I don't usually leave reviews but I'm throughly impressed with my service. I will be using them for…read moreall my future plumbing and heating needs. First they were able to get me on the schedule same day for a leak repair. I was a little surprised that I had to pay a fee upfront for the call out but I figured lots of service business ask for deposits so I decided it was fine. Second the front desk called me to let me know my technician was going to be a little past our scheduled time. Then a few minutes later my technician called to let me know his eta. They also sent me a text message with his picture and name saying he was on his way. Third my tech Peter let me know what he was doing and why. He was very thorough in finding the source of the leak. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be requesting him for all of my future repairs. Fourth I felt the service charges were reasonable especially for the amount of time spent. Apparently they use a flat-rate pricing module instead of charging by the hour. I appreciate that as looking for a leak can be a lengthy process

They have 30 day warranty we had them come out in June end of July noticed same leak our clogged drain still same problem looks like they just sprayed sealant on leak & the drained pipes had roots etc but yeah had someone else come look still not drained sink backing up etc. now beginning of Aug call it'll be 320$ just to come look & they keep mentioning warranty which I get it but it's literally exact same problem like clearly shit job. It's barely over 30 days & we spend 900$ the first time so taking my business elsewhere. Also the lady kept making me feel stupid like well it was June like That's so long ago couldn't possibly be there fuck up.

Finding a good plumber is as important as finding a good primary care provider or car mechanic…read more We have owned our house for over twenty years and over the last several years we needed to replace our water heaters and most recently our boiler. This team is reliable, available, does high quality work, and the price is in line with any other plumber. Their team is a good mix of seasoned experts and newer staff showing their commitment to continuous development of their work force. We also upgraded our countertops and needed help hooking up the new sink and stovetop. The finished product looks and works great.

After 3 trips back and forth to get the right part, they installed it and we had hot water again. A few days later we noticed that water was pouring through the cwndo) condenser now, something that never happened in the past. I called these guys back and they sent a tech out. The tech came in and looked at the unit, and told me that I needed a new hot water heater and they would put a bid in for me and then left. Did a quick Google on the issue and the first thing that came up was an improperly installed. Called Flow Star plumbing (who I had never used before) and they came out and checked the flow sensor. Turns out the wrong o-ring was installed. The new tech installed the correct o-ring and turned the unit back on and the issue was fixed. Took maybe 15 minutes. Now I completely understand why these guys have such terrible reviews and will never use their services again.

If you have time and its the summer, I'm not so struggling anymore. I work a little extra at my job to pay for good work from a professional. Central Plumbing and Heating are on my short list, along with: Big O's Spenard Builders Supply and Young's Gear. Mike stopped by and brought some rickety plumbing issues created by me 12 years ago, up to standard. When you are out of town at work and your family is at home at minus 30.... you tend to worry about the quality of your own work. Very fast, Friendly, Clean work, minimal mess. and humor from an old guy. ( I'm old, I can say that) Thank you Mike for a great service call. loren

Purchased a new Hearthstone Champlain fireplace last year while building a new cabin. After install, have always had problems getting the unit to stay lit and being controlled by the remote thermostat. Had worked with main tech at Central many times and heard that the Maxatrol controller was known to have issues. I have called Maxatrol only to hear that nothing is their fault, they only build interfaces and remotes to Hearthstones specs. Have called 2 different phone numbers for Hearthstone, and neither is an active number. One gives a recording that customers need to contact the dealer that sold the fireplace, and no way to leave a message. I emailed Hearthstone at the only address I can find online and have never heard anything back. I continue after many months of calling in when I have time, of still not having a fireplace working correctly that we rely on as our only heat and paid Thousands for. The issues are this: 1. Hearthstone does not allow customers to talk directly to their tech support 2. Hearthstone does not provide actual manufacturer training for the dealers employees. 3. Central Plumbing will not cover anything on a warranty and wants me to load up the 300 pound fireplace and drive it to their store, over 100 miles round trip. 4. Central Plumbing knew of issues with the Maxatrol controller, but still continued to sell those models of the Hearthstone fireplace, without any warning to the consumer. 5. Have called multiple times asking for the Owner to contact me, not for technical support, but to make sure that the person in charge of ordering products and communicating with manufacturers knew of the problems a customer was having and not being happy with their company... So far I was wrong. Needless to say I do not believe I am buying, or recommending, a Hearthstone fireplace in the future, or buying, or recommending, Central Plumbing, unless they actually start helping to support a product they sold.

He checked out furnace and said old unit. Went to shop to see if he could get part. Gone more than 30 minutes. Got back and said this part better work. At 4:30 showed my husband broken part. Said couldn't weld or do anything to unit. I started calling multiple vendors in town to get new furnace installation bids. My husband took broken part to friend for help. When returned I'm on a second level up in our home and hear a screaming match in my garage. I walked down and tech was yelling at my husband- appeared to be getting very aggressive. I said why are you yelling at my husband? He said I have to get paid. I said you have a credit card on file-bill us. We asked him to leave. My husband took broken part to welder and Anchorage plumbing and heating fixed my furnace in a hour while Diamond had us spend miserably cold night in house with no heat. Temperature inside next am was 42 degrees. Stay away from this company. Our experience was brutal and they want to charge us $100 more for doing nothing except leaving us without heat. If I could rank them zero,I would. Terrible experience!

We were required to pay half of the balance up front and the remainder at completion, when the garage heater was connected and operating. Mountain Mechanical completed the initial install on September 10th and assured us that once the municipal inspector signed off on the job, they would complete the connection to the garage heater. We were required to pay the balance due, since Mountain Mechanical assured us they would complete the job after the inspection. The municipal inspector failed the job and Mountain Mechanical did NOT address the failure for 6 weeks, because "they got busy". We were out of town during this time period, however, there was a house sitter to provide access to the garage whenever requested. Mountain Mechanical took advantage of the fact that we were out of town and pushed our job down on their priority list, because they were paid in full. When we returned we contacted Mountain Mechanical to address the leak found by the municipal inspector in September. The second inspection also failed. It is now November 5th and we still do not have a heated garage. Plants and belongings in the garage are now subjected to temperatures below freezing. We do NOT recommend Mountain Mechanical for any work other than an routine inspection.
