3.5, food and service was good but restaurant could be cleaner.. I was in Miami for a convention and was craving meat so decides to go here for dinner. It was a windy Tuesday night, so it wasn't busy at all. I dined inside and noticed the tables and menu was grainy as if it was on the beach with sand lol. I don't need much attention when dining so overall the service was good and attentive. I ordered beef skewers with rice and salad, it was more than enough and I ended up packing about half the plate to take with me.

Don't let this plate fool you And if you have a spouse you might just fall in love . So they may get jelly

Another late night adventure looking for a bite to indulge in. And I'm so glad I found sultan or did sultan find me. Either way the service was like the name suggests. You get the sultan treatment. The hostess was very attentive and made sure I felt like home or an honorable guest. The ambience is the best cause you sit right outside Collins. I and my tastebuds was in alignment that day. I had the chicken pita with fries and dammmmmmm son where you find this " Kept repeating in my head . New fav to pass by when I'm on the beach Thank you sultan for treating me like one Food 5/5 Location 5/5 Service 5/5 I tell it like it is And sultan you are it The foodie ninja will return

Gyro Plate

Three stars adequately sums this place up. Friendly service, but food is average. My gyro plate was ok, but nothing to write home about. The salad was too soggy and tomatoes and cucumbers were disintegrating a bit because they had been sitting in the dressing too long. The fries were good. The gyro meat was ok, not the best or most flavorful I've had. Some outdoor seating. Good for a quick bite in Miami Beach.

Located directly across from the Lennox which is where we stayed; this was a convenient spot we tried out for lunch. The restaurant itself is not much of a looker. It's small and could use some TLC and they also have an outdoor patio. It was way too hot to eat outside so we sat indoors even though it wasn't that much cooler in there. The server was really nice though. To eat we ordered the house special which is basically a plate of all their meats. It comes with two sides which we chose salad and fries. They also give you pita which is fresh and soft. Everything was delicious! The portion was perfect to share and the variety was nice. My husband loved the kofte but my favorite was the gyro meat. On one walk they have pictures with all the celebrities that have visited and there's quite a large amount. Considering the food is good as it is I'm not surprised!

Late night food (4th meal if you will). The staff was somewhat not cohesive in the orders but overall okay. Not big in the automatic 20% tip on a counter order.

A little local place located cross street to our hotel. The reason why we stopped by at the 1st place. Not fancy, regular little restaurant. Ordered 3 espresso coffees and one cappuccino and it was ok. They don't provide any water, so if you need it, you have to pay for bottled one. Besides water, we ordered gyro wrap. Can't say it was bad, can't either say it was the best thing I ever ate. Average but decent. French fries included and it is good. The waitress was kind, but a little bit put a pressure on us to finish everything quickly. I understand it , but... couldn't feel relaxed .

$3 water .

Eh ... it was okay . My husband liked it better than I did . It's very expensive and they charge you for bottle water . Not fancy bottled water , just bottled water . The dishes were $25 a piece . We had 2 people in our party and the bill was $75 . They were friendly and all that but I wouldn't eat there again . Actually , I'll be brutally honest , I ordered some meat thing, it was 4 chunks of meat that were a weird red color . I felt nauseated eating it . I didn't like it AT ALL . The rice and salad was good but the meat chunks were nasty . They were cooked fine but I didn't like it . You know I'm not even sure what kind of meat this was . I have no idea if it was beef or lamb or what . It was unidentifiable. The service was good , they were fast and clean , very nice ... I could have let them slide on the meat but the bottled water pissed me off . $3 a piece .

First time here! We literally walked up to it and went in. The host/ waiter was outside and greeted us as we walked in. Amazing service! The food was amazing! Very good comfortable vibe. I got the chicken wrap and there was So much flavor in every bite! def recommend!

Shish Kebab
CC C.

Food was perfect, I love Shish kabab the most, great lamb flavour, rice was chewy, buttery, very tasty. Side salad and sauce was also great. Wish there's more meat and sauce in Gryo wrap but for the price it's not bad at all. Tabbouleh was very fresh, mild acidity which I prefer. Very nice, patient and friendly servers. Will come back when we visit Miami again.

The number 12 Chicken Kebab!

I ordered the chicken kebabs and they were great! The server was very polite. The atmosphere was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Indoor seating was closed and they were only seating people outside at the moment. If you don't like dinning outdoors, avoid this place in the mid afternoons. Staff was friendly but asked us to give them a good Google review and brought out a QR code to scan. I don't really do Google reviews and said I'm only on Yelp. They said that Yelp isn't owned by them and reviews may not be accurate but they seem to be doing well on Yelp. Felt a little off putting. Food was mediocre and quite pricey, nothing to write home about. Komma Pikilla- was a platter of different dips. My least favorite was Lady Pink, very floral. Pita bread was average. Turkish Adana Kebab- lamb and beef grounded together. Came with roasted tomatoes, shishoto pepper and red onions; lined with a thin pita. Paired with Crete Feta Dip (also came in the Komma Pikilla). Chicken Kebab- wasn't dry but wasn't juicy. Came with roasted tomatoes, shishoto pepper and red onions; lined with a thin pita. Paired with Crete Feta Dip.

Very helpful and he explained all the dishes and was a good advocate for the restaurant. We had two gluten free diners in our party, one with celiac, and our sever and Chef handled it well and adopted as best they could. We tried a lot of different dishes. The salatim trio, the persian cucumber, and steak shawarma hummus & pita (one of everyone's favorites) were all great. The local fish ceviche was very good as was the feta & pistachio. For main meals we tried the branzino (2). Also the braised beef short rib was excellent (hearty and moist) and the double cut lamb chop was cooked perfectly. It was a fun evening for sure - the tarp above us keep spilling water near the table (not on anyone) and we had fun with it.

The dip postcard guide was tricky to match up, and definitely order extra bread up front--our second basket took nearly 30 minutes. My husband found the chicken skewers mediocre, but the ground lamb skewers were delicious. Heads-up: chew carefully, as our friend bit into a bone fragment (our server noted they grind meat in-house). The Service: Staff seem stretched thin covering both indoor and outdoor sections. Our first server disappeared before taking drink orders, forcing us to flag down another waiter. Great flavors overall, but pacing delays keep it from a perfect score

Flawless hospitality, delicious food, and a mythical Greek atmosphere…read more The snapper dish was a spectacular combination of flavors! For years, I had always passed-up the Poseidon on Washington Av. in South Beach,…read morethinking it was too much of an upscale restaurant for my social bracket. But, when I saw they were advertising a Lamb Gyro for $12 (Tuesdays), I took the leap. Seems it wasn't that far to jump. Although there were table cloths, cloth napkins and silverware, with room for a true dining experience, the fan sitting atop the bar, (blowing-off more air than necessary), and the plastic plants on the walls/ceilings threw-off any pretense I had of the place. When I requested the Lamb Gyro, the server pointed to an entree on the menu for me to approve. I made sure there wasn't another (re: pricier) offer. There was... it was the one he suggested. The gyro itself consisted of a bland (Tzatziki?) sauce that struggled to find my taste buds. Lamb (typically) has a gamey/slightly sweet flavor; these cuts seemed to be found from behind their refrigerator, (not from inside). They certainly weren't cut fresh from a spit, as they were old and nearly tasteless. The included slices of onion and peppers, delegated to the pita bottom, (instead of intermingling) barely helped. The French fries (included in the price) were the most flavorful part of the meal; although, they were an insult, rather than accompaniment to the experience. And, was that Latin (instead of traditional Greek) music coming from the speakers? Along with a 20% "Administrative" fee, I won't be tempted to venture in again.

Beautiful Restaurant, Delicious Food & Great Vibes!…read more MILA is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant with a lively atmosphere and attentive wait staff. The food was delicious, and I had a wonderful dinner with my daughter. The small bar area gets crowded, but the energy throughout the restaurant makes it a fun dining experience. We visited during Miami Spice Week (Miami's version of NYC Restaurant Week), and the prix fixe menu was an amazing deal! It was a great way to enjoy the restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, great service, delicious food, and a vibrant vibe. Definitely a must-try when in Miami! Love.

He clearly does not know how to speak to customers with basic respect and courtesy. We were standing near the elevator taking pictures, just like other guests were doing throughout the restaurant. However, the manager singled us out and tried to push us out of the area while other people were taking pictures without being treated the same way. What made this experience even more disturbing was that we appeared to be the only Black guests in the restaurant. Seeing other people allowed to take pictures while we were treated this way made us question whether we were being treated differently because of our race. Let me be clear: nobody should be made to feel unwelcome, targeted, or disrespected in a restaurant simply because of who they are. Even if there was a concern about where we were standing, there was a respectful way to communicate that. The manager chose to approach us in a rude and hostile manner instead. MILA presents itself as a luxury dining destination, but luxury means absolutely nothing when the people managing the establishment lack basic manners and professionalism. Expensive decor and a beautiful atmosphere cannot make up for discriminatory treatment and terrible customer service. Management needs to take a serious look at how its staff treats guests. No restaurant is above criticism, and no customer should have to tolerate being treated like they don't belong. Based on our experience today, I would not recommend MILA to anyone who expects to be treated with dignity and respect. Absolutely disappointing.
