What a great little place. Food is so delicious, staff is very friendly, and it's just very calm with nice views. I wished I lived closer cause I would stop by here on a regular base.

    The Bay Cristo

The food is expensive and only OK, the Bay Cristo should be billed as a french toast sandwich for accuracy. The Meat Lovers empanada was by far the best thing we ate and it wasn't great. My wife thought it was exceptional. All the condiments are made in advance because my sour cream had the water on top. The cookies are exceptional especially the raspberry tart. The view would be beautiful except it overlooks a broken down dock and barge. There are plenty of ducks roaming the grounds so if you love animals like that or have small children they will be entertained. Avoid the coffee and lattes, the syrups are mostly sugar free (which we were unaware of when we ordered), look like they have been sitting awhile, and come from a discount store like Homegoods. It was extremely busy but it is also spring break in Panama City Beach. Not sure if this was just an off day or the typical service. I will definitely try again in the future and make a final decision then.

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! Charming little breakfast dive, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The service was fantastic, very attentive without hovering. The food?! Ohhhhhhh it was so good. French toast was off the charts, my steak & cheese omelette was perfect, the home fries were delicious. Definitely a new go-to in PCB

    Delicious freshly made cookies

Amazing menu freshly made to order. Staff was very professional with a personal touch. Food was delicious as per usual with a wide range to choose from. Always very courteous with any substitutions that I asked for. They go above and beyond to make sure every customer is satisfied with their meal. Another thing that I can appreciate is they regularly? Add new one-of-a-kind dishes to always ensure each week something fresh and delicious.Never a dull boring menu. Each week I am excited to try one of her new dishes. Carolina takes special time and attention with all her dishes, adding flavorful ingredients that make each of her dishes one of a kind.. now let's get to the bakery side of this one of a kind cafés. Carolina makes delicious cakes,, cookies, pies, and fresh baked goods. This is a place that I like to come to at least once a week. Would absolutely recommend anyone who has not tried Bayside café to give them a visit. A+++++

Bananas Foster Pancakes - with caramel drizzle & real whipped cream

This was near impossible for Waze & Apple Maps to find for some reason & we almost gave up. So glad we didn't. (Try navigating to Boondocks Restaurant just across road from it.) Anyway, looks like a small shack with outdoor seating but there's a cozy inside dining area with 10-12 tables. We ended up here twice during vacay week. Day 1, I got Bananas Foster pancakes (huge w/ multiple dollops of fresh whipped cream). Wife got Monte Cristo sandwich. Both delicious & what appeared to be the only server was capably whirlwind-ing around the place keeping everyone tended. Only knock is they were out of hot black tea but wife said coffee was delicious. Day 2, I got the 2+2+2, under the allegedly "smaller plate" menu: 2 eggs, 2 bacon & 2 French toast. Still took some home. Wife got the special, cranberry orange French toast - again good. With an Argentinian owner, it doubles as a bakery as well - we were just too full to order extras.

Should have taken a picture but come! The food was outstanding! We had an omelette, crepes and a Monte Cristo sandwich. We sat outside (there are big fans) and it was a charming ! Beautiful view of the bay! The service was friendly!

I've been twice after moving recently to Maragaritaville. Tried the grilled chicken salad and the hamburger. Both were delicious. Waitresses Mary Ann and Carolina were so attentive and courteous. I will be back.

This little cafe is NOT TO BE MISSED when traveling to PCB. We enjoyed one of the best breakfasts in the cutest cafe that we have ever been to at Bayside. The staff reminds me all of aunties in the kitchen cooking and serving home made meals. Everything is made to order and fresh! Save room for the cutest homemade desserts and cookies or take it to go!

Nestled back by the bay, this place has a homey feel and has the most amazing breakfast we've had in a long time. You can tell there is heart in the cooking and the service makes you feel like family! We would visit this place again, the next time we visit PCB! 10/10

I got the 2+2+2. My family loved everything they ordered as well. The food is lovely, prices are great. And the servers here are so kind. It's kind of odd to find the place and the outside can look questionable, but's it's very clean and nice inside. Definitely coming back!!!! 10/10

Good view of the bay, tucked in and doesn't look like much but impressive coming in. Outside seating to enjoy. Menu is sufficient for breakfast. Ordered 2 omelets and a breakfast egg special. Kind staff and local owned. Will return!

Bayside Cafe is in a super cute spot, very scenic area. We had a really great experience. The food was fantastic, good service, super friendly server, and we hardly had to wait to be seated at all. We tried the French toast, pancakes, crepes and the Monte Cristo. Everyone really like enjoyed their food. No negatives here, next time we are in PC we will be back.

This place was a great find! Awesome atmosphere...you can dine outside if you want. They were really busy when we arrived but our server did a fantastic job imo getting around to everyone there! We both had omelette and potato's and they were delicious! We left with big smiles, full bellies, and two thumbs up for this unique find! Check them out if you get the chance.

Beautiful view ! delicious breakfast platter

Looking at other reviews, I see it seems to be a pattern. We're local and won't be back. We walked in and they were busy and she shouted close the door you're letting in hot air. OK, I understood, and let that go. There was a large party of 8 in front of us waiting to be seated. We asked for a table for 4. She yelled it would be awhile and to "get outside and wait" and she'd get to us when she could. Absolutely no reason to speak to customers like that. We left. I thought maybe it was someone who had not taken their medications or an overworked employee that could use the opportunity for service recovery remediation, so I called and asked to speak to the owner. I would want to know if one of my employees had spoken to my customers in that manner. When I asked to speak to the owner, to my surprise, the rude female hostess said she was the owner and she didn't have time to speak to me and hung up. We went right down the street to Flour Power and got seated within 10 min. Service was great and the food was delicious. In these difficult times we live in today, kindness and politeness goes a long way. Skip Fatty Patty's...go to one of the other breakfast establishments in the area. I won't support those in the community that don't have any respect for their paying customers. Do better or perhaps find some other industry where interacting with people or just fellow human beings is required.
