see a lot of this on the reviews. They should be reported to BBB. read more

Tye from Summit Plumbing was referred to us by Mike Steele Plumbing. Summit Plumbing sent over Larry today. I liked the way Larry worked. He communicated well and got the job done quickly. The best part of working w/ Larry is how he explained why our water heater leak occurred. He told us what is required by code and how the previous company installed our water heater incorrectly. (Now we have the knowledge to avoid the problem in the future.) Larry called us 30 minutes before he arrived, left a voicemail, and arrived on time. He was a nice guy and was open to questions and conversation, and otherwise just stayed on task and finished the job faster than expected and didn't leave a mess behind. I paid via credit card using his phone. That would have been more convenient if he could have also provided an invoice (not expecting a complete invoice w/ work order, but at least a receipt would be nice at the time of transaction), but he let me know the office would be sending an email with all of that, so we're good to go! Larry also took a look at one of our toilets before he left. (We have to hold the handle down for a couple seconds for it to flush all the way.) Anyway, it was an easy fix, so he made a small adjustment and gave me some advice. It saved us time and money! Rad guy. He's probably cool all the time, but I wonder if the Bundaberg Australian Ginger Ale I shared softened him up a little bit. It works on everybody! ;) read more

Never use this company they're a joke. Nick came to my house on 12/6 for a leaky water heater then explained to me that Tuesday the 12th, would be the only day they could install. Made the appointment have been waiting all morning and now they're rescheduling because they couldn't get a hold of me when they never called me. Nick and Tori are apparently the head people that can't keep there stories aligned. One of them will tell you that you can put a card on file to be charged the next day after the service is done, then the I call day of service and they say sorry we can do anything without full payment. From working with them on the phone through Albert performing our repair they were VERY professional, knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. Albert, the repair technician is very good at his job. These plumbers were sent by my home warranty. They misdiagnosed my problem causing me not to be reimbursed by my warranty, they turned my solar panels on without asking/telling me, they never answer the phone or return calls, they left my working water heater on the floor of my garage and said "it's broken" before leaving. It took me 5 phone calls/messages before I was able to speak with a plumber and he wouldn't correct their mistake. What a terrible company. read more

This company started my nightmare when they recommended Echo Dry to dry under my sink and then Echo Dry recommended RMJ which is the same company. Echo Dry broke my cabinets and countertops and then RMJ comes in and collects the home owners Insurance. They received over 10,000 to paint my cabinets. We were assigned this plumbing company by our home warranty service. Christian came out and replaced our garbage disposal in a timely matter, left everything clean and was very pleasant. I'm not sure about cost since it was covered by our home warranty, but we were able to schedule an appt a couple days out and they did a good job. This company was dispatched by warranty company on Monday, called and scheduled appointment for Tuesday. Tuesday morning receive call that they need to reschedule for Wednesday due to death in family of tech- ok no problem things happen. Wednesday appointment set for between 12-5, tech comes at 3:30, says problem fixed he is going to check with office to have part replaced warrantied out(still can't see what part he actually replaced). Great right? nope! flushed toilet twice and same problem. Called office to have tech come back out, phone was finally answered and I was put on hold while she contacted the tech and after 10 minutes was hung up on. Tried several times to call back and no answer - yes during business hours, and left 2 messages. It is now Thursday and I once again called at 9 this morning and was scheduled again between 12-5. Had to leave work and wait- mind you my husband had taken half day Tuesday and Wednesday also- so we are at 3 days that we have lost half a day of income. Finally called office at 4:15 to check status and after several rings call was answered, I'm assuming she works from home- which is fine, but I could barely hear her- explained that I was checking status and she said you're on the schedule so he'll get there when he gets there. The rudeness instantly pissed me off and I explained to her that we are now on Thursday for a toilet that was scheduled to fix Tuesday and I have been more than understanding and do not need the rudeness. She said do you want me to cancel appointment and I said YES!! cancel the F'in appointment because it's obvious that trying to work with this company is pointless...so now it's Thursday evening and I get to go through the whole process again with my home warranty company that I'm currently on hold with. I don't like to give reviews that are bad because we are all human and make mistakes, I try to show compassion and understanding but the level of hassle and unprofessionalism with the office person is ridiculous. The plumber/tech was nice even though he didn't actually fix anything- just look elsewhere if you want your toilet fixed and scheduling to be done without rude snarkiness. read more
