Tasty Egyptian food with reasonable prices! Never had Egyptian cuisine before so went with a few…read morefriends to try it and we all enjoyed it. The menu isn't too big but has a good variety of appetizers, smaller meals like wraps, and larger plates fit for sharing. We started with the foul moudamas, a surprisingly savory garlicky savory fava bean dip topped with a nice dollop of tehini. We also got the fattush salad which was nicely seasoned but still light and refreshing with a nice crunch from the pita chips. To share, we ordered the mixed kebab platter but got served the mixed shawarma platter, which had nicely seasoned beef and chicken although a good portion of it was a bit dry. The best part of the meal was the lamb shank molokhiya - a savory herby rich stew with a tender fall of the bone lamb shank served with pita and rice, the flavor of the molokhiya leaves is difficult to describe but it's a nice mix of herbal and earthy. The koshery, a common Egyptian dish of rice macaroni lentils in a spiced savory tomato sauce with fried onions for crisp, was delicious a filling. Overall, the flavors of each of the dishes were unique and well balanced, and I'd definitely come back to try more Egyptian dishes!

The chicken/meat bowl was well-seasoned, although, and quite concerning, two pieces of chicken had…read morebits of bone in them. If not for this, I would have given five stars. This was really careless food prep and could have done some intestinal damage. The ultimate falafel was good. Didn't realize the fries would be inside and given we ordered delivery via Grubhub they were soggy. I'm sure there would be better results in the restaurant.

When I arrived at the food court, I realized that this was not the same place I remembered from 10 years ago. A decade ago aspiring restaurateurs were put on waiting lists to get a spot in this much coveted tourist haven. Now it's a mere shadow of its former glory, where dozens of restaurants used to be thriving, now has been relegated to four begging for customers Out of the four, I chose Gyro house. I'll put it like this, if a wild razorback, a nile hippo, Hillary Clinton and a Tasmanian devil took a number 2 on my plate with a pate of watery duck pellets, it would've tasted better than the stomach disturbing crap I was served by Gyro House. Hunger forced me to eat this superbly bland under-cooked chicken, flavorless hummus, microwaved pita bread and half rotten salad. While I was grubbing, something revolting hit my palate, my gag reflex kicked in and I vomited out everything that was in my mouth and my throat. That is when I knew enough was enough, the rest went into the garbage. \\BEWARE\\ They have taken down the name of the restaurant, I'm assuming because of their low yelp ratings.

But there's a tip jar full of cash. The wait was over 20-minutes. People came after me were served first. It is obvious men and immigrants are special at this establishment. They prefer serving platters instead of sandwiches, because my falafel sandwich was flimsy and lacked salad vegetables. Barely any lettuce and a few pieces of diced tomato. Also, less than a tablespoon of tahini. No side dish served like the picture menu. Also, they do not carry eggplant dip. Overall, terrible customer service.
