We came on a Sunday evening, and surprisingly, the place was completely empty--not a single customer inside. Honestly, I would have left, but my husband was too hungry. We both ordered the "Delight Mix," which is supposed to be a variety of meats. Unfortunately, the meat didn't even taste like meat, and everything was covered in what seemed like barbecue sauce. I went with the falafel sandwich with a side of fries, as well as a side of rice. There was not a lot of falafel in the pita and it was overdressed. The rice was okay, not very fresh. The fries were pretty fresh but a bit soggy - no crunch. It's a small and chill restaurant. Maybe I'll be back in the future and try a different item. This is definitely my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Miami Beach. I've eaten there multiple times, and every single time the food has been absolutely delicious. The restaurant is fairly new, nice-looking and always very clean. It's not a big place, but when I come during lunchtime, I always manage to find a table. The guys who work there are always sweet to me, but I should mention that some of them speak very bad English. A couple of times, I had communication issues with a waiter taking my order, so I basically had to point at the items on the menu. The menu is big and includes all the major Mediterranean dishes. I've tried quite a few items - Greek and Shawarma Fries, Tzatziki dip, Greek Salad, Mediterranean Salad, Chicken Kebab Plate, Chicken Shawarma, and probably a few more. As I mentioned, my food has always been fresh and very tasty. I have zero complaints about the food. My favorite meal to order is probably the Chicken Kebab Plate; they really know how to cook kebab the perfect way! It comes with rice, which is also always flavorful; I love its slightly spicy taste. Just this one meal is more than enough to make me completely full. In general, portions at this restaurant are generous; they don't go cheap, even on sides like salad or fries. I also want to mention how much I love their Turkish Black Mint Tea - it tastes fantastic, exactly like the tea I've had in Turkey. The tea is served in a big kettle, and you can easily pour about five cups from it. On top of that, it only costs $3, which is an amazing deal. Speaking of prices in general, they're reasonable for most of the items on the menu, with just a few slightly on the pricier side. The restaurant has a good location, very close to Lincoln Road, and it's easy to find. The only downside is the lack of nearby parking - you'll likely have to park somewhere in the neighborhood. By the way, whenever I came to the restaurant with my electric scooter, the staff always let me bring it inside and park it next to my table, which I really appreciated. To sum up, I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for delicious Mediterranean food at reasonable prices. read more

I rarely leave bad reviews but this was a food safety and health code violation. There was ants all over my table. I had an ant bite me. When I let the server know he ignored me. Then when I told him again he rolled his eyes and walked away. I asked for his name or his manager's information and he refused to give me any information. He was rude and dismissive. He denied their being ants. Upon further inspection you can see hundreds of red ants on the window, table, and wall right behind where I sat. I had the falafel which is rarely great as it's a bit of an art to get it both crispy outside and fluffy inside. They nailed it here! My GF's kebab platter was delicious as well and generous portion for the price. Only one miss, our pistachio cake was still half frozen and crumbled like old cake. Had high hopes going in because I love Mediterranean food. Cute little place...seemed clean, although my daughter said the bathroom was filthy. I ordered the kofta kebab with a side of grilled veggies and tabbouleh and my daughter had the chicken shawarma with the same 2 sides. The lamb was very undercooked and tasteless, the vegetables were fairly well seasoned, but almost raw. The chicken was dry and seemed to have been cooked ahead of time. Again, very little seasoning. The biggest disappointment was the tabbouleh. Didn't taste like authentic tabbouleh at all. To top it all off, we both were sick overnight in a way that would equate to having eaten something bad. I got the beef souvlaki bowl which was very big and there was a ton of flavor. The beef was delicious as was the accompanying rice. On a different occasion, I got the mezze sampler as my meal because I couldn't decide on what I wanted and it was SO good. Both the hummus and eggplant were not what I expected, but regardless the flavor was great. The kibbeh was also delicious. The only two things I didn't love from this dish was the falafel which I felt was dry and I didn't love the flavor and the grape leaves which lacked flavor.
