I went to my home front porch, there was no package delivered. On 05/03/2026, I went to the Matteson post office to inquire about my missing package. i was greeted by a angry looking employee working the front desk, no smile, no good mornin, nothing but a angry face. Then another employee checked something in the back, and told me that my package was misdelivered. She stated to my information and stated that someone would get my package, and deliver it that even.well it now 05/07/2026, haven't received my package yet, and haven't heard anything from the post office concerning the whereabouts of my package. Ain't nothing but a bunch of liars at that post office. Something ain't right about that post office. I will be filing a formal complaint against Matteson post office. I've continued having issues with this location. I placed a mail hold with a particular start…read moredate. Up to 3 days after the mail hold start date, mail was still being delivered to my home's mailbox. I called 8+ times to this post office and have sent I don't know how many emails at this point. I talked to one person out of all the calls made who said she'd handle this. No one picked up the phone during the other calls. Upon reaching someone also via email, I was informed no mail hold was in place. That a mail hold would start for me any way and at the end of it I'd have to come and get my mail after showing an ID. I went online to the USPS website, made a copy of the mail hold I'd placed, which clearly had the start and stop dates I'd requested, and emailed the information to this post office. I also pointed out in my email that the mail hold indicated I wanted all mail brought to my home by a carrier once the mail hold end date was reached. This was a very easy request, made online, that turned into a complete mess. It's hard to deal with a post office when this type of request is messed over... and this is the second time this has happened from this same location. I'm awaiting an explanation on the cause and an apology for this madness.

This was while she was giving me a look like I was bothering her and backing away into the back area of the post office. I think this woman has no idea what service is. When I call to inquire how does my card that was not delivered have a balance on it and tell them it had to be the mail carrier or the mail sorter who took it I am told that they cannot make accusations about it. But who else would have my card. Now I have been waiting 11 days for my medication. It was set for deliver on the 16, I checked my ring door bell no one came to my door. No missed delivery marker was placed. Only way I knew my mail wasn't delivered because I called the VA to see where my medication was and they provide me the information. Then they stated my package would be delievered the next business day. That was a fat lie because they didn't even attempt to deliver it until the 22nd. I didn't know that it was that many nonbusiness days 18-21 now come on. Make it make sense. I can trust this post officer and the mail carrier as far as I can throw it. Oh the laughable part is that they are stating my house is not accessible. I have no gate. If the jehovah witnesses, girl scout cookie girls, solar panel sales man, alley cats, wolves and other creatures can get into my yard then why not the post carrier. I know why because she was too fucking lazy to lift her legs out of the van to walk them up the walkway and then ring my doorbell. She must be blind too to not see I have cameras on my house and can see that the deliver that she attempted was her just driving past my damn mailbox.
