I called for service as my kitchen sink would drain intermittently. Summit sent out Mr. Mendoza who was on time, we'll dressed and very professional. He was extremely friendly and explained the process and showed me what was done. Summit should be very proud to have Mr. Mendoza on their team. Thank you again for your wonderful service. read more

I had a really really backed up sink, and when Summit arrived, they were very professional and courteous. Nick came in and listened to the situation, then ran a snake three times, and then sent a camera. It didn't look good, so he suggested another team member come by with another snake and a better camera. Then Raymond came with a special snake, and I'll tell you, he ran that snake 3 times and he got it cleared. I know this sounds like over the top, but the sink drain works better than when we bought the house 6 years ago - no more gurgling, just a super fast whirlpool drain effect. The issue as I learned was putting too much liquid plumber actually made the drain issue worse. Throughout the whole process, I really appreciated the team's "i think we can solve this" attitude, which is what makes the difference between a service call and a belief in an organization as a whole. I like how the team also brought a trainee along for learning on the job - that's true commitment to future leaders of the team. Big credit to the team and the leadership of the company that puts such an effort into solving and training, which is key to the future. Big credit the company management and the team overall - keep it up. read more

Summit Plumbing Pros was assigned to our property by our warranty company to repair a leaky faucet of our tub. The technician came to the property, assessed the situation, and indicated he needed to order parts. He returned a few days later to install the parts but was unsuccessful in doing so. Because he had made the situation worse, he had to cut into the wall to shut off the water. He said he would order the needed parts from Moen. He returned a third time and was again unsuccessful completing the repair. The warranty company sent me a note yesterday indicating the company was billing $3500+ to replace the faucet of which $250 was covered. I did not approve the proposed repair. I'm concerned that the plumber lacked the skills to appropriately fix the leaky faucet and damaged my equipment while attempting to do what should have been a common repair. The $3500+ charge to fix a problem made worse by the plumber caused me to loose confidence in Summit Plumbing Pros. I am in the process of preparing a complaint for the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to express my concerns about the competency of their plumbers and seek an appropriate remedy for the harm done. Today, I had a different plumber come out to inspect the faucet and assess the damage done by the first plumber. He confirmed that both lines (hot and cold) had been cut and capped. He also recommended that I work with Moen directly to get the parts I need and that he would assist me in installing the parts. It is very rare that I leave 1 star reviews but this rating was appropriate because 1. The company was unable to complete the repair after three visits to the property. 2. The plumber left the plumbing in worse condition than when he found it. read more

Can't say enough good things about Summit! Their people are professional and very knowledgeable, the plumber fixing my shower explained everything as he was fixing, didn't try and upsell me at all. Greatly appreciated, I'll be sure to call next time I have an issue and I'm spreading the word to all my friends that need plumber services! Great job by Summit, and the pricing is competitive as well! read more

Summit Plumbing Pros - It's a 50 gallon simple replacement they wanted to up charge me 995.99 extra on top of Home shield!! Crooks!!!!!! - Plumbing Near Me

I would not use Summit Plumbing Pros. It all started when I had a plumbing leak from the upstairs shower. I called 1st American Home Warranty and started a 100.00 claim. Summit Plumbing Pros had a tech that came out and said he advised we call Eco Dry to come out and scan for the leak, so that dry wall could be cut to identify leak. Free service and estimate is what I was told. Eco Dry showed up in less than 30 minutes , scanned & taped off the area that would need to be cut out. Instead of the plumber cutting out and fixing same day, or within same week I got taken down a path to use Eco Dry for their services. I caught the leak right away, so there was no damage, but long story short Eco Dry only bills homeowner insurance, so after another 1,000.00 for that deductible and two months later plumber shows up for a third time with part saying it can't be fixed telling 1st American it was part of the shower pan and my claim got denied. Originally 1st American was going to manage everything accept the paint after restoration. I was only out 100.00. Next thing I know I'm getting a 5,600 bill from Eco Dry saying I had to pay it if my home owners insurance doesn't cover it. I was looking at being out a possible 6,700.00. My home owners insurance ended up negotiating with Eco Dry and all I ended up being on the hook for was the 1,000 deductible along with the 100.00 deductible from 1st American. I requested a second opinion from another plumber and he said due to the fact that Summit wrote it up as part of the shower pan there was nothing he could say more and 1st American again denied my claim. I ended up going to a plumbing supply house myself and the 1st one I stopped at had at least a dozen of the gasket's on the shelf. I purchased one for 20.00 and fixed myself in less than 10 minutes. I have not had a leak and was able to do it myself. Second opinion plumber agreed gasket was part of the piping connection and not the shower pan. My shower pan is just a fiberglass pan with a hole in it. You can google easy enough to identify the gasket is not part of the shower pan. I wouldn't be surprised if this plumber deferred to Summit leadership on how he should proceed with this claim. If he didn't I still blame Summit Plumbing as a whole for not managing their service call correctly. I'm a 20 year Elec. contractor, so understand process and wouldn't have even taken this to Insurance, but I thought if I can get it all done for 100.00 might as well. I was without a shower for over two months in my master bath and out 1,100.00 and was able to fix the leak for 20.00 myself. I would not use this Plumbing contractor, nor would I recommend to anyone! read more

Tye from Summit Plumbing was referred to us by Mike Steele Plumbing. Summit Plumbing sent over Larry today. I liked the way Larry worked. He communicated well and got the job done quickly. The best part of working w/ Larry is how he explained why our water heater leak occurred. He told us what is required by code and how the previous company installed our water heater incorrectly. (Now we have the knowledge to avoid the problem in the future.) Larry called us 30 minutes before he arrived, left a voicemail, and arrived on time. He was a nice guy and was open to questions and conversation, and otherwise just stayed on task and finished the job faster than expected and didn't leave a mess behind. I paid via credit card using his phone. That would have been more convenient if he could have also provided an invoice (not expecting a complete invoice w/ work order, but at least a receipt would be nice at the time of transaction), but he let me know the office would be sending an email with all of that, so we're good to go! Larry also took a look at one of our toilets before he left. (We have to hold the handle down for a couple seconds for it to flush all the way.) Anyway, it was an easy fix, so he made a small adjustment and gave me some advice. It saved us time and money! Rad guy. He's probably cool all the time, but I wonder if the Bundaberg Australian Ginger Ale I shared softened him up a little bit. It works on everybody! ;) read more

Edit: So after I left this review, the company did reach out and tried to remedy some issues. Another plumber came out at night (10pm) to fix my water heater so I can have at least hot water. There were other issues they could not address yet because the parts were with the first plumber. I had a temporary fix where I either had hot water and a tub leak, or when I manually turned off hot water, there's no leak. I was able to live like this for over a week. They called me back a week later to schedule the other remaining issues. They said the second plumber would be back, but surprisingly, the first plumber showed up again after weeks. Maybe he did have family emergency, but he came back weeks later to complete the task. I will say the company is responsible and ended up doing what they said they were going to, but the communication and follow up is horrible. It took me close to 4 weeks to get everything completed. I had different diagnoses, no callbacks then weeks later they call back, and you don't know who's showing up... but ultimately they finished their job. I would say they are actually very knowledgeable, but the scheduling and staffing issue is a nightmare and some may not have the patience to go through that. All in all, they fixed my issues, so I felt it right to update my rating. Original: I've never wanted to rate a zero star in my life but here I am. I have had no hot water for almost 3 weeks and still a leaking shower. They had to order a part, and I waited 4 days with no follow up. I finally called and they had the part but didn't notify me. Made an appointment for yesterday and plumber was a no-show. Rescheduled for today and the plumber was a no-show again. I finally begged Tori and she said she'll get hold of supervisor... then told me supervisor would come out today. Yay I thought. I was grateful to at least get hot water and deal with the leak later. It is now 5:30pm and the supervisor is a no-show as well. I called again and of course it's closed and gone to voicemail. 3 weeks, 3 no shows, 2 separate plumbers... still not addressed. They just want the $100 fee from American Home Shield. I called for days and told them I have family coming over for a holiday tomorrow and they flat out will make promises then don't show up. This is not inept. This is malicious. I now see a lot of this on the reviews. They should be reported to BBB. read more

Never use this company they're a joke. Nick came to my house on 12/6 for a leaky water heater then explained to me that Tuesday the 12th, would be the only day they could install. Made the appointment have been waiting all morning and now they're rescheduling because they couldn't get a hold of me when they never called me. Nick and Tori are apparently the head people that can't keep there stories aligned. One of them will tell you that you can put a card on file to be charged the next day after the service is done, then the I call day of service and they say sorry we can do anything without full payment. These plumbers were sent by my home warranty. They misdiagnosed my problem causing me not to be reimbursed by my warranty, they turned my solar panels on without asking/telling me, they never answer the phone or return calls, they left my working water heater on the floor of my garage and said "it's broken" before leaving. It took me 5 phone calls/messages before I was able to speak with a plumber and he wouldn't correct their mistake. What a terrible company. read more

This company started my nightmare when they recommended Echo Dry to dry under my sink and then Echo Dry recommended RMJ which is the same company. Echo Dry broke my cabinets and countertops and then RMJ comes in and collects the home owners Insurance. They received over 10,000 to paint my cabinets. So I know this is not those companies but they brought them into my house. Why they would recommend these thieves. I will find out because the ROC is investigating read more
