We came here for a lunch break and were met with a slight wait. The hostess was kind and quick to get us on the list. The frozen drink selection was incredible - I enjoyed a pina colada! They also had great non alcoholic options for our pregnant friend too Most of us ordered fro their variety of chicken roll ups - the chicken was chipotle flavored which I really enjoyed but if you don't like spice be warned! We all had different types of wraps - the chicken salad roll up was pretty good, but the jerk chicken roll up didn't hit the mark. He couldn't answer our questions and seemed annoyed when we asked for stuff. Then they added 20% gratuity to our tip and I definitely wouldn't have tipped that. It was 13 JUN 2023 and it was a very hot day exploring the surrounding areas of 30A near Rosemary Beach, FL. It was a little after 2PM and we were getting hungry. So glad that a quick Yelp search turned us off of "highway" 30A into Rosemary Beach. As soon as we turned in, it was like we were transformed into a European beach community with cobblestone (simulated) streets. The Summer Kitchen Café was the the first restaurant we came upon that didn't have a long line of people waiting to be seated, and we were lucky to be able to find a parking place close by, as this is on-street parking only. As hot is it was, I don't think we would have eaten outside if the food was free, and we were lucky to be immediately seated in the air conditioned space, as they are only a few tables and some stools at the counter/bar. Since it was so hot, we opted for some wraps. My wife got the chicken salad roll up with a delicious side salad. Kudos for the Summer Kitchen Café for not overloading the wrap with too much mayo. I got the spicy chicken roll up (chicken, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, cheddar cheese, mayo, Sriracha, & honey balsamic in a flour tortilla); and it was very good. Great local place in 30A to grab a brunch bite to eat. Staff was very nice and worked quickly to get a table ready for us. Service was timely and no complaints. We ordered the french toast, avocado roll up, and the whole hog roll up. Overall, the food was good for normal breakfast food. The roll ups were a good size, but were very greasy. The house potatoes serviced alongside were very dry and had to be drenched in hot sauce. For a quick brunch, it got the job done. We are big bloody mary critics. Our group of 4 ladies had a nice lunch here. We were sat inside tucked into a corner. The bar seats looked comfortable and they have outside seating too. So good! Haven't been here in years! We stay further west and came to Rosemary for some shopping and grabbed a breakfast and wound up having a wonderful meal! The roll-ups were amazing! I did the spicy chicken and my husband did the sausage egg and cheddar and both were delicious. The tortillas were so crispy and filled creamy! We ate outside and when the sun came out, it was pretty brutal on the table. My daughter tried the cinnamon roll, and took 2 bites. It's 5.00 and it's huge but she didn't care for it at all. I had the spicy chicken roll up and home fries. The taters were overcooked for my taste but totally edible w ketchup. The roll up was pretty good, I'd order it again. So we put our name on the wait list and while we waited we walked around the nearby shops and grassy area, as other families were doing. When they called us we were in luck - an outside table that happened to be right next to the hostess/host stand... and they were dog lovers. So our dog was happy to be greeted so warmly; and they refilled the water bowl right away. We ordered chips and salsa and chips and guacamole right as we sat down, and thankfully they arrived quickly... that helped take away the hunger. For lunch we enjoyed some fine hamburgers, a chicken sandwich, and my wonderful wife enjoyed a Caesar salad. All plates were clean when we were done. This was a nice lunch and we'll happily return. This cafe has a prime spot on the end of the Main Street in Rosemary Beach. We loved the simple ambiance of breakfast outside on the sidewalk on plastic tables and chairs. But as soon as you sit down, be sure to ask for a spoon! Otherwise, you will have coffee served to you that you will be stirring with a fork only. (Oddly, they do not include spoons in their silverware packets even during a breakfast seating when almost everyone is stirring cream into their coffee cups!) plus, beware of the holes in the plastic table tops.... your fork that has stirred your coffee will now be dripping coffee drops through the table onto your pant legs. So immediately ask for extra napkins to cover the holes in your table. Luckily, the service is very friendly, and the food is delicious. The scrambled eggs were a tiny bit on the salty side, but still yummy. And the wrap with egg, cheese, and sausage with delicious as well. read more

I loved this place! It's an adorable little restaurant in beautiful Rosemary Beach and they all wore masks which was awesome. They also had lots of patio seating so we sat at a table away from people. We all ordered the breakfast burrito which was huge and excellent. I had the other half later that day as a snack. Great mimosas and bloody Mary's. our friend really enjoyed her coffee that she got as well. I will definitely go back here next time. It is charming as is the little town square it's on.
