We have had wonderful experiences with Summer House. We purchased several pieces of Tropitone furniture from them in 2008. Although the price of this furniture was a bit high for us at the time, we splurged because we could tell it was outstanding quality. Fast forward 15 years, and our furniture is holding up absolutely beautifully in the Seattle weather, and I suspect we may have it for 15 more years! Just called them to replace one of the slings (which ripped due wear and tear from kids and dogs), and their customer service was outstanding. I've been shopping here for years and have always loved the experience. The sales staff are always kind and appear happy to direct me to what I am looking for, but lately the prices have been going up so much - none of it is really "affordable" anymore. Quality of furniture is good, although on the expensive side. My husband and I ordered a full patio furniture set and spent over $10k. I was shocked, the level of customer service I received following a large purchase was horrendous.. I had to make multiple calls to check in on delivery dates and follow-up with them. We love this store and recently had an incredible experience where several people went above and beyond. I mentioned off-hand that I didn't want to buy anything else with teak because our (mostly covered) outdoor dining table had bowed. One of the salespeople, Ann, overheard this and inquired further and asked me to follow up with Matt & Neil. Long story short, I never even complained but within a month had a brand new top to the table installed. It was such a painless experience, I can't thank the team enough. I recently purchased a glider for two as well as pillows from Summer House Patio! I love the glider because my husband and I can both sit on an ergonomically built outdoor glider and be very comfortable! Also, their selection of outdoor pillows is awesome! The pillows are very good quality and the patterns rock!! Their after purchase service is good! Within a few hours of bringing home the glider, a gust of wind tipped the glider over and the arms were scratched! I called Summer House and they got me a touch up pen to hide the scratches! We ordered a beautiful outdoor dining table and chairs set, but when it was delivered we weren't in love with the color of the set in the sunlight. Update: A week later I got a call offering to take everything back and refund my money. They said that the owner had been out of town and they had to wait until he returned. Not the optimal outcome but acceptable. Raising them from 1 to 2 based on that. Just purchased a Comfort Sleeper queen from Summer House and the only thing better than my new sofa was the customer service from the point of purchase to the day of delivery. WELL DONE!
