My experience with Glenn (owner) was up and down from the get go. He is extremely friendly in a…read moregenuin way. Unfortunately that doesn't help my yard or my pocket. I recently moved into a new home that came with an array of beautiful plants and flowers etc. Front and back were well maintained and beautiful. The landscaper the owner had doing it before had moved on to a corporate landscaping situation so I had to find someone new. I was really nervous to use my old guy as I had only seen him do a standard yard. I was fearful that the plants would be cut wrong or ruined etc. So I searched and found Glenn. He has a degree in botany and absolutely knows his plants, trees and flowers. He came over with his very nice wife to do a walk through so he could get me a quote. I explained what I wanted exactly and his wife assured me that he would do it as I liked. During the walk through I had my husband and the owner's brother with me for the part where I explained I really need the wall ivy cut as it's getting heavy and I am afraid it will all fall. It had already started to fall in a small area. The owners brother even explained how far back it should be cut etc. I told him this was my top priority. A few days later I finally get a quote of $55/ hour and it would take 3-4 hours. I was pretty floored because the front and back yards are pretty small. They were a little grown out but nothing crazy, not many weeds...nothing obscene by any means. We have a lot of beautiful plants etc. but I could not fathom it taken that long. However, I felt based on what they said that it would get done exactly as I asked and the plants would be taken care of so it would be worth it. So I agreed. The day he came they got to work at around 12:00 pm. by 2:15 I got up and looked in the back yard and noticed that nothing looked different. I went to the front and the 1 guy he brought with him was still blowing out the front. Everything in the front was cut except the Aloe Vera plants that were huge and we had discussed him cutting them back during the walk through. No go. Didn't do it at all. So then I started to worry. If we are 2 hours 15 minutes into the work and only the front yard is done (which had very little to do in the grand sceme of things...how long would the back take? Well..they didn't cut back the wall ivy or do any edging or cutting back of the ground plants in the back. They did around the pool though. The one plant I said I didn't want cut, they chopped into an odd square shape...it's not meant to be that way. I was pretty upset about that. Let me put it this way. My daughter got home and went and looked in the backyard then turned to me and said... I thought the yard guy came...the front looks done...did they not do the back? I just laughed. They told me they would clean out the pool but my pool is full of leaves etc...worse than I have ever seen. So now I am going to be spending hours trying to get all of it out. I don't even know where it all came from. It's sitting at the bottom of my pool. When I addressed the ivy his answer was tugging on it to show me it wouldn't fall. Even though it had fallen in the other area. I wanted it cut but I guess it's his yard not mine. I address the aloe vera and he said other clients got really mad at him for cutting them back and cutting the flowers. I am not other clients and explained what I wanted in the walk through. So with all of this said, he is not worth it. My regular guy would have done and extremely better job for half the price...maybe not half but $70 less for sure. I am so disappointed that my backyard (my main priority) was hardly done. I think the problem was...he brought one guy and he himself moves at snail pace. I think he realized he was running out of time so my back yard paid the price. I would never recommend this person to anyone. Not for who he is, but for the work he did. Now I have to pay more money to get the job..actually done. He might have a degree in botany but that doesn't mean he will do a good job on your yard.

Their 5-man crew was super efficient and the clean-up was thorough. This was a small thing but actually a BIG DEAL to a home owner --- 2 crew members held up a large tarp while a 3rd man was grinding down the stump of the removed PV tree! That little action kept sawdust and wood chips from flying all over my patio! You'll see that in the photos attached. I will use Viveros again for any add'l tree work I need.

I hired All Terrain Landscaping to install brand new irrigation in my front and back yards and dump…read moresome rocks in a bare spot in 2016. By 2017, there were leaks. Subsequent years saw a few leaks every couple of months. I suppose I should have asked what type of poly tube they were using but figured for the price (over $3k), they'd be using something of quality. I was way wrong. I have had to engage Sprinkler Doctors for each leak (and it's not just one at a time, it's several at a time) after giving up doing it on my own. It just became a burden. Every instance of Sprinkler Doctors coming out to fix the leaks, the tech invariably asks, "who installed this?" and "this tubing is cheap." Most recently, I had a tech come out to address more leaks and he flat out told me that the tubing they used was garbage and the installers should have or would have known that. My entire system needs to be replaced because now, with each leak fixed, another leak pops up a little further down the line. So if you want to have fun repairing leaks a year after install, go with this company! If that doesn't sound like a grand time to you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. TL/DR: irrigation tubing should last about 10-15 years after installation if it's buried. Mine hasn't even lasted eight. Leaks began occurring the year after installation.
