I've had some not so fun encounters with post offices in the past, whether it''s ridiculously long lines or unfriendly staff...so this post office has been a breath of fresh air for me They are also open longer then some of the other post offices in the area. The one in Bridgeview on Harlem & 100th is 9-5. This post office not only opens earlier at 8am, but they are open until 7pm which really helps when you have a busy schedule or want to take care of something before or after work. They are also open until 1pm on Saturdays. I usually tend to just drive up here and drop letters off in one of their mailboxes, I love that they empty out the mailboxes frequently and that have them placed conveniently so you are in and out in a jiffy. Whenever I send something out from here, whether it's last minute invites or a bill that is close to being due....I can rest assured that it will get delivered asap. Usually the next day which is awesome. I am guessing it goes out faster from this post office because they empty out the mailboxes frequently vs once or twice a day like some other post offices do.
